Wonderful

We would stay at the cabin every weekend if we could! Very cozy, inviting and…. Quiet! This is our second stay and not only do we adore the cabin but the host is wonderful as well!

Picturesque cabin

Loved our stay. The location is gorgeous and an easy drive to both Boone and W. Jefferson. Cabin had everything we needed. We were there for a football game but was hard to leave the peacefulness of the cabin.

Great mountain getaway

The cabin was beautiful and we had a very comfortable stay. This is a true cabin and it is well stocked. The property is beautiful and private. We have friends in the area and we would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here, as did our dogs! The cabin is on a beautiful piece of land off the beaten path, which made it peaceful and relaxing. The owner provides many nice touches to make it feel like home away from home. Close enough to Boone/Blowing Rock to enjoy that area as well. We had a great time!

Great venue and very dog friendly.

Descriptions are accurate and it's a great cabin located in very quiet area yet close to everything West Jefferson, Boone, blowing rock, etc have to offer. Cabin was clean and very well stocked. Thoroughly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace...made it very cozy on cool nights. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Short escape

This was a wonderful escape for my daughters and doggies. The place was comfy and they provided everything we needed plus more. We only used the microwave so not sure about other appliances. The wood burning fireplace was most definitely the most used accommodation and it was awesome. Definitely will use again if we go back to Jefferson.

Adventure

Loved the cabin and the privacy of the property. However as a pet owner myself I think previous tenants should have cleaned better from their pets. Still loved the cabin. Would have liked to have known how steep the road was. We did not have a 4 wheel drive, so it was a challenge to get out the drive to main road. Jeff answered every question we had and was very prompt. Family said great memories on an adventure. Loved it. I would have given a higher rating but the drive was a definite challenge for us.

Love this property

My husband and I stayed here last year to celebrate our anniversary and decided to return again this year. We absolutely adore this home. It is exactly what you would picture when you think of a cozy, mountain cabin in the woods. The home is clean and well-stocked - we especially appreciate the ample amount of firewood. The surrounding 6.5 acres of woods are so beautiful and peaceful and we love the hiking trail that loops around the property. The host is super friendly and very responsive to any questions. If we could give this more than 5 stars we would!!

Great find

Wonderful, cozy cabin in the woods. We felt secluded. Property was quiet with no traffic to be heard. Trails around the property are a good outside getaway. Kitchen well stocked. Wood provided by owner is a big plus!. It’s hard to travel with wood… Woodburning fireplace in living room is super cozy. All in all a wonderful getaway from the world. Gas grill outside worked well. Overall A+.

Fabulous as always!

This was our third visit and we love it more each time. Quiet, clean and secluded. We had a fire every day and just relaxed. Kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need and we loved watching the birds at the feeder every day. Thank you Jeffrey, for a wonderful vacation!

Cozy and Tranquil

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cabin. It felt so remote and peaceful. Loved the cooler evenings in front of the firepit. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable with plenty of room. It was a wonderful getaway and perfect spot to unplug!

Slice of Heaven

We stayed in the Cabin for parent weekend at ASU. Two of our daughters are students there. It was the perfect location. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. We loved the trails. Because of the rain, we could not use the hammock, swings, or fire pit, but it was so cozy inside the cabin that we did not mind. We were able to bring our dogs, which made it the perfect place for our family. We will definitely return!
