condo is getting rundown

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this unit for 3 years in a row now and every year its age shows just a little bit more. Last year there was heavy mold in the back bedroom and this year the carpet were filthy. A major water leak in the unit above created rain in this unit, causing the carpets to become saturated in some areas. My hope is they will be replaced soon. Only had 4 forks, but the rest of the kitchen is stocked well. Chairs & couch felt musty.

A relaxing fall break

We loved the property, it’s decor, location, and views. It was very spacious, and having three bathrooms was very nice. I even hosted spaghetti dinner for friends staying at another condo. Party of 14! The only thing I would recommend would be an upgraded matress in the master and living room furniture. Will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at this rental. It was as described, and had a beautiful view of the beach. The beds were comfortable, as was the living room - only minor issues were the carpet was rather stained (although clean), and there were only 4 forks! For a place that sleeps 8, 4 forks isn't really enough :) It was a nice stay for the money, and I would recommend this location. They had it ready early, which was a pleasant surprise! If you're looking for a family location, this is a good place.

Reviewer Comments: Loved the location of this unit however there were some unfortunate issues.CONS:- Although we were warned well in advance, the construction going on during our stay was extremely annoying. They had machines sanding the flooring off the ground on the level above us for two days and then on our floor another day. It was so loud that we couldn't even talk to each other most mornings of our stay. - Found a few stray black hairs that weren't ours around the unit and in some kitchen drawers. - Some of the sinks and the bathtub in the front bedroom would not drain properly and were clogged which was not pleasant.PROS:- We did not have a coffee pot in our room, the booking agency sent us a brand new coffee maker within hours which was much appreciated.- Amazing view of the beach every day from our balcony.- Very seamless check in and check out.I would definitely book through Brooks and Shorey again as the trip was great overall.

There is no texture at all on the steps and I had a good fall when I hit the first step! My foot flew out from under me and I hurt my foot and bruised up my arm which I should have filed a accident report to yhe rental company but forgot! The hot tub is not too great! The view was fantastic and right on the beach! Jellyfish was a problem there but we still enjoyed the beach! This place is a great place to rent from but I will avoid this certain condo # because it was small for 8 people!

Perfect Family Vacation at Island Princess

From booking to checkout everything was perfect. The condo was great and had everything we needed. The view was amazing. We hated to leave!! When visiting the area, we will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here! It was 4 adults and two toddlers, and everyone was happy and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again! Beautiful views and everything we needed for the week.

False advertising

It stated it had just been updated and redone the place was so bad we left and did not stay there it looked like a Crack house the elevators was broke all but 1 with very long lines to even get to the room the toilet was all pulled apart and smelled of sewer there was spare and broken lamps laying on the floor nothing had been updated the furniture was falling apart the sheets was old and yellowing over all the entire building and unit was destusting the place refused to return any of our money thank goodness breath easy rental was able to find us a nice condo last minute and saved our vacation
