Denna vackra A Frame ligger pÄ en skyddad vik och ligger mitt i Angelina National Forest pÄ en avskild halvön (sex miles ner Forest Service Roads) och precis vid den vackra Lake Sam Rayburn. Denna rymliga retrÀtt sitter pÄ över en hektar pÄ en skyddad vik dÀr du kan fiska och Äka skidor hela dagen. Eftersom vi ligger mitt i National Forest, Àr ni nÄgra steg frÄn jakt. Njut av miles av spÄr för vandring, mountainbike och fÄgelskÄdning. Utmana dina barn till ett spel med hÀstskor, brickor, badminton eller volleyboll och svalka sedan i sjön.
Huset har 5 sovrum och tvÄ badrum och sover 18 i sÀngar! Det Àr fullt utrustat med satellit-TV, satellit internet och DVD-spelare, disk, köksartiklar, kolgrill, tvÄ kylskÄp fryskombinationer, en tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare. Inuti matsalar 6 vid bordet och ytterligare 6 i baren med plats för 16 ute pÄ dÀck. Badrummen Àr utrustade med gott om handdukar, tvÀtttvÀttar och hÄrtorkar. Alla tre sovrummen har queen size-sÀngar. Loftet sovrummet har en king size-sÀng och Àr pÄ övervÄningen. VÄningssÀngrummet Àr pÄ övervÄningen och har en drottning, en full och sex enkelsÀngar. Alla sÀngar har mycket bekvÀma madrasser och högkvalitativa sÀngklÀder och de fulla, kungarna och kungssÀngarna har alla supermadrasser med madrasser. De Àr sÄ bekvÀma att du inte vill komma ut ur sÀngen !!

Fastigheten har över 300 'av strandlinjen. En tvÄmans kajak / kanot Àr tillgÀnglig med livvÀstar. Ett stort dÀck har utsikt över vattnet och har tvÄ stora picknickbord och sittplatser. Om du letar efter den trevligaste platsen pÄ sjön Àr det hÀr!

Awesome house on the lake

A beautiful house located in great area. This is my third time to stay here and will continue staying here. The owners were very nice and was sure to let us know if we needed anything to get with them. Definitely will be booking here again.

Secluded!

The one lane dirt road is worth it if you’re wanting a quiet get away! The owners are so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed time on the water and on the back porch!

Great place to stay.

There has plenty of room for a large family. We used the canoe, kayak, paddle board, and ping-pong table and swam off the dock. While it is a little bit out of the way, you get more peace and quiet with the seclusion and the Brookshire Express in Broaddus is just a short drive. Also, the Dairy Mart restaurant also in Broaddus is a must. Would definitely go back.

Peaceful

This rental was fantastic! It had plenty of beds, everything we needed, and the owners were very gracious! We went out on the canoe, had an outdoor fire going, played horseshoes and ping pong! We will likely return. Excellent for multiple families with children.

Best Place on Sam Rayburn

18 Family members stayed for 4 days at this property from 12 to 68 and we always vote on the last day for next years location. It was a unanimous 18-0 vote to come back to this place next year. Which was shocking to me as I raised a few Prima Donna's lol. You could not find a better place on Sam Rayburn even if you doubled your budget

Family Reunion

Our family does a week together every year. It is a time in which we all look forward to. For the past several years, our family spent our time in Galveston, TX. This year we took a gamble and tried out Lake Sam Rayburn as we all spend our childhood there. Book the A-Frame was easy and met/exceeded all of our expectations. The area was quiet, the lake was right outside the door, the deck was wonderful, and the hosts were amazing and accommodating. Our kids spent every day in the lake and the fishing was top notch. We all agreed this was one of our best family reunions together.

Birthday with Family

1st off I am not one to do reviews. But I couldn't go without letting people know how wonderful the A Frame is. Let me tell you if you are thinking of a great place to go, this is IT!!! From the home itself, the lake views, the huge yard, large patio, all the amenities and most of all tge most friendliest and perfect hosts I have ever met! Thank yoy for sharing your home with us! My crew decided we will be back annually!!

We had a wonderful time. We had 18 people and had lots og toomngor everyone. This is a great location on the lake and this is a great place to tent and the owners are amazing. They let us come in early and leave a little later since it rained some. We had a fantastic weekend

It was nice and spacious, owner gave lots of info and was very helpful during our stay, we brought a pontoon and the lake was down but the owner took my husband to the boat ramp to see if we could launch there
. It was a nice peaceful get away with friends and family! All the beds were super comfy

Our family of 12 had an awesome time! This rental has everything you could want or need in a rental and Steve and Ferryn are so accommodating. They were next door and easily accessible to answer our questions. Our check in was a breeze. The place is so clean, with comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen. The guys caught lots of fish! The grandsons had so much fun fishing and using the little boat with the trolling motor! The girls enjoyed the Ping pong table and the games. This part of the lake was a good place for tubing and a short ride to an awesome beach area. The location is very quiet and secluded with beautiful sunsets. Thanks Ferryn and Steve for a great time on the lake. God willing we will see you next year!

Piece of heaven

It was a long dirt way drive for sure however it was the most peaceful, comfortable, safe place we have visited thus far. We started this family tradition trip since 2019. The host response was rapid and they were so kind. There were plenty beds and were super comfortable. The house was clean and homey, ac was cold and plenty of towels! Our kids loved the A frame design and walking out the back glass doors was the piece of heaven. The view along with fishing, swimming, canoeing, and hanging out it’s an all in one. Our family was definitely pleased and had voted to go back next year!

Great stay

Everything was as described in the listing. The host seems to have covered everything. We had a power outage, and provisions had been made to provide a generator to make our stay comfortable. Great planning.

Pleasant Stay

This is a cute A-frame with excellent views of the lake! The drive into the subdivision is dusty but so worth it. The fishing was very good! There are a lot of amenities. Check-in and check-out was very easy. I highly recommend this rental. Ferryn was friendly and helpful.

Great Time!

Loved the morning coffee looking at all the birds and that peaceful water. 8 oldies spent a great time fishing, visiting, napping and laughing.. OH Yea eating!!! Wonderful time already told friends to book!! We will be coming back!

We are retired teachers who live in the A Frame during the winter and at our next door cabin during rental season. We love to watch the sunsets, water ski, spot bald eagles and relax on the lake during the summer.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We bought this property in 2010 and planned to rent it until we retired. However, we are now retired and even though this will be our permanent address, we are going to continue renting because it has been such a positive experience. Our family owns the small cabin next door which enables us to enjoy the lake while renting the A Frame.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We use to think that the distance from Houston was too far (takes 2 1/2 to 3 hrs) but after spending time at some lakes close to Houston with the crowds, we think our lake is the best in Texas.
