Momentum loft ligger på andra våningen (över Momentum Surf och Skate Boutique) i den livliga korsningen av Front och Market Street. Vi är i mitten av åtgärden downtown. Massor av shopping, restauranger, drycker, barer, levande musik och museer inom fyra kvarter radie.
Vår enhet levereras med ett parkeringskort i Market Street Deck med ingång över gatan.
Denna del av Front Street är full av detaljhandel och restauranger med en irländsk Pub intill. Våra gäster kan förvänta sig den vanliga stadens brus. Det finns inga klubbar på den här delen av det block som spelar högljudd BASS tills 02:00. Puben intill spelar tolerabla musik på en acceptabel nivå fram till 02:00. Sovrummet ligger på baksidan av enheten och omges av tjocka murar som möjliggör en god natts sömn!
Loftet har 2 skum surfbrädor. Tveka inte att komma ner och be ägaren om privata surflektioner.

Great location; lots of amenities

The location is prime location in the central of the river walk area. It’s next to lots of venues to socialize and dine , and is the perfect size for one person. It’s very clean , and nice bed as well as full size couch.

In the heart of downtown

We loved pretty much everything about this place! The location is exactly where we wanted to be, with the ability to step out the door into the downtown nightlife. The place is clean, comfortable, and well-apppointed. Our only (very) minor quibble is there was no way to get/make ice inside the unit. There is some noise from the street below, but it really wasn’t enough to bother us, even on a busy holiday weekend. We will definitely be staying here again!

Pleasant Long Weekend in Wilmington

Had a great time visiting Wilmington for a long weekend. The location of the stay is right in the middle of everything which was super convenient. Definitely worth paying a little extra for the parking spot in the deck as street parking gets full on the weekends. Property itself is nice, all the necessities. Most of our time was spent out and about anyways. Only con is the noisiness of the bar downstairs. A previous review suggested turning on the AC fan which helped but be prepared to hear it until like 2am on Friday and Saturday. I think some insulation around the door would help a little. For a short stay it wasn’t a big deal and it may be quieter during the week.

Amazing stay!

Perfect location. Right in the heart of everything, we passed the place several times while out. Perfect size for 2. Clean, charming, and exactly as advertised. Great property manager communication, extremely easy check in & out. Cant wait to stay again and already recommended the place!

Sweet visit

This property is downtown in the middle of everything!!! In fact, River Fest was going on that weekend so a lot going on. But in spite of the loudness and craziness going on in the streets this condo was incredibly quiet inside, especially in the bedroom. Great get away

Perfect Historic Downtown location in a vibrant location.

Very convenient, comfortable stay for 2 nights to visit with family. Overall highly recommend for those planning to enjoy the nightlife and historic downtown Wilmington. Noise (chatter) The Irish pub can be a bit much until midnight to 1 AM. Solved that problem the second night by letting the fan run on the HVAC unit. Same to drown out the noise. Also recommend the addition of a small Keurig for coffee in the morning. Owners were very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Thank you.

Perfect stay in great location

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Momentum Loft. The property was just as described, and the location in downtown Wilmington was wonderful. There are lots of little bars, restaurants and shops on one side, and the Riverwalk on the other. Parking is also convenient. We were within easy walking distance of Live Oak Pavilion, so no fighting traffic after a show. Host Hunter was communicative and responsive and made the process super easy. 10/10

Perfect location

This was perfect for our "sister weekend stay". Right in the downtown area to access shopping and food. Not a full kitchen but perfect to have coffee, a piece of toast to start your day. Well worth the 10.oo a day parking pass. Very easy check in and check out. Owner is very responsive.

4th of July in Wilmington

Our two night stay was tremendous. Hunter & Misti were great as hosts. One block from the Cape Fear. Within walking distance to anything downtown. The room was cozy & comfortable. The noise from the bars was not bad. Can be a bit noisy if lots of people on the street outside using their outside voices. We would definitely stay again.

Downtown getaway

The momentum loft is a great downtown spot to stay if you are interested in an easy walk to all things Downtown Wilmington. Great riverfront access, restaurants, nightlife, and just a short drive to Wrightsville Beach. Would definitely stay again.

Varför värden valde detta boende

In May of 2008, my wife and I opened Momentum Surf and Skate in downtown Wilmington at 5 North Front Street. I was running a fine dining restaurant at 114 Market Street called Deluxe and the Front Street building I had my eye on came up for rent! We wasted no time and leased the space without any plan or funding, just a dream! Our new business flourished and we decided in 2011 to renovate our upstairs surfboard gallery back into an apartment for our visiting friends. Our friendship base grew quickly when everyone realized how cool our little downtown condo was so we had to get organized with a calendar and a way for people to help us pay the bills. Now VRBO handles all of that for us!
