Seems about right for Vegas

Hot tub dirty and we had to put water in because it was only about half full. Old fireworks in a bucket on the patio Dirty BBQ utensils outside No body wash in master bathroom Had to clean pots and pans before we could use them No wash clothes Ran out of hand soap in one bath and no hand soap in the kitchen No kitchen towels and only one hand towel in each bathroom Floors were disgusting, feet were black at the of the day

Disappointed

I was pretty disappointed with our experience from the very first hour after I booked the house. I received an off-putting email making me feel like a criminal with so many rules (understandable) and negative scolding, chastising remarks (never have I ever seen anything like this - and we use VRBO several times a year). I considered canceling right then. I received more similar emails leading up to the trip, and although the Las Vegas market must be tricky for owners, this was honestly so over the top. Upon arrival, I was disappointed in the state of the home. The floor felt dirty when walking on it, there were beds without sheets or blankets, several broken items and most notably the hot tub (which was a HUGE selling point for us) wasn’t working correctly. I did NOT want to reach out to the owner based on the communication by email, as I didn’t want to be scolded. I will also say that the neighborhood felt less sage than I would have liked, though everything ended up fine.

The pictures are much better than the actual house.

I really don’t like to leave bad reviews because I know how hard it can be to run STR. My friends have some but this one seems to be managed by a company instead of a person - and it shows in the house… Initially walking through the house looked so nice. Was big, kitchen/living room is gorgeous, pool of course, etc. But then we started to use things around the house and take a closer look. The first obvious thing was all this clutter in the backyard by the table/dart board. There were tools, broken cornhole boards, a giant cardboard box and more just cluttering the area. Also, the pool itself was dirtyyyy. The pics look crystal clear & I don’t just mean debris. It needed scrubbed. Also the nice chairs by the fire pit you see aren’t there. It was 2 torn up patio chairs that you couldn’t sit in because the bands were broken or look close to breaking. Then head inside, the bug catcher they had plugged in the hall for flies was FILLED and the AC filters were clearly neglected. More annoying was the door in the laundry room headed to the garage - it literally wouldn’t latch unless you locked it. Also, the master bath looks SO PRETTY but it’s so unmaintained. When you run the shower the entire bottom fills up like a pool. The area with the toilet in the master is it’s own space but couldn’t shut the door bc the light didn’t work. All in all, you’ll be fine to stay here but for the price - I would find something else…
