I would highly recommend this rental! Everything was clean and well decorated was a beautiful place! Some things were very high tech and interesting to say the least! The only thing I would change is the comforters bed was very comfortable! Kitchen was well equipped! It was private I felt safe ! I would gladly go back again loved it!!!

The host was great and attentive. I will say the property was nice but it needed more attention to detail in the cleanliness. I was woken up to what sounded as if there was a baby crying in the basement. There were other people at the location in the basement at random times which was slightly discomforting. The shower and toilet down stairs was not working when we arrived and had to call the owner twice for that issue but it was handled and they were very nice about it. Almost felt as if we should have been made aware of having others at the property during our stay as we paid for a whole home for the entire stay. It was in a very nice neighborhood very close to different activities and it made traveling the area very nice and easy to navigate.

Mexicans in the basement

I will admit, the house is a beautiful home. It’s very clean for the most part. Nice layout, plenty of space for our family. Pillows are extremely too thick, so we had stiff necks in the morning. Might wanna bring your own pillow. But the most uncomfortable thing about our stay was that they have Mexicans living in the basement and did not think it was important to tell us, we thought we had the place to ourselves. There’s a door off the kitchen that reads “DO NOT OPEN THIS DOOR” we assumed that was off limits due to cleaning/maintenance supplies etc etc until we heard people taking in Spanish, clanging around, tv program noises and music etc etc all coming from behind the door. We were freaked out, we didn’t know if they had squatters or what. Freaked out enough so that we locked our bedroom doors at night and Bobbie trapped the basement door and didn’t keep anything of value in the house while we were gone during the day because we didn’t know what kind of access they had to us and it was a bit unsettling. And the owner has horrible communication skills, does not respond to messages. We had to get Vrbo involved just to get our access code to get in the house.We did report all of this to Vrbo, and the agent said it was totally unacceptable and they filed a claim against this owner, so we’ll see. I hope something is done before someone gets hurt or has something stolenAnd for the record I don’t care at all that they are Mexicans, I woulda been scared no mater the race

NYC trip

Overall a convenient location to stay after going to New York City. The home had plenty of space for the five of us to stay. I would have liked to have been informed that the are apparently people staying or visiting the basement of the house during our stay. I was awakened around 7 am Two banging and noises and people talking, which of course was a tad alarming because I didn’t expect anybody to be in the house with us. A safety concern for five women alone in an unfamiliar home.

Came in town to visit another relative and explore NJ and NYC together for a mini reunion. The house is very cute and was very clean! Everything ran smoothly as expected. We would definitely try to stay at this property again if we are visiting the area again.

Met our needs

Convenient location. Could use some wash cloths/hand towels/paper towel. All in all, all we needed was a place to sleep for our large family and it accommodated us well.

Bare Minimum Standards

If you're looking for a place to sleep with bare minimum standards, this property is for you. Overall the rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and location was good. But we had issues with cleanliness and supplies. Checkin Issues: - No checkin instructions provided ahead, we had to get VRBO support involved to reach host - WiFi not working first day. Reached out to host who fixed next morning. Cleanliness: - No washcloths, we purchased our own - No hand towels, we purchased our own - Hand soap ran out in one day (in both bathrooms), no refills. We purchased our own - Significant amount of open leftover food in refrigerator+freezer, including open package poultry - Kitchen floor and counters not clean - No dishwasher soap - Old dirty sponge left in sink - Upstairs shower not clean (hair on walls) Maintenance Issues: - Electrical outlets only active on one side of kitchen. Some small appliances would not work unless moved to other side.

We recently stayed at this Vrbo rental, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The property was exactly as described and even exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The space was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare our meals. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept soundly each night. The location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions and amenities while still offering a peaceful and quiet retreat. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing clear instructions and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the little touches that made our stay special. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. This rental was perfect for us and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. We will definitely be back!

The house was excellent ,big, comfortable , clean. The only issue was that the upstairs floor was smelling very strong of weed. Im sure this issue could of been resolve before we arrived. Other that that place was good

Great location but house needs some improvement

We are a family of 5 and checked into this house for 3 days and 2 nights. I would have rated this a 5 stars but the house needs some improvements. Positives * Owners are very nice and responsive. * Wifi was high-speed and reliable. * Beds & mattresses are very comfortable/ clean. * The house is large and can easily host 5 people. * TVs are updated & are loaded with Netflix/YouTube and Disney Plus. *Both bathrooms are updated and clean. * The house is in a great location, & I never felt unsafe. * Large back yard & the kids loved it as they could run around. * Only 10 minutes from Dream Water Park and Mall. Negatives *Overall, the bedrooms & bathrooms were clean, but the main house needs a deep clean. Some of the cups & silverware had to be washed before using them. * It was very cold as it's an old house and not well insulated. It was very windy on the night when we stayed, and drafts were coming through the windows and doors, making it bone-chilling cold. This wouldn't be as bad if there were warm blankets. We looked in every closet, but there was none. The kids & I had to dress up in layers as the heat couldn't really keep up. * There were glade plug-ins in every room, making the scents very overpowering. This was easily fixed by unplugging and airing out the room. *The pillows were all the same size (firm not soft) & hard to sleep on. * The furniture in the main house needs updating. Couches are old & worn out. * Pots & pans need to be replaced.
