Perfekt läge!
Logga hem, på norra änden av The Great Sacandaga Lake. Perfekt kombination av lugn / avskildhet med tillgång till Saratoga Springs bara 20 miles away. De 172 meter sjön ligger inbäddat i en lugn och tyst (men inte stillastående) vik som endast används av invånare i viken. De 3 sovrummen är uppbyggda som sviter (perfekt för att hålla en hel familj), alla med eget badrum (varje sovrum har en full eller queen plattform säng plus en tvilling över hela våningssäng). Det finns ett extra badrum i den oavslutade källaren. Solrummet tjänar också som ett potentiellt extra sovrum och har även en helt ny dagbädd med trundeldragning. Varje rum har en flatscreen-TV och hemmet är utrustat med Time Warner-kabel och internet. Verizon Wireless service finns inom närområdet av huset. Faciliteterna inkluderar en tvättmaskin och torktumlare på bottenvåningen. Det finns ingen rökning tillåten inuti hemmet. Tyvärr kan vi inte ta emot husdjur av något slag på grund av husägare allergier.
Vi har bara lagt till central luftkonditionering och ett helt nytt däck utanför solrummet.

This lake house is now our summer getaway!

This is our third year staying at this lake house. We love it! It’s clean, the dock and lake are awesome and it’s so peaceful! It’s very relaxing, I highly recommend staying here!

Great trip again

This is our 2nd year at this rental and it was a great week. The house comfortably fits all of us and the lake/dock area is an awesome place to hang out all day. John is a great host and is easy to get a hold of and keeps you updated.

Excellent location, very relaxing stay.

winter holiday stay

Great place to hang out and enjoy family time, kids had fun inside in the beautiful space, parents enjoyed the fire and making food, all had fun outside, exploring the lake shore in winter, and going to nearby west mountain ski resort for tubing and first time for 3 kids to try snow boarding and all enjoyed tubing there as well

Great 2nd Stay

This was our second stay here and it worked out great. Lot's of beds, great cabin feel, it was clean and didn't have any issues. The lake is beautiful and it's fairly close to a couple towns if you need to grab anything. Definitely recommended.

Winter Trip

This was the second time I had stayed at this house with some friends. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the trees. There are a number of great hikes with waterfalls nearby. Property is in great shape and was perfect for a winter getaway.

Family vacay

Perfect home for a family reunion of 12 people. Short walk to large dock on a lovely, quiet part of the lake. John the host, was always available to answer questions and we were thankful for the backup generator which automatically took over when a storm knocked out the electricity, allowing the fun to continue. Would love to go again!

Loved It!

My wife and I have a cabin 2 miles from this place and we had three of our grown children and their families visit at the same time. Since our place is too small to accommodate this group, I looked for lodging close by. John's log cabin worked out fantastic and ALL had a wonderful time fishing, swimming, and boating from the dock, and sitting by the fire lakeside in the evenings. They also enjoyed the view from the front porch and the overall ambience of the place. Thank you.

Peaceful lake retreat

This property was perfect! Beautiful and well maintained. Spotlessly clean! Be aware of a couple things, the walk between the house and lake is a descent hill, I was definitely in better shape by the end of the week but would be hard for older people. Also the cell booster wasn’t working so when we got there I didn’t have service to access my account on VRBO to get the check in information, make sure you have that information accessible before arrival and the Wi-Fi network name was not accurate in the information provided. Overall everything was great though, just a little blip with checking in! Such a relaxing spot on the lake, the peddle kayak was really cool to have and goes really fast. We really enjoyed our trip!

Beautiful!!

The place is gorgeous. Unobstructed view of the water from the many large windows in the front of house. So big, yet such a cozy feel. John responded immediately for any questions I had. I rented with a couple of friends fto go to 2 concerts nearby. I'm definately going to renting it again with my family just to stay at the property and enjoy the peaceful home, the lake, boats and firepit. So much to do and so comfy,. Highly recommended! A heavenly week

Our experience could not have been better. The house is beautiful, so well equipped with every convenience. It was almost like hanging out in a tree house with the beautiful interior and the trees swaying beyond every window. Sitting down by the fire to look out on the lake was such a relaxing break from the everyday. We made good use of the pedal boat and kayak. This home is located in a wonderful part of the world, with so much to do and explore, but also far enough off the grid for a truly great vacation. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay here !

Beautiful Lakeside Property, Fantastic Owner

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of renting this property from John during the holiday season for ourselves and several friends. John was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with during the rental process, making sure everything was in order. The interior of the house is stunning, and the rooms were exactly as described. Everything was in good working condition. The fireplace was great as well, and we had access to a huge stockpile of firewood and kindling. John made himself available over the course of our stay in the event we had any questions or problems and was a pleasure to work with. Definitely an experience I would recommend!
