Beautiful!

This condo is just gorgeous, even more beautiful than the pictures! We loved the pool area- had it to ourselves most of the time. Watching the sun rise over the mountains was mesmerizing. Enjoyed walking around the neighborhood- great restaurants, especially the small local ones, but all of those we tried were very good. Never felt unsafe walking around at night. We will definitely stay here again if we come to PV.

Very nice new apartment

A nice new apartment which was decorated well and had a completely supplied kitchen. I would have easily given this a 5 rating, but for 2 issues, with one being out of the owner’s control. 1) the new elevator was not working for 3 1/2 days. I was there with my son for 2 1/2 weeks at a Lyme clinic. He’s disabled and couldn’t walk and had to miss treats for that time as he didn’t leave our apartment. Totally out of the owner’s control. 2) the flapper in the one of the toilets broke and we had communication issues and didn’t get it fixed for 4 days. Partially my fault as my phone couldn’t call the owner and the 2 times the maintenance guy came, we locked the door as we were at the clinic. My son had a fortune in medical devices and medication and wanted no one there without us being present. Not an end of the world issue, but like the elevator, frustrating. It truly is a first class apartment and building with a great top floor with pool, workout room and beautiful views. The 3 doormen were awesome and very helpful, plus spoke good English. I would stay there again.

Do not stay here

I will start by saying, the condo itself is not the issue. It is lovely. The issue is the owner/host. The issues are: the front desk was not made aware of our arrival. We were left to frantically call VRBO and the host, not knowing if we had a place to stay. When the host did call it was from a number that came up SPAM. We were advised by the front desk that the same issue arose with the prior guests. We were not provided with the code to get into the building as a whole. If there was nobody at the front desk, we were locked out. We only received one key for the suite. That is a real safety concern because if the door is locked from the outside by one of the guests. The remaining guest is locked inside the suite. There is no way to unlock the door from the inside. The was no manual or any information on the wifi code, the air conditioning system, what to do with garbage, etc. There is a tv - but no tv sevice. No channels at all. I was told the host was inexperienced, so I contacted him about my concerns. In response: he threatened to rescind the 5 star rating he had given us as guests, stated that hotels also take hours to check people in and that next time we should stay in a hotel, that he was new and we were only the second guests, which he later contradicted by saying that he had 5 prior bookings that were very happy, that VRBO agreed with him about the issues. I asked for proof, it was not given.

It’s a new building, our unit is a corner unit with great views to the neighborhood. We have a beautiful roof top with awesome views to the city, mountains, and ocean.
