our month at the beach...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we have stayed at The Shores before and really enjoyed our vacation....however, although #301 was neat and clean, the furniture was deplorable , we are seniors and could not get out of the sofa as well as the only other barrel chair...they need to be replaced. Also, if the owners really want to upgrade, they should consider changing out the toilets , so you don't feel like you are setting on the floor..

Great Beach and Condo Complex

Unit 301 was not as well supplied and maintained as other units we have stayed in at this complex. No basic items like hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, and only one trash bag. Linens few in number and very thin. Toaster does not pop up as set and there were small bugs on the kitchen counter. Refrigerator needed filters changed and kept beeping. Upon arrival there were dirty towels and sheets in the laundry area; contacted Sunhost and these were promptly removed. Just some things to think about and maybe take care of. We love The Shores and certainly hope to return.

Another fantastic vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Once again, a great vacation! (I’ve rented this condo for many years and it has always been fantastic!) The AC quit working one evening and after a phone call, the maintenance crew showed up the next morning and an AC company was there by the afternoon and fixed the problem. It was great to see that the beach chairs and umbrellas that we bought and left in the closet last year were still there, as well. The new couch was nice but unfortunately isn’t a sleeper so that was a surprise. The only suggestion I would make is instead of a mattress on just a frame; a “real” bed would be nice in the master bedroom. Great location; right on the Gulf, fantastic views, I’ve already reserved it for two weeks next September!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is right on the beach. Great sunsets...great location. Honestly I would have to nit pick for criticism. They need to do some upgrades and spend a little of that enormous rent money they make. The pans in the kitchen are old and food sticks to everything. We had to buy a pan at Winn Dixie. The towels are old and are fraying and falling apart. There are only three steak knives and the knives are all dull in general. This is all fixable and should be done immediately. Property management staff was outstanding. Parking is great. Everything is good except the above mentioned. Just disappointing that such a nice place cant provide some good pans and knives and towels.

Lovely property. Quiet, smaller complex and well maintained

We didn’t have to wonder or call someone when we arrived to figure it out. Check in was a breeze. The rental company was easy to contact and kept in touch with me for any updates, check in time changes, etc. we were within 15 minutes if so many great restaurants. We only wished we had time to visit them all during our stay.

September at the Beach

Fun in the Sun with a Great View .

It is right on the Gulf between Clearwater and St Pete Beach. The Condo grounds offers a nice Pool, Grills and Covered Tables to enjoy the outdoors and fantastic view. Just a few steps away you are on the beach. Their are great restaurants in close proximity. A great view with spectacular sunsets on the Condo deck. We have stayed here in the past and look forward to staying in the future.

R Shores Condo Stay

The only complaints would be the closet door was broken for the 2 weeks, the Master Bath toilet ran all the time, never got fixed. taste of water. (?). One last thing. The last day of our stay about 2 dozen teenagers, used the parking lot and went in and out to the beach. Some had the code, some jumped over the fence, sand everywhere. Thats all.

The building was clean and the grounds kept up very neatly. Our unit had a great view and had everything you would need for a great stay. Understanding that this unit is probably to be used a only as a rental, I found the unit to be a little dated but nice.

Great stay

Place was perfect for us, weather was perfect. Pool wasn't heated so nobody used it but we knew that going into the week. I had inquired beforehand with the property management company if the unit had beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. but for some reason, they said they couldn't confirm. The unit does have several beach chairs, an umbrella and some other small beach items. We would absolutely rent this unit again.

Noisy

Poorly build and needs remolded. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing. We kept hearing the people above us walking and sliding their kitchen chairs in. When the neighbors beside us would leave in and out their door you can hear them talking and shutting their door as if they are in your condo. Definitely house keeping needs to do a better job with cleaning. The floors are dirty and their is a lot of dirt built up in the corners of the floor and on the trim. There is only two kitchen towels and two dish clothes. On a positive note the location and views are the best things about the condo.
