Wynwood gave me the run around
The day before check in, I was told that my initial booked apartment (PH2) would not be available for one day due to electrical issues. I was told that I would need to check into a different property for one night then check back into my original booking the next day. I decided to cancel that one night and check in the next day.
Upon checkin, the security told us our apartment was now PH1, not PH2. This was NOT the original apartment I booked in January. We contacted Wynwood and they stated they made an error in their system and my original booking was occupied when I was constantly reassured I would have it. Occupied? What happened to the electrical issues?
The new apartment was NOT clean. We were able to collect piles of dirt, the bed sheets in both rooms were not washed and had clear significant stains on them, one bed had an actual shoe print on it. We had to sleep there because it was already so late in the day. The next day we discovered there was no hot water coming from anywhere. We immediately packed our bags and checked out of the property.
This was the worst start to our stay in Mexico City. Totally unacceptable.
