Feel immediately at home in this light and bright, immaculate home in historic Barnegat Light. Open concept living and dining areas on the main floor. Updated kitchen with custom cabinetry, granite counters, peninsula with pendant lighting, and a full suite of appliances including convection oven, espresso machine, drip coffee machine, and blender.

First level includes three bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with ensuite bath and double closets, 2 other bedrooms both with twin beds and hallway access to a full bath.

Hardwood runs up the stairway to and throughout the entire upper level.

Second level includes: 1 master bedroom with ensuite bath, 2nd living space with wet bar and pullout platform sofa bed.

Multiple decks throughout the house for the best of outdoor living:
-Deck off of main living room area with seated dining or lounge options
-Back deck shared between first level master suite and back bedroom, with seated dining and hammock
-Enclosed deck on the 2nd level shared between master suite and additional living space with seated dining or lounge options
-Roof deck with ocean and bay views

Additional amenities include beach badges, outdoor shower, washer and dryer, gas grill, beach chairs and toys, foosball table, high chair, and baby gate.

A beach house for family fun

This house is large and very comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen, lots of games. Kids toys and books, plenty of beach accessories. All of the outdoor space was an added plus!

Clean, Comfortable & Convenient!!!

This is our 2nd year staying at this home and we will definitely continue renting every year for years to come! Incredible space for families of all sizes and ages! Kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms and baths have all of the essentials you need - Samantha has thought of everything!! Walking distance to Whites, Viking Village and the 20th Street beach. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Great House

We enjoyed staying at this house very much! Loved sitting out in the comfortable couches on the front deck and the layout of the house was perfect for our family. We loved the upstairs bedroom and sitting room with a TV. It was very quiet and private. The other 3 bedrooms were perfect for my married daughters and their husbands. We had a great week! Although the walk to the beach was a bit far, it was quiet and not crowded. Very peaceful! The owner Samantha, was great to communicate with and helpful when I had questions for her.

We would go back.

This house has so many accommodations for all ages which we appreciated - appliances, games, books, beach chairs/toys/equipment. The layout gave us all plenty of room to spread out. Our host reached out before and at the end of our stay. Very conveniently located to grocery, Viking Village and easy walk to the beach. Would highly recommend this house to families. Clean sheets on beds and towels were helpful. Being located on Central Avenue was not as much of an issue with traffic noise as we thought it would be. We felt the cleanliness of floors and tops of tables, dressers etc throughout was lacking. Floors could have been swept better and kitchen floor spot cleaned. Overall we enjoyed this house very much!

Our family loves coming to Long Beach Island all year round and the kids enjoy the beach immensely no matter the temperature outside.! It's a lovely retreat from busy Brooklyn and we are grateful that we are able to experience beach living so close to NYC and can share that with others.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I particularly like Barnegat Light as it's a little bit more off the beaten path than some of the other towns on Long Beach Island. The beaches are quite breathtaking on this end of the island and come with extensive dunes and greenery that doesn't exist on the other beaches on the island. Even so, you don't have to go far to access excellent restaurants and amenities, most are a short bike ride away.

I love the ability to have indoor/outdoor living throughout our house. And even though the main level is open concept, there are separate spaces carved out across both levels if quiet is what you crave. Additionally, because this is our family retreat during the off season and on weekends, I try to make sure that the house feels like a home -- and that everything needed for comfort and convenience exist at the house especially for families that are choosing to spend a precious week at the beach with their kids.
