Close to hiking spots, great hot tub, very clean but low ceilings steep steps and very small shower

Hot tub was very nice and just two steps out the door. House was very clean and had a lot of kitchen items and bathroom towels were plentiful.

We booked to celebrate our anniversary and to get away from reality for a weekend. Very clean, felt very homey. Hot tub was perfect and clean. Bed was extremely comfy, kinda sad I didn’t see what the brand was lol We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful day at the waterfall cabin. It was clean and the kitchen was well appointed with quality glasses, pans, and utensils. The location was ideal because it was off of any busy roads, but close to all the hikes we wanted to do. The sulfur water smell was not very pleasant, but we had already known about it. About the only negative thing I would say is the ceilings are very low so I think it would be hard for someone tall to stay there! The high steps to the bedroom upstairs were a little challenging for me. We really loved it and would stay there again.

Absolutely amazing cabin that was close to all hiking trails. The hot tub at the end of the night was what was needed for those long hikes.We will definitely be back

Our visit was delightfully relaxing and fun.

We had a great time at the Waterfall Cabin. It is such a beautiful property and very well maintained. We had a bit of a challenge with the hot tub on the first night and they addressed it and we so communicative and helpful. It really made our stay so wonderful. We are already talking about returning again in the future!

It was great but too small for people over 6 foot tall.

It was a cute little cabin. I loved the hot tub and the deck. We really enjoyed our stay. It was everything and more. The only down side was my husband and son ate over 6 foot. The ceilings were very, very low standing in the living room.And in the kitchen between the woodbeams, their heads were touching the ceiling. I would add vervetize the cabin as a tiny home cabin. We laughed about it, had fun with it.And thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a lot of fun exploring the HH area while having a pretty cabin to call home!

Very clean, comfortable and just the right size for a couple and our small dog. The walking trail to the fall was beautiful and maintained well. The amenities of the hot tub and nice deck and porch allowed us to enjoy the quiet of the woods so filled only with bird song!

It was a cool cabin! Felt very authentic! And the waterfall hike was a plus! Although o wish we had known the property boundaries so we could have walked on more of the ‘private trails’. Would definitely recommend.

We had a very nice stay at this cabin! The home is incredibly quaint and sits on a wonderful piece of property. The location was great for seeing all Hocking Hills has to offer, and the hike to the waterfall right on-site was very nice. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub after our adventures.Our dog had a blast running around the property and was very happy with the open space. Just a quick heads-up: the ceilings are a bit low, so if you are over 5'8", we’d recommend not wearing slippers or shoes inside to give yourself a little extra clearance! Overall, a lovely getaway.

Pros: Very, very clean and well kept. The linens, bedding, kitchen appliances and hot tub were in excellent condition, well maintained and very clean. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Nothing damaged or broken. Nice TV with plenty of options. The property was very nicely decorated and the exterior grounds were well kept and maintained. We truly enjoyed how close the distance was to the major trails. Hocking Hills State Park, Old Man’s Cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls and Conkleys were between 6 and 15 minutes away. Cons: If you’re taller than 5’8” beware, the main level has wood log beams every few feet that kept my wife and I ducking as we walked. The shower stall is extremely small. If you’re more than average width, you won’t easily fit or be able to rinse off easily. If you drop something, you need to get out of the shower to pick it up. And the shower head could not be adjusted down enough. Not an enjoyable experience. The steps leading upstairs (no first floor bedroom) are steep and narrow. Navigating at night was a challenge. Finally, the main AC unit was on the ground outside the second floor bedroom window but when it started up in the middle of the night it sounded like it was in bed with up. The sulfur smell wasn’t too bad but we still brought our own bottled water. Overall it was ok. I’d probably not stay there again based on some basic issues that are not easily fixable. (Ceiling height and shower stall size). Hosts were very nice to communicate with.

Great Property!!

The property was wonderful. We brought our two dogs along and they had a blast enjoying the land and the amazing deck! We were surprised by the height of the ceilings and would have likes to have known this in advance but overall it wasnt a huge deal. If youre taller than 6 foot though this would be a big issue. The little hike to the waterfall really made this property something special! Its also super close to all the fun hocking hills has to offer. Highly would recommend!

Quiet Cozy Weekend

Very peaceful stay, secluded and quiet, but only a short 15-20 minute drive to hiking, food, and some shops/antique malls. The cabin was well maintained, clean, and had everything we needed to relax and recharge.
