Uinta Lodge är en 1900 SF hem bekväm för dem med barn som vill åka skidor tillbaka till huset för lunch eller uppvärmning. Många tycker det är så bekvämt att de har svårt att göra det tillbaka till backarna. Det fullt utrustade köket har en bar för servering snabbt och ett matsal med plats för upp till 9 för en mer formell atmosfär. Inredningen ger komforten i en bergsinställning. Med de flesta golvmattad kan man sätta sig bekvämt i strumpfot. Vardagsrummet är öppet från köket och har en stor vedspis för dem som söker lukt av tall. Djupa soffor och en stor platt-TV i vardagsrummet är varför utomhus verkar mindre lockande för både barn och vuxna. Venturing ut kan helt enkelt innebära en resa till den stora badtunnan på den privata däcken. Det finns också gott om utomhusutrymme att spela och gräva fort. Skidåkning ligger bara några steg upp vägen med tillgång till Great Western fyrhjuling. Fyra sovrum och två badrum ligger på bottenvåningen som sover upp till 11 (inklusive futon soffan i fjärde sovrummet). Det bifogade garaget ger enkel tillgång från utsidan för mat och redskap. We have made a new family tradition of booking a cabin somewhere between Brighton and Sundance each summer to escape the St. George heat, and this was the first time at this particular cabin. Meridy (from the property management) was always responsive and helpful with all of my questions. It was a great find as It's both rustic and comforting, rather than modern and sleek. It felt more isolated and quiet than I expected, which was a bonus, and we loved the proximity to some of our favorite trails. It's a beautiful setting, surrounded by Quaking Aspens and pine trees. We especially loved the large stone fireplace and fully stocked firewood. I only wish we had booked more nights. I would definitely recommend and we intend to book this cabin again!

Great lodge walking distance to great western lift

Super place to go to if you want to be walking distance to Brighton as there are few options like this. Would come again.

Great Stay at Brighton

The property was outstanding. Plenty of room for our three families, location for Brighton was perfect. Communication was outstanding. I definitely recommend this location.

Nice family weekend

Proper was just as pictured. Dated but clean and everyone had a space to chill.I have never been contacted so much by management though during a VRBO stay.

The perfect place for a relaxing winter getaway. I don’t ski and I had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and cooking for the boys while they hit the slopes.

We would like to apologize; there has been an insane amount of snow this year, and it has been causing issues at many homes. Although we are thrilled that our guests have such an amazing snow year, its causing us maintenance issues we are taking care of as quickly as possible.

So comfortable, so secluded, we loved the hot tub and gathering around the fireplace. Everything we needed was there. Close to the lake for gentle walking. We would do this again and again.

Perfect Roomy Winter Cabin!

The cabin was large and clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was just the right temperature and was cool to relax and watch the snowcats do there thing at night. The property management company was very accommodating and if I could give 10 stars I would. We will absolutely be back and thank you for a great trip!!

Very roomy, comfortable and greatly situated close to both Brighton and Solitude. Carole and her team were a pleasure to work with and the place was well tended to during our stay, including someone coming to check the hot tub every few days. Our stay couldn't have been better. Just be sure to rent a 4x4 or you may have a little trouble getting stuck coming up the driveway ;-)

Suggestions

The only problem we had was with the oven. It seems like a new style but the are no instructions for operating it. We put food in to warm for a meal we hosted for the wedding party but it automatically turns off and the food was cold. Everything else was good.

The Perfect Snowy Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very impressed by the Uinta cabin! It easily accommodated our large family of 10! The cupboards were well stocked and the kitchen was well laid out to cook and still be part of the family! We spent a lot of time on the deck in the hot tub and cozied around the huge fireplace playing games! The management staff were wonderful and were there to help or bring anything we needed, fortunately for us, we didn’t need anything! The driveway was shoveled and blown daily, making it easily accessible for vehicles! We were beyond impressed and will definitely be back again!

About as close to SISO as you can get at Brighton

Very cozy lodge. Listing as described. If you are going during the snowing season, please please please believe them when they say you need a 4x4 or AWD vehicle with snow tires. The neighborhood is remote and plows simply can't keep up with all the great snow you're going to get at Brighton. Also during the winter, definitely plan on not going back down to the city much once you're up here in the canyon: the canyon road traffic gets very congested each evening. But that's the whole reason you're staying here: to avoid all the traffic getting up here each day and to beat everyone to the slopes each morning. It's great.

Spring break ski trip

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was good location at Brighton. The reason we rented it was because of the ski in/ski out option. The problem is that it wasn’t what we expected. You had to walk a distance which is not clearly marked and need to do black runs to get to the chair lift. Great for experienced skiers but not for beginner/intermediate skiers. The cabin is cozy but spending a little bit on better mattresses, blankets, sheets, pillows, maybe new kitchenware and a new charge to replace the broken one. Also there is a foot massager out for use which shocked my son when trying to use it. Small changes would easily increase my rating to 4.5 stars.

Thanks for your review and suggestions, they are much appreciated:) We apologize that the ski-in/-out option misled you for beginning or intermediate skiers, being surprised with a black run is never good, especially if you had to walk to get there! There are a couple other ski-in/-out options with easier access through Cottonwood Lodging Company if you're interested in checking them out, we'd love to have you book with us!

Christmas Break Skiing

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was in a good location for skiing at Brighton. We were able to walk 200-300 yards to the access for the slope. Had to use a neighbors driveway that was posted as no trespassing. Not sure if management has worked this out with the homeowner. Cabin was not in good repair. Several rooms lacked heat and we used space heaters provided. 4th bedroom was a finished porch and access was awkward. Lack of hot water was an issue. We were 6 men so women would have a bigger problem. Overall condition of cabin was rough and it appeared that repairs/construction was ongoing. Not a bad place to stay but for the money much more was expected.
