Det finns 5 stugor som ingår i denna lista och eftersom kalendern bara tillåter en bokning åt gången så skicka mig ett e-postmeddelande för att försäkra att det datum du vill ha är tillgängligt. Under månaderna juli och augusti, vid påsk och jul / nyår kräver vi en vistelse på 7 nätter, men resten av året är du välkommen att komma för bara helgen!

Dessa underbart rymliga fritidshus är möblerade och inredda till mycket hög standard.

Varje stuga har plats för upp till 9 personer i både stil och komfort. Det finns fyra vackert dekorerade sovrum - två dubbelsängar och två tvillingar, en utklappssäng som kan användas i de gemensamma områdena. Bottenvåningens öppna planyta består av ett fullt utrustat modernt kök, en stor matplats och ett fantastiskt vinterträdgård. På första våningen finns ett vackert dekorerat och möblerat vardagsrum.
Inom den avgränsade marken finns det en inomhus lekplats, en utomhus lekplats. Den prisbelönta XL praktiska butiken och off-licens är precis intill.
Portsalons underbara blå flaggstrand ligger mindre än 5 minuters promenad från stugorna. Ytterligare 5 minuters promenad tar dig till ingången till golflänkarna. Portsalon Golf Club har omarbetats omfattande under de senaste åren och är nu en av de finaste länkkurserna i Donegal.
Byn Portsalon själv ligger på Fanadhalvön. Knockalla kustväg erbjuder en spektakulär enhet med utsikt över Lough Swilly och Inishowen. Fanad Peninsula Scenic Tour är en 72 km skyltad krets på halvön genom hisnande landskap.
För en semesterupplevelse där en fantastisk strand, en utmärkt golfbana och vacker natur ligger precis utanför dörren, letar du inte längre än dessa underbara fritidshus i den vackra byn Portsalon.

Ett ord om WIFI: På grund av vår avlägsna plats kan vi inte erbjuda tillförlitlig internetuppkoppling. De flesta av våra gäster ser detta som en funktion som håller barnen utanför sina skärmar under semestern! Men om du behöver internetuppkoppling finns det gratis wifi i den lokala puben och golfbanaloungen.

Put off

I was disappointed as we couldn't use the shower as the water was either too hot or too cold. We didn't use the bath tub as water was cold. There were dead flies every where and cob webs. We paid a service fee but had to clean up properly before we left even remove bed linen. I found dead insects upon removal of my bed sheet

Great for families but property needs a bit of attention.

House was pretty basic and needed a lot of TLC but it a great size and location and brilliant having a children's playroom with soft play and lots of toys. The picture in the photo is not the house we stayed in which is a bit misleading.

Relax by the sea

Very relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable stay. This is a beautiful cottage with everything we needed for our stay. The host was very pleasant and very helpful when we met her but as ardglass cottages are situatedover two sites it took us an hour to realise this as our Google maps

Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, alles erforderliche war vorhanden. Unglaublich schöne Umgebung, die Lage etwas erhöht und mit Blick aufs Meer. Von den Verwaltern gab es Tipps zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider war der Aufenthalt mit einer Woche viel zu kurz! Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Family Break.

The property was perfect for our stay. Spacious and well equipped. The location was ideal with an excellent beach right on our doorstep. Perfect for a family holiday. Nice place to stay

House was spacious and there was both and outdoor and indoor play area for the children on site. 10 minute walk to the beach. It was as advertised with the addition of basics already in the house. Would recommend it.

Very lovely part of the world and great site

Lovely property. Great kitchen and conservatory that we thoroughly enjoyed in the long light evenings. Our friends next door had no heating upstairs which would have improved things for them . Some weak showers . The en-suite shower amazing so we all ended up using it . Overall we had a great stay.

location was perfect, house has everything you would need, from meeting Annette to departing was brilliant, only thing that could make the stay would be wifi, we were so fortunate to have fantastic weather, but if the weather had been bad in the evening wifi would be great especially for the youngsters. all in all great place we will be bacck.

Would highly recommend Ardglass cottages

My self, my husband and 2 other couples along with our three 18 month old toddlers stayed in cottage 3 and it was perfect. Lots of space for the children to play, stair gates provided, and We had all the amenities we needed (kitchen equipment, towels etc). The location is the main attraction with it being so close to the beautiful PortSalon beach. We Would definitely return to to Ardglass Cottages in the future.

