We are the Scott’s; we own and manage our 9 properties on St. John all under the brand “St John Resort Villas”, ranging from a secluded studio cottage to an ultra-luxury 7-bedroom villa high atop exclusive Peter Bay on the North Shore. With our dedicated staff, you are sure to have one of your best vacations ever!! In addition, we offer the option for rental vehicles-you can pick the car/s of your choice on our website after you book, and they’ll be ready for you when you arrive at your vacation property, keys in the kitchen. Also the option for land/sea transfers from airport to villa and day or sunset excursions aboard our top-model Aquila Catamaran. It's equipped with the latest foil technology for a super-fast, very smooth ride.
We offer service and convenience as you’ve never experienced before on the island!!

This vacation listing is for a condo located at Chocolate Hole Beach. It's for the main floor only and upstairs laundry room. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are locked and not available for your use. The condo is about a 5-minute drive to Cruz Bay Town and within a few minute drive to 2 grocery stores.
The view is of the courtyard. This is not one of our oceanfront accommodations which is a higher rate.

The water is very calm on the bay, and no strong winds at this location!
You'll find some of the best snorkeling on the island here with sea turtles, and lots of beautiful, colorful fish!

Perfect setup

We had a great stay at Pirates Landing! The place had everything we needed, extremely clean, and the property manager was very easy to contact. I advise, just as a general recommendation anywhere you stay on the island, download offline maps and maybe even print out a map of the island and familiarize yourself with the area ahead of time. If at all possible, get there before dark - hard to get your bearings on those roads for the first time in the dark!

Don't be deceived

The view from the unit is NOT of the ocean, but the side of a house. The bugs on the back patio are veracious attackers. Bring good bug spray. The unit and supplies are very good. We were very disappointed with the view. Spoke with the owner and they could offer no solution.

St John Resort Villas - Pirates Landing South

Great location steps from the beach and snorkeling and kayaking, 5 minutes from Cruz Bay. The villa itself is a huge independent duplex with an adjoining similar unit. But while this was occupied throughout our stay, we never heard a sound. Terraces and the hot tub are screened and private. The interiors are well appointed in a Caribbean style with piratical flourishes. High end LG appliances, fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, and a large washer/dryer stack. A large bathroom with walk in shower and double sinks. The kitchen is well supplied with every possible dish, pots toaster, coffee maker and a Keurig. Megan and Pete our property managers were terrific and responsive to a couple of minor initial questions. One tip was that the island has occasional short blackouts. One 3 hour outage occurred while there, we simply hit the beaches. In short, a great place!!!

We are the Scott's, Al & Marykae, the owners of Lime in de Coconut, Utopia Peter Bay, Shangri-La Villa, The Beach Oasis Villa, The Palms Villa, Pirates Landing Villa, Coconut Cottage, Poseidon’s Retreat and Neptune's Retreat. Yes, that is a lot of villas on the island; it genuinely attests to our love of St John!! We love the quiet calm and natural beauty of the island!! It's a very special place with an enchanting town, gentle green hillsides, and crystal clear, turquoise blue tropical water.

We first started coming to the island as a couple in 2011 and rented various accommodations. After many frequent trips to the island, we decided that it's time to buy our own place; somewhere we can call home and that would encompass what we loved about our frequent stays. Waterfront, directly on the water was what we both loved and that was our number one criterion when searching. We saw Lime in de Coconut Villa advertised and immediately fell in love with it and bought it right then. All our family love the island and at our family gatherings, there's always a great story or fabulous memory shared. It's everyone's favorite place to vacation!! St. John is a magical piece of this earth full of amazing blessings from God and nature. We loved the villa so much that we got married at Lime In De Coconut in 2017!

In renting our villa we found that all of our guests loved the villa and we kept hearing time and time again it was there best ever vacation. It was from this that we decided to expand this into a little business and started to look for the perfect properties on St. john. We want all our guests to Love St John and have the best vacation possible as we do. We know you will catch the feel good vibes of the island and our villas too! This is our escape from reality-haaaa!!

Come on down have some fun and relaxation and when done take away memories of a life!

Beach front! Most of St. John is mountainous and or rocky shoreline. Very few properties on all of St. John are located on or near a sandy beach which makes this property extremely rare and very desirable. The water is also very calm for swimming, snorkeling etc.
