Bison Hollow Hideaway is located by Queer Creek on the back side of 178 acres of Bison Hollow Nature Preserve with steep-walled black hand stone gorge with numberous picturesque rock outcrops and waterfalls. Incredible property/location to explore. Only 3 minutes from Ash Cave and many other attractions! . Features 3 private bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, a very small central room with TV/DVD player, seating area, full refrigerator with half kitchen, outdoor screened porch for a perfect eating area. Enjoy and relax by the fire pit outisde or warm up in the hot tub underneath the stars.
Bison Hollow Hideaway is located on the Bison Hollow Preserve with a total of 660 acres that features a narrow, steep-walled Black Hand sandstone gorge with numerous picturesque rock outcrops and waterfalls. Inside the cabin features 3 private queen bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a small kitchen/seating area, TV/DVD area, a telephone with long distance calling in the US, fully stocked with paper products, linens, towels, and kitchen supplies. Outdoors features spectacular views, small beach area, hot tub, propane grill, fire ring, and a screened in front porch for outdoor eating or entertainment.

Bison Hollow - great stay

Very comfortable place. Perfect size for us and secluded. Phone connection is bad but it was nice to it have it for a couple days!

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful property

Loved the small waterfalls within walking distance. Hot tub was very nice and worked well. Wish there was back door access to the hot tub and I didn’t have to walk around the house to use it.

Awesome hideaway

Had a blast with family exploring the grounds and chilling out inside this cozy bungalow. Hot tubbing under the stars was a great memory for us.

Beautiful property

An absolutely beautiful cabin and even better property. Amazing cliffs along the short road to the property and I found at least 3 waterfalls within a half mile of the cabin. The only downside was that there wasn’t a door to the back patio hot tub, which required walking around the cabin to access and a pest control company waking me up from a nap Saturday afternoon. I will gladly return to this cabin.

Nice little place

Couldn't use the bottom of fridge. Some type of moldy petrified something from a previous person. DVD player wouldn't read any of the DVDs. Had to move one of the couch cushions and found a lot of crumbs and chips from someone else. No dish soap to do the dishes. Other than that is was a great places. Very close to all the caves and waterfalls. Easy enough to find.

It was nice but the trash had moldy coffee in it at the bottom.

Loved the scenery and had a hot tub. Wished it had a bigger TV and better entertainment since there was no signal at all.

Romantic

Make sure you understand that there is no wifi. AT&T got 1 bar intermittently, but Verizon never had coverage.so, cell phone use was out except for texting on AT&T. Cabin was very clean but had air gaps around all of the windows and doors. If you have allergies in the summertime this may be an issue, But for us it was fine. Cooking utensils and coffee pot on premises. Did not use grill, but it was there. We did use the fire pit but because of the location it made the smoke swirl back at you. The hot tub was fine. Beds are full size, not queens, so plan accordingly. Over all it was a great stay but has some limitations.

We had an amazing time but really wish there would’ve been a full-size couch for everyone to sit on.

Glamping!!

Property is much better than listed. Two full bathrooms, three large bedrooms and a full kitchen. Seems to be newly remodeled. Beautiful place. Very secluded.

I loved the little cabin feel. The smell of natural wood upon entering each day was great. I thought it was so far off 'the beaten path' because I arrived at night, but in the day light it was perfect and gave us the adventure/camping feel we wanted. The cabinets were fully stocked with dishes, the number of towels was perfect. The beds were creaky and the ceiling fan in the room with the blue quilt was squeaky. The rest of our stay was amazing. Thank you so much. Definitely

Absolutely loved staying here.

No one around, my kids loved running around and being loud and it didn't bother anyone. This made it relaxing for me I didn't have to tell them to tone it down. The deer coming around was cool. No wifi and no cell service was fine other than when trying to find directions. The kids could not stay out of the hot tub which was fine bc I felt the same way. Loved even with being in a forest area there were not issues with bugs attacking us. Loved using the fire pit to cook breakfast and dinner.

Better than expected

We did not want to leave. The kids loved the hot tub. I enjoyed cooking almost all our meals over the fire. We all enjoyed playing cards on the porch. It was so quiet and cozey. I loved that the kids could run around and with it being secluded if they ran in the drive way it was not something i had to worry about. The seanary was amazing all hours of the day. I did not like not having wifi though. I was trying to find directions and i could only do that while driving around Hocking hills in some spots. Thats the only reason why i was upset with no wifi, it was nice for the kids not to be able to be on the phones.

No internet, no TV, no cell service. Friend was sitting on couch and was stung on the neck by a wasp, next day we saw several Hornets/bees crawling around the window behind the couch. We had no way to contact manager (talked to them the next day as we were leaving a day earlier. She said you should have called them and they would have sent someone. NO Cell Service, No internet how could I contact them. Pretty much blew it off If you like camping maybe this would be a step up I have photos if i can get them uploaded