Great stay but communication lacking

We had booked a 3 night short break away for my young family. I specifically picked Ardglass Cottages because the area in the photographs looks very secure behind the security gates and other reviewers spoke of being able to let their children out to the play area which was adjacent to the houses in the picture. Initial communication with Marlene/Annette was fantastic, they helped me sort out a booking error I made and all was great. Closer to our trip I saw a review of the property in German which stated disappointment at not staying in the houses pictured. This reviewer mentioned two houses beside the road. I then emailed the owners wanting to double check that we were in the houses as shown in the photo as my reason for booking was because I wanted the security gates and to be able to let my young daughter play on the swings while still being able to see her. I received no reply. I then phoned the numbers listed for Annette, Marlene and the two caretakers listed for the property. The only reply I got was from a lady called Elizabeth who said herself and her mother no longer look after the property. I still have not received a reply to my call or email from the owners. When we arrived the lady in the adjoining shop was a fantastic help. She gave me the key and the number of the new caretaker should we need anything. Our house (no.4) was not one in the picture as feared. It was a lovely house and close to the shop but the electric gates were broken so no security to let my daughter out at all. The swings were up steep steps to the other houses (in the online picture) so we couldn’t let her go there unaccompanied either. We had a lovely stay in Portsalon and I do not mean to sound overly negative. The houses are a great size but as people who have been renting holiday houses around Ireland for over 10 years with my wider family, there are a few improvements which could be made - there was no welcome information on the area, where to eat (would recommend Ripples in Kerrykeel and The Pier in Portsalon) etc and the workings of the house (it took a little search to figure out which switch turns on the dishwasher- it’s the one over beside the toaster). I didn’t care about WiFi but it certainly wouldn’t take much to run the cable from the TV upstairs to the dvd-only TV downstairs. Would be very handy for a big group. A lovely house, you won’t be disappointed but TLC needed to make it more homely. Contact details also need to be updated.

Great self catering for large group/family get together

Spent the bank holiday weekend with all the family (16 + baby) fantastic facilities with everything included and thought off in terms of the facilities. Even a gas BBQ ! Each house sleeps 8 comfortably with a camp bed for another person (9) and a travel cot. Secure with electric gates, so ideal for small kids to play and run around safely. Highly recommend it. Only down side ...it is 1km away from the beach, which is a short walk but with small kids, not ideal. ( busy enough road) But not the end of the world to drive down. Fabulous safe beach ... kids and adults had a ball !

We had a lovely holiday, perfect place for the grandchildren.

The property was well equipped and very clean. In a perfect location and secure for the grandchildren to play with the wee playpark. Convenient to the beach and a well stocked shop on site. A few wee improvements I feel could improve the property. The TVs are very dated and more like a portable tv. The tv in the sunroom doesn’t actually work which would have been handy for the kiddies while we cooked in the kitchen.I understand you don’t go on holiday to watch tv but I feel they are outdated. The CD player didn’t work. Only one shower and one one bath. 6 adults using one shower wasn’t ideal. Also a very small garden table with 4 chairs tho the property sleeps 8. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and the kids really enjoyed it. Portsalon is a lovely place with a beautiful beach.

Perfect for us as we are golfers, and the property is 10 minutes walk to the golf course and the beach. Very spacious. Just need to remember to put the immersion heater on.

Magnifique maison avec toutes les prestations de grande qualité

Le wifi ne fonctionne pas du tout, c'est dommageable lorsqu'on recherche des informations... Sinon tout était parfait, propreté, maison immense et 3 salles de bains, 2 salons.....

Very nice house with view to the sea

We spent 1 week in this house. It's in a secure area of 3 houses with foot access to games for kids and a little shop. The house is comfortable. We had only problems with the Wifi which was not working and the 2nd toilet was not working as well. The house is a 15 min walk to the beach and a pub / restaurant.

very good

Very spacious. There was 9 of us in 1 house and we never once felt cramped. The grounds the properties are on is fantastic loads of room for the kids to run about and never had to worry because of the electric gates. The house is brilliant but the only thing i would say would be the sofas in the conservatory could do with updating aswell as the play park but it wouldnt put us of going back again. The view from the house was amazing and so close to the beach. Overall a brilliant holiday :-)

Fantastic!!

These cottages were fantastic, great location and surroundings, the children loved the play park which is on the grounds also, so they were safe within the complex. Our party was 17 adults and 14 children and there was more than enough room for all of us, within the house and on the grounds also. Would definitely stay here again!!!! Brilliant weekend, with family :-)
