Välkommen till Peacock! En härlig gäst stuga i en vacker miljö med tennisbana och pool. Platsen är bekvämt beläget nära Delta attraktioner. Vi är 20 minuter från Cleveland, MS 30 minuter från Greenville, MS 40 minuter från Greenwood och 15 minuter från Indianola. Vi är en timme söder om Clarksdale. Platsen är privat, säker och till skillnad från alla andra platser i Mississippi Delta. Stugan har en skärmad veranda och en veranda med utsikt över en härlig betesmark. Tennisbana och pool ligger bekvämt intill stugan. Sovrummet har två dubbelsängar. Ett litet kylskåp finns i stugan.
Delta erbjuder en unik kulturupplevelse - den plats där bluesen föddes och kulturattraktioner som BB King Museum ligger i närheten.

This is the perfect spot to shut off the phone, find a chair and drink in the quiet. Pairs well with a book or a guitar. Will definitely visit again!

Peacock cottage

Visiting from Hilton Head, SC for family reunion. This place was a breath of fresh air and just the unplug and recharge that was desperately needed. Natural and comfortable with everything we needed. My daughter says she wants to come back and "vacation" here, which is funny considering where we live.

Peaceful stay

We had a wonderful time at the Peacock in the Delta! Secluded and quiet, just like we wanted. A step back in time relaxing on the screened in porch right by the blooming Mississippi Magnolia tree. The amenities were wonderful for our daughter. She loved the tennis court, pool and tree swing. Lars was a great host who checked on us daily and was also quick to answer any questions before we arrived and even during our stay. We loved the furry friends as well. Highly recommend!

Would not return

The cabin is just as pictured. The host was nice and greeted me when I got there. Issues w/the cabin were hard beds, lighting inadequate (bulbs out), no blinds on the door or windows facing front, which made me uncomfortable and kitchen loaded w/fruit flies. Muddy dogs jumping all over me wasn't fun. They're sweet, but out of control and run loose. Very picturesque and quiet, but not for me.

Perfect getaway

Wonderful little cottage, just right for 2 people. The kitchen is small but serviceable, we ate most of our meals there. There's no freezer, but we brought an ice chest with us and ice is crazy cheap at the ice house in Cleveland. We visited Clarksdale, Cleveland, Leland, Greenville and Indianola (some terrific music museums!!) - Shaw is in the middle of them all. Lars is an attentive host and the private pool was a fantastic wrap up to every day. Highly recommend!

We love the Peacock!!!

This is our 2nd summer to spend a weekend at the Peacock. My boys are 6 and 9 and they just love this little cabin and pool. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Lars and his wife are really friendly. It rained the Saturday morning we were there and it was so nice to sit on the back porch drinking coffee and watching the rain. Honestly I wish I was still there instead of at work this morning. Haha

Great country setting

I had five nights to enjoy this pleasant cottage in a quiet setting on a plantation. It's located in the middle of the Mississippi Delta. The cottage is charming, clean, and privately located. The owner, Lars, could not be more accommodating. A great getaway for a couple or a young family.

Friend getaway

Me and some friends stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed the place!! It was so quaint and cute! Perfect place to getaway and do some small town shopping. Everything was amazing and we will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect Quick Getaway

My friends and I needed a short break from work and regular life, and found this gem in Mississippi. We only got to stay one night due to work requirements, but when Lars tells you people prefer two nights, I can nowunderstand why! After one night we have all agreed we need more in the future. This cottage/cabin is set on private farm property, and is the perfect getaway if you want to disconnect. While there is a TV, we preferred to sit outside by the fire pit the entire evening, thank you Lars for helping us get the fire going! The back porch overlooking a field with hayrolls was the perfect spot to sit with a cup of coffee and wake up. And who can write a review without including River, the cutest little pup that lives on the property! He was so sweet, he spent the entire evening outside with us before being called into the main house for bed ♡ We cannot wait to come back to enjoy the peace and solitude!

Perfect peaceful weekend getaway

This property was as expected from the description. Simple, appealing and all the essentials. Beds were comfortable along with the two cozy chairs. Pool was clean and so nice for these hot afternoons. Lars was responsive with any questions or needs. Be sure to contact Archie for a wonderful horseback riding experience. Great for inexperienced riders and children! Archie was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and safe. My grandsons thought it was the best weekend ever!

Just what we needed!!!!

We had the best weekend. The cottage is adorable and it was so fun having a pool all to ourselves. My family (husband, two boys 5 and 8) really needed to get away since we have been stuck at home since March. Lars was great and invited us to explore the trails which we loved. My boys even learned to swim over the weekend!!!! We will be back and may just start coming every year.
