VÀlkommen till Ramsey's Retreat, belÀget pÄ 1. 7 hektar i en privat underavdelning. Denna vackra rymliga hem ligger inbÀddat i slutet av en lugn vik, omgiven av skuggande trÀd, med en spektakulÀr utsikt över sjön och bergen.
Det Àr bekvÀmt inredda med trÀgolv och kakel i hela hemmet. Det finns 3 sovrum med queen sz. sÀngar och en sÀng. med tvÄ enkla sz. sÀngar. PÄ övervÄningen sovrummet har ytterligare A / C-enhet lagt 2019. MÀstaren bedrm. gÄr ut pÄ dÀck med utsikt över sjön.
Rymligt vardagsrum RM. har satellit-TV / DVD-spelare och gas spis; & En formell matsal RM., BÄda med utsikt över sjön. Fullt utrustat kök har sten bÀnkskivor och en frukostplats med utsikt över sjön. Det finns tre fulla sz. badrum med jacuzzi i Master bad. KÀllare, som spelrum erbjuder ett bordtennisbord, darttavla, sÀtta golf band, och en annan TV.
Krypa upp med en bok pÄ baksidan dÀck eller ta en kort promenad ner till den privata bryggan och strandomrÄdet. Njuta av bad i nÄgon vaknar vik eller en avkopplande tur i en kajak.
MÄnga typer av vilda liv hÄlla spÀnningen gÄr, liksom fiske utanför bryggan. För naturÀlskare finns SML State Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, och toppar Otter w / ett brett utbud av vandringsleder och cykelvÀgar att vÀlja mellan.

Lovely house

We fully enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely and spacious. The kitchen is well-stocked. We had fun with the games in the basement rec room. We enjoyed the kayaks and the floaties that were provided. We would have liked more shade on the dock. The area is lovely and we were close to shopping. It was easy to get around. My only suggestion would be to put blinds on the first floor bedroom windows. We loved the sunshine but not so much at 5:30 amThank you for providing a lovely house for a wonderful vacation.

Cousins’ Getaway

We had a great time at Ramsey’s Retreat! We spent lots of time on the back porch, since the weather turned stormy during our stay. We were grateful for the access to the kayaks and paddles. Everyone slept well in the well-appointed bedrooms and always had plenty of hot water for showers. Overall, we were very comfortable and it was easy to feel at home while away from home!

Perfect Place!!

We rented Ramsey’s Retreat so our family would have a spacious, relaxing place to stay while we attended my daughter’s graduation from Liberty University. It was absolutely perfect. The pictures online do not do this place justice. It is breathtakingly beautiful! It was less than an hour away from Liberty University but only 15 or so minutes from a grocery store and great places to eat

best smashburger ever!! The check in process was very smooth and the owners were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. 10 out of 10!! Would recommend to anyone!

Weekend getaway

We met our military daughter halfway from base. It was her 21st birthday and she will be deploying shortly so she wanted a quiet weekend getaway with water activities and bonfire. This house had everything we wanted. It was perfect for our stay. The only complaint we had was there wasn't any fish the owners are absolutely wonderful!!!

Awesome time!

When we arrived at Ramsey's Retreat and walked in the door, our eyes were drawn to the wall of windows overlooking the beauty of the lake. We had about a day or so of rain, but were able to enjoy the activities in the basement (darts, mini golf pad and ping pong). We also appreciated the quiet cove for kayaking. We were grateful the house was equipped with towels/linens and household items. The surroundings were tranquil and we enjoyed watching the deer, squirrels and birds. We are already looking forward to our next trip back!

No need to leave vacation spot!

This was a wonderful property. So much to do for the kids, and a relaxing place for adults. The beach and boats were a lot of fun. We also loved the back patio overlooking the lake.

Beautiful Lake Front Home

A beautiful home nestled in a quiet cove. We had a very comfortable stay while enjoying the lake by day and the fire pit at night. The owners are always available if needed. We have rented two years in a row and plan on renting again for next Summer!

Comfortable home with beautiful views

The lake access was unsurpassed. We loved the dock, the floating dock, the paddle boat and the two kayaks. We even got to use the firepit even though it was a hot weekend. The home was beautiful and comfortable. Love the different sections of the home so that different family groups had their own section and a little privacy. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Haus lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen! Eins der Doppelzimmer liegt etwas abseits im Keller, das Kinderzimmer im OG, leider ohne Bad, aber uns hat das nicht weiter gestört! Unsere Kinder haben die Kajaks und das Tretboot vor Ort sehr gut genutzt und sehr glĂŒcklich gemacht

Beautiful Retreat

The Ramsey retreat was a hidden gem that we were so blessed to stay at. We were attending a college graduation and found this sweet place. The owners are super helpful and thoughtful. The place is immaculate, homey, and so peaceful. The location was perfect for us. We will definitely be back. We can't wait! Thank you for sharing you special retreat with us.

Great Lake, Great Retreat

When we first pulled into the driveway we were greeted by not one or two but seven deer grazing on the property. This told us everything we needed to know about the property. Peace and quiet, beautiful views, close enough to the lake we could hear the fish jumping. Open concept layout allowed everyone in our party to be comfortable but close enough to be included. Very clean, nicely furnished we thoroughly enjoyed our week there. Close enough to everything we wished to do without driving half a day. A 5 star accommodation in our opinion! Thank you Ramseys!

Lot's of Fun!

Located in a quiet no-wake cove making the lake very good for swimming. The house is in a very quiet off the beat location. The street through the neighborhood is bike friendly! Beautiful view! This was our second stay at the property and will book this location again in the future.

Great Place To Relax and Enjoy Family

Great place for a family vacation. Four generations were present for the week. Plenty of space for 7 adults and 3 children. Beautiful view of the lake from the large back porch and boat dock. Made use of kayaks and peddle boat provided and rented a pontoon boat which we kept at the private dock. State park was only 1 mile down the road and took advantage of bike trails. Members of the family said this would be a good choice for a repeat vacation. Ramsey Retreat for the win!

The place was very nice and clean. We would have liked a bigger TV and a path to the water as it was a long walk in the grass with a hill. The water was nice you could see the bottom. When we were there we wanted to fish off the dock but there was no fish around. The fire pit was great for s'mores. It was very peaceful because we were the last house. The kayaks were great and the peddle boat.
