Great Escape for a Quick Trip

Sands Ocean Club is always a great location for a quick getaway. Unit was very old and dated however we had everything we needed for our short stay. I definitely would do it again!

From booking to check in to check out..... it was Perfect! The place was nice and clean. The host are really nice! They kept in touch before my arrival and as I was checking out they made sure I was good then! I would definitely stay again!!

Overall a great getaway

The owners were great to communicate very well. When we arrived, I walked in to check in, and there were 3 gals at the check in desk just chit chatting with one another. They all looked at me and just kept chatting. No one else was at the desk checking in. Finally after a few minutes, I was called up, the gal was very unprofessional, never explained the parking deck situation or how to get in the lot, where to place our trash, or where any facilities were. The condo was great! Nice and clean, smelled great, large bathroom, and nice sized balcony. I would definitely stay again.

Disappointed

The property looks like it has never been updated. The fridge is completely rusted on the outside. The cabinet doors are falling off. The bed was very uncomfortable. The owner wanted the dishwasher run but left no detergent. They also didn't leave any toilet paper in the room. The price was very reasonable but not worth it. The reception on the tv was terrible. Most channels were unwatchable. The location was the best part of my stay.

I was pleased with the process and with the Property owner Jeff was awesome to work with. I was a little disappointed when we got there that the room wasn't as clean as it should have been. The stove was so nasty that it hadn't been wiped off crumbs all over, the Fridge had food left in it and we had to clean it out before we could put our stuff in it and the pots and pans were gross (I wouldn't use them except one). I was so excited to sit on the balcony which only had 1 chair and drink my coffe early in the morning but the coffee pot was disgusting so that didn't happen. The closet only has one door and the ironing board is so rusted it wouldn't close so we couldn't put anything in there to give us more room. The kitchen needs a whole new update. There was no toilet tissue no trash bags and no dishwasher soap. I think if things were to be updated I would consider staying again but not with the way they are now. The cleaning lady needs retrained on how to clean.

Great Location

First I would like to say we enjoyed our stay in Myrtle Beach very much. This location was perfect for us. Pools were great but got crowded around lunchtime. Beach and ocean were perfect. There was excellant live music poolside every day. The only down part was the room definately needed updating. Very old kitchen stove and oven. Bathroom also in need of updating. But we spent little time in the room as this was our first trip to the area and there is so much to do.

Nice and basic.

It was in a great location and easy to get around. Nothing fancy but it met all of our needs. I wasn't impressed with the cleaning before our arrival. There were "hairs" on the bathroom floor, a used water bottle on the balcony and a pill on the floor which could have been detrimental had a toddler been staying with us.

Perfect Place if you're on a budget

What you see is what you get. Very "hotel" style but it has a kitchen. We were able to cook meals and breakfast with the kitchen. Limited pots, pans, and cooking essentials. Would have been nice to know we needed to bring our own paper towels, toilet paper etc. Bring extra towels. Room was clean enough but its not like the cleaning lady does a thorough clean. Like i said, if you're on a budget and just need a place to sleep each night then this is the place for you. I would come back again if my budget stays the same for my next trip here.

Great stay!!!!!

The room was dated, but it was clean and comfortable. It had all the basics needed for a short stay in Myrtle Beach. The owner was extremely easy to work with and booking this condo was quick and easy. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The resort property was great! There is so much to do at this resort. It must be so much fun in the summer. It is also well kept and clean. I highly recommend staying here!!!!
