Our studio apartment located in the historical Argonne building is in the heart of downtown Des Moines! This place is stocked with the necessities to make for an enjoyable stay! Amenities include elevator, wifi, secured building, smart TV, and your own washer and dryer. Located across from the Sculpture Park, walking distance to all the amazing restaurants on Ingersoll, Confluence and Big Grove Brewery are just steps away - enjoy everything downtown has to offer!

Even an eclectic Consignment shop located right in the building! Big Grove Brewery & Confluence Brewery just a few blocks away!

Getting around couldn't be easier. Whether you prefer exploring the city by foot, bike or ride share, your in the center of it all! Great public transit, bike lanes, even sky walks to avoid bad weather!

The Argonne building is in a great spot downtown at the end of Grand. Close enough to the night lift, but far enough and quiet enough to relax and unwind. PERFECT spot for traveling medical professionals - 5-7 minutes to all the downtown hospitals. Also blocks away from Gateway Park - where multiple DSM festivals are held.

Disappointed

The place was convenient but that was the only good part of it. I have pictures of the room which was suppose to be a 1 bedroom yet it was a studio. The bed was horrible. The bed was two portable beds put together that every time I moved it squeaked and moaned. The floor creaked on every step throughout the place. The bathroom shower was dingy along with the floor. I was afraid to walk around barefoot. The linen was dirty in the cabinet and also the towels were thin and ready to be used as rags. Not what I was expecting and definitely not something I would recommend. Also the room had a weird smell like it was closed up but someone had a bright idea to burn incense which also stunk. I made sure to stay away until I was ready to pass out and then get up early to leave for the entire day. Very disappointed and I will not be recommending this location to anyone I love or care about. I took pictures but unfortunately you don’t have a place for me to attach them.
