Relax and unwind at this quiet and stylish home. We offer you a very special house: you will be in the middle of nature while enjoying all the amenities of a modern house. And in just 5 minutes you get to one of the most beautiful white villages, known for its beauty and excellent hospitality.
The space
Want to get away to a magical place? In the HiguerĂłn we offer you a unique opportunity to be in the middle of nature without sacrificing the luxuries of a fully equipped house, decorated in great detail and with an excellent Wifi connection.
Inside we offer you a living room with fireplace and chaise longue with access to the porch through large glass doors. Thanks to them you will have a panoramic view of the Sierra de LĂbar and the valley of the Guadiaro River. The kitchen, also overlooking and open to the living room, is fully equipped with everything you need to cook comfortably, includes microwave, nespresso coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher.
The house has 2 separate bedrooms. The first is furnished with a 150x190 Queen size double bed, it has bedding for any time of year and stunning views of the Sierra. It also has a large cabinet and heating in winter. The second has two single beds of 90x190 and the other one has bedding for any time of year, a large closet and heating in winter.
Outside the house offers a large porch and a 70m2 terrace with spectacular panoramic views over the valley, a small round pool of 3m x 1m also with views and sun loungers to contemplate the landscape and sunbathe. We also have a barbecue. The plot has a vineyard, orange and olive trees and is well fenced. We are pet friendly. You will have private parking next to the house. In the laundry room behind the house is the washing machine.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
Jimera de Libar is one of the numerous pueblos blancos (white villages) to be found perched on the hillsides in Andalucia. It sits almost centrally in a region known as the Serrania de Ronda. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and great geographical diversity. Popular with walkers, birdwatchers, climbers and potholers, it contains parts of both the Sierra de Grazalema and the Sierra de las Nieves.
The landscape of limestone escarpments, cork forests and orchards of oranges, olives, almonds and walnuts is both dramatic and serenely beautiful. The walking is wonderful, whether itâs a short stroll along the river or a hike into the mountains.
Ornithologists value this area as a major migration route and some rare species can be seen. Large raptors including eagles and vultures are commonly seen hanging over the nearby cork oak forest. Kingfishers, cormorants and otters frequent the Guadiaro river that runs below the village.
There is also a station where you can get the train to the remarkable town of Ronda, known as âThe City of Dreamsâ, which is twenty kilometres away. You can also get there by bus or drive on the beautiful mountain road.
In case you thought this might be a little too much peace and serenity, thereâs live music nearly every weekend, all year round in the Allioli Bar. There are two other bars, a pharmacy, a butcher and a general store too.
At La Higueron the scenery is breath-taking, the wildlife abundant and the locals are warm and welcoming. But donât take our word for it, come and see for yourself!
