Brand New Listing! Unik 1000 kvadratmeter stadsplan rymd land / berg - perfekt för en romantisk borta eller längre vistelse.
'Studio C' ligger i en av fabrikerna, en oberoende del av det historiska 200-åriga komplexet. Vi presenterades på det nationellt utsända HGTV: s program "reZONED" en serie som firar enastående återupptagna bostadsutrymmen i Nordamerika.

Vårt utrymme var med i Adirondack Life Magazines (Feb 2015) artikel "Radicle Rentals".

En öppen lägenhet med stora fönster och fantastisk utsikt, nytt utomhusdäck med bord / stolar, stort parasoll, gasgrill. Arbetande antika vedspis, välutrustat kök, stort kylskåp, komplett badrum med stor dusch. Den romantiska tillflyktsorten har en unik king size-säng och plattform perfekt för ett par.

Våra gäster bor inom den nationellt erkända skulpturgården docs / och har lätt till floden och sjön för simning, kajakpaddling, paddling, forsränning etc.

Vi jobbar skulptörer - och för de intresserade vi är glada att öppna våra studior, galleri och skulpturträdgård.

Another outstanding stay

Once again John and Caroline provided us with a great and comfortable stay at Studio C. Perfect location in the ADK, so on days when weather was nice we had great adventures in the area and when the weather was not great then Studio C provided a great option for staying out for the day.

Delightful

We had a delightful stay. Studio C was very comfortable and attractive. John and Caroline were friendly and helpful but not intrusive. We enjoyed the beautiful setting and sculpture park along the river. We especially enjoyed touring the studios and talking with Caroline and John. The area offers many opportunities for outdoor activities. We would definitely stay again.

Property was as advertised. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the property and the hospitality of John and Caroline. The Studio was very private from the rest of the property. The Studio was well equipped for everything needed, was extremely comfortable and the sculpture grounds were spectacular. Highly recommended from our perspective.

A beautiful piece of peace and quiet with a riverside view.

We were both so pleased to have discovered this treasure spot for our 40th wedding anniversary. Meeting John and Caroline was an unexpected anniversary gift. It truly is a lovely treasure hidden in the rural Adirondacks. The hosts were so gracious and welcoming even sharing their time, sculpture and beautiful working studios upon request. At the same time, the actual living space is set aside, private, spacious and wonderful. Everything was clean, modern, nicely appointed, and well designed with some of owners' own art gracing the room. The river is only steps away and a delightful way to spend a few hours enjoying the cool shade. The closest town had nice shops and a good coffee spot (Uncle Carl's). We are looking forward to another visit next summer.

Beautiful Space, wonderful art

This is our third time at John and Caroline's sculpture garden. Living in a sculpture garden on a beautiful river, if only for a short time, is an amazing experience. The studio apartment is very large, has a very well equipped apartment sized kitchen, is extremely clean and the bed is comfortable. The apartment is also well designed and filled with original art. We love it here and are coming back later in the summer.

Great End of Summer Stay

Studio C was a great place to relax and enjoy the Adirondacks from reading while sitting by the river, enjoying the deck while grilling dinner, and visiting some wonderful natural areas and small villages a short drive away. Was exactly what we were looking for to enjoy the great end-of-summer weather. We have stayed at Studio C before and will certainly be back again.

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at Studio C! The setting is beautiful and so was the property. Meeting John and exploring the sculpture garden made it a truly unique experience. I highly recommend.

Serene garden

Peaceful beautiful setting located in an old mill. Interior itself was nicely furnished and very clean. Not only dishes & appliances needed to cook but also had several spices, etc. Listing indicated sculpture garden but we also met John & Caroline along with tour of their studios, unexpected plus. Convenient location for hiking, kayaking & historical attractions. Highly recommend Adirondack experience museum.

Wonderful hosts

A lovely quiet location, surrounded by trees. Well furnished and attractive. Our only concern was the platform, elevated bed, not the greatest for people of advancing age.Hosts are welcoming and helpful. Went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.

