The place and owners were very accommodating. It was a perfect place for us to stay. It was located only 2 miles from my brother. No traveling thru town. All in the country.

Lovely bungalow in quiet setting. Great if you like being in nature with birds. Only minutes outside of Lawrence. Hosts were wonderful!

Great Place

We had a wonderful stay! The home is so cozy, clean, relaxing, cute and welcoming! We were overwhelmed by the hospitality of the hosts. This is one of our best VRBO experiences we have had!

This was a beautiful property that was perfect for our family. The hosts were so wonderful and had excellent communication throughout our stay, making sure all of our needs were met and adding special snacks just for our family. Such an amazing place that we are definitely going to come back to and recommend to our family and friends.

Phenomenal stay

Great property that is close enough to Lawrence to be convenient, but you feel like you’re getting away from everything too. Everything is well thought out and easy at this property. Very welcoming, comfortable and clean.

We had a great visit in Lawrence for KU family weekend. Allen and Janet were very accommodating, we were able to make our daughter some of her favorite meals. The house was very clean and so comfy. It was nice to be outside of town a bit for the extra relaxing vibe.

Quiet, close to campus

We came for a basketball game and could not have picked a better spot. We were a quick drive to everything in Lawrence while nestled on a quiet, country property. It was a beautiful home with all we needed and more! The holiday touches made it feel like home.

Basketball trip

The house was exactly as advertised and the hosts were extremely attentive and made sure we had all of the information we needed during our stay. They left a cute note for us when we got there and a nice treat.

Perfect Vacation Home

This property was immaculate! The landscaping, cleanliness, design was perfect! A back yard fire pit, zero noise other than Mother Nature (didn’t mention how clean the inside is?) made this stay a perfect stay. Hosts reached out early and made sure we had what we needed. Highly recommended

Perfect country location (so quiet). Very spacious, very, very clean, organized and an absolutely flawless stay front to back. Hosts were.engaging and just flat nice. You would want them as friends and neighbors. It's that simple. Hummingbirds were a bonus.

Home away from home!

I can’t say enough about this cozy home on the outskirts of Lawrence Kansas. Country setting with ALL the comforts of home! Perfectly stocked, extremely clean, super comfortable beds and overall just a wonderful stay for my family and I visiting the area! Communication with the owners was also top notch... A+++ rating and we highly recommend to anyone looking for the comforts of “home”!

Great out of town retreat

We stayed here during our daughter's graduation. It's a great "out of town" property just about 15 minutes from Mass St and campus. It was very clean and well appointed. We had plenty of room to spread out everyone feeling like they had their own space and could come together for meals. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely return.

We could not have asked for a more attentive, service oriented host! Janet & Allen went out of their way to ensure we had everything needed for a memorable time with our family as we celebrated our niece's graduation from KU (just a quick drive away). Our home away from home was peaceful, cozy, very well-stocked, and filled with special touches. The house was even beautifully decorated for the holiday. Absolutely amazing!!!! The host is a very good communicator besides being a kind and generous person. The house was beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and lacking in nothing!!! My daughter and I traveled with my friend, her husband and their 3 kids. The kids loved the basement and the big yard!!! So many memories were made and it was probably the best rental we have ever stayed in! Don’t hesitate to book this one!

Amazing place

The home is absolutely amazing! Beautifully updated and cozy! Great location just outside of town. Quiet yet easy to get into town. The home was meticulously clean and had St. Patrick’s Day decorations that were a great touch! We completely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home for your visit to Lawrence, KS. Hosts are great! Communication was excellent. They truly care about their place and their customers!!!

9th annual girls' Christmas trip

The house was so beautiful, cozy and had everything we needed. The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Janet checked in with us to make sure we had all we needed. Stay for a Basketball Tournament

Wow! I have stayed at many VRBO‘s in the past, and many, which were excellent. This stay topped all of them. The house is extremely clean, and well kept. It was a very cozy, and comfortable. You felt like you could just relax. I was here with my daughter and three of her teammates, and I felt like they were just ready to move in. The hosts were absolutely wonderful to communicate with. If you are ever staying in Lawrence, Kansas, or anywhere around, I would strongly suggest this as a home away from home!

This is our second time at this location for KU Family weekend. We just love it. It’s just outside of Lawrence, easy to get to and super clean. We enjoy getting “out of town” in the evenings for quiet family time. While out in the county a little bit it’s super easy to get anywhere you need to in Lawrence. The hosts are super sweet, accommodating and quick to respond if needed. Thanks for a fun spot that we will stay at again.
