Overview of stay

Only thing I would say I didn’t like, very low water pressure making showering not the most refreshing. Place was clean, beds were super comfortable and kitchen had everything we need to prepare meals.

Everything you need….

Very central to all the UTV trails, literally leave and ride in any direction. House is nice and well equipped. Parking was easy even with our 26’ trailer.

Tackett Creek Sxs Trip

The cabin has all the amenities we were looking for in a cabin. The beds are super comfy, if the septic had been bigger we would have been able to let more people stay with us, which was the only down fall to the 6 person limit. We had to leave two sxs’s on the trail over night and go get them the next day when we were supposed to be checking out. Megan was kind enough to let us check out later than expected so we were able to get cleaned up after going back out and rescuing the sxs’s. We definitely be staying there again in the future.

This cabin is beautiful! Has a very open concept, great appliances, everything you need(or forgot) on hand. I will say we lost cell service but for us it was almost a blessing to be unplugged! The only thing negative i can say is it definitely needs dressers. We were only there for 2 days so it was ok to live out of our suit case but for a longer stay not so much. We hope to eeturn in the future.

Minor/ major final touches

Property is almost ready but not quite... Finish siding/ wood planks on outside and plumbing in bathroom on inside that's all im going to say about that...

Hey Bryan, thanks for the review! You are correct we are not quite finished but the inside is in great condition :) I had a plumber come out, turns out that morning of your departure after a 3 night stay in the home, something was stuck in the pipes which caused it to back up. But it is back to working like it was before. It is unfortunate that after your stay, our kitchen was rearranged and we had 6 towels missing. It is also unfortunate that you have left this review after receiving a refund and reassured me you had an amazing stay. I am glad you guys had a fantastic stay!

Quiet & Cozy

We needed a place to stay on our way back to Ohio from NC, and we needed a couple nights in order to meet up with some friends. At first, we didn’t think we could find something at a reasonable price until onto K&M Retreat. I love the check in process and early check in time plus the hosts were very nice and responsive. There was a very small issue that we communicated about, and they were very responsive and apologetic. Honestly, I booked because of a bad review but more importantly the host’s response. You could tell it was a difficult guest, but the host’s response was the best! I just had to stay! It was clean, cozy, and quiet.