Beautiful and Relaxing

This beautiful and inviting place matches the grandeur hospitality of John and Caroline. Was the best peaceful getaway we have had at any VRBO. Truly worth the trip to Wells, NY. Serenity, art & nature- the perfect getaway

My fiancé and I had the best time at John & Caroline’s property! The studio was super clean, well decorated and right near the banks of the river which we walked down to every day. John & Caroline were very accommodating & communicative. They even showed us around the sculpture garden and gave us insight into their work and process- very cool and inspiring! The location has perfect access to Wells and other towns/sites/hikes/lakes in the Adirondacks. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Peaceful Setting

The property was in a quiet spot close to the river and the studio was well appointed, spacious and clean. We enjoyed the style and the comfort of the space and loved being surrounded by John and Caroline's beautiful sculptures all through the gardens and in the studio.

Wonderful stay!

John and Caroline's place is beautiful and magical. The unit is situated on the grounds of their studio complex, and the place is dotted with their large, amazing sculptures. Walking around the grounds is like walking around an outdoor museum. There is a clean, rushing river right on the grounds, and they supply chairs and an umbrella for relaxing near the water. The studio unit is sparkling clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are books and lovely puzzles, so even if the weather is bad it is fun to settle in for a cozy day. John and Caroline are friendly, warm, and helpful, in addition to being supremely talented and interesting. I can't say enough good things about this place or the hosts. This was our second stay, and we look forward to coming back again!.

Art in the Wilderness

Our experience staying at "Studio C" exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful (peacefully sited near the burbling river), exquisitely maintained (the host even ironed the bed linens), and fully outfitted. Such an aesthetically pleasing and deeply comfortable space! The hosts are engaging, talented sculptors, willing to take the time to provide tours of their working studios. We hope to return!

A Place to Return

This property is a gem, not just because of the beautiful location in the woods by a river, and not just because the accommodations were comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Hosts John and Caroline and daughter Chloe were lovely and took time to see that we were comfortable and to answer many questions we had about exploring the surrounding towns. and countryside. The fact that both John and Caroline are well-known sculptors, and we were surrounded by their breathtaking work was icing on a very delicious experience! We would love to be repeat visitors in the future.

Amazing week in a sculpture garden!

Studio C is part of a renovated mill complex belonging to John and Caroline, both accomplished sculptors. Their artistic approach is present everywhere in the space. The unit is a large, well designed studio apartment with a nicely appointed kitchen, two seating areas, platform sleeping area, etc. There is a deck with an outdoor table, which looks out onto the amazing sculptures; we enjoyed meals and played games there. There is a river running past that we were able to wade and swim in. Caroline and John were terrific hosts, very warm and welcoming. Our stay was comfortable in every way, relaxing, and uniquely beautiful. This was by far the most unique and beautiful place we have stayed, and we can't wait to go back.

Extraordinarry

I needed a place to get away after a year of too much togetherness with family. I picked Studio C because of its excellent location within the Adirondacks, the beautiful pictures of the space, and the opportunity to stay on the grounds of a sculpture park. The reality of this remarkable place far exceeded my expectations. This is a stunning property., spacious and thoughtfully designed for comfort and enjoyment. The kitchen had everything I needed, the kingsize platform bed was super comfortable (I must admit, I crawled back in for a nap every afternoon). Abundant hot water and super water pressure. I loved sitting on the deck and reading and walking around the property. It's literally on the banks of Sacandaga River, making me wish I'd brought my bathing suit. The town of Wells doesn't have a supermarket but does have smaller delis/convenience stores. And I didn't see any restaurants, but the hosts left a vast amount of information on places to eat, shop, hike and do just about anything else nearby. And speaking of the hosts, they were very kind and thoughtful. They checked in a few times to make sure everything was okay but were in no way intrusive. I can't wait to go back.
