Casa Sun nestled in a natural pristine location with luxury at your figure tips is only a few steps from majestic Playa Grande beach and world class surf break, with breaks for beginners to most advanced. Playa Grande beach is miles long of fine, pale sand; perfect for those who enjoy a leisurely beach stroll and a warm ocean breeze. Beach coast belongs to Las Baulas National Park, as Leather Back Turtle Nesting Area.

Playa Grande is packed with tour options and things to do! From authentic dining to shopping and entertainment, can explore the 1,500-acre estuary with a kayak and see the variety to mangroves and exotic animals, including from monkey's, to aquatic birds. Travel to the northern end of Playa Grande to Playa Ventanas and jump into beautiful snorkeling waters.

Note, there are four outdoor security cameras on the property, one at each exterior gate and one at common BBQ area.

Great place to stay in Playa Grande

This place in Playa Grande, CR is spotless, secure, and incredibly convenient, just a short walk from a great surf spot. Trevor, the owner, was amazing, keeping us updated on all the details leading up to our stay through WhatsApp and text. The property maintenance crew was great as well. We are definitely planning to stay here again next year!

Excellent, would recommend to others

This was our first time to Costa Rica, Playa Grande is an excellent area to visit. Contacting the host was easy enough. We thought the property was amazing with beautiful landscaping providing privacy while outdoors. The layout of the 2 houses & bbq area also added to the privacy. It is interesting how the outside is worked into the interior spaces of the house & is quite unique. We loved how close it was to both the beach and several restaurants, all within walking distance. The pool was fantastic, it was great to use this when we needed some downtime, after spending time at the beach or out exploring. We would definitely recommend this property to others. The only drawback for us was the timing - construction of the property was just finishing & we were only able to stay there for the last part of our trip. I am sure there will be a few hiccups to work out in the beginning but the host is very easy to communicate with.
