CASA CENAMI är idealiskt beläget i hjärtat av Luccas historiska centrum. Stig utanför ytterdörren och på mindre än en minut dricker du en cappuccino i Piazza San Michele, fönsterhandlar på den snygga Via Fillungo, smutar vin i anfiteatro från 2000-talet f.Kr., lyssnar på nattliga opera-arier, stirrar på den slående gyllene mosaikfasaden på San Frediano, fotografera panoramik ovanpå Guinigi-tornet, glädje över smaken av de otaliga underbara Lucca-restaurangerna, eller ta en eftermiddagspromenad, cykeltur eller jogga runt 1500-talets väggar som omger Luccas centro storico. I slutet av dagen, gå tillbaka till komforten i Casa Cenami där de tjocka väggarna håller det svalt på sommaren och varmt på vintern.

Vår lägenhet är en tvåvånings lägenhet på andra våningen i en historisk, välskött byggnad. Alla charm från tidigare århundraden: takbjälkar; handgjorda Lucca-golvplattor som har underhållits men kombinerats med modern komfort och bekvämlighet. Vi erbjuder gratis trådlöst så att du kan dela dina erfarenheter med vänner och familj hemma. Ytterligare ett badrum med dusch lades upp på övervåningen 2011 för att tillåta ett badrum och dusch för varje sovrum. Lägenheten är idealisk för 2 par. Ett gourmet, fullt utrustat kök med gasspis gör att du kan prova lokala produkter och produkter. De två sovrummen har båda en queen size-säng och en liten enkelsäng ligger utanför övervåningen. Antikviteter som vi köpte från Luccas månatliga antikmarknad utanför vår ytterdörr pryder utrymmet, men bekväma soffor möjliggör tyst eftermiddagslappar. Det finns en tvättmaskin, strykjärn och strykbräda på övervåningen. Alla sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls. Dessutom erbjuder vi två cyklar för att utforska de allierade vägarna och väggarna i Lucca.

CASA CENAMI möjliggör oändliga dagsturer. Ta tåget, buss eller köra till kustnära Cinque Terre, det lutande tornet i Pisa, marmorns gruvmekka Pietrasanta, paliohästkapplöpningarna i Siena eller andra toskanska sluttningar i bergssluttningen, miles av vin- och olivoljevägar och Florens är bara 45 minuter köra iväg.

Att komma till Lucca är enkelt. Flyg direkt från USA till Pisa. Fånga en 25 min buss som går direkt från Pisa flygplats inuti väggarna i Lucca. Sedan är du hemma inom en 5 minuters promenad. Eller flyga till Florens och ta buss eller tåg till Lucca - transporten här är lätt.

Det finns en städ- och hälsningsavgift på 80 euro som betalas kontant i euro till vår huschef Eva. Alla andra kostnader betalas genom VRBO. Lägenheten ligger på 2: a våningen i byggnaden. Det finns ingen hiss.

Great place to stay

Gloria met us outside the apartment and showed us around. The apartment was on the top floor and had everything we needed. There were two sets of keys which was very useful. The only problem we encountered was the main door into the street. It was very difficult to shut it completely from outside. Our apartment had a secure door but there were several cycles in the hall and we were worried someone might be able to get in. We contacted Gloria who asked the restaurant to help but the problem continued. We would not hesitate to return as we love Lucca.

The apartment is in a good location within historic Lucca. It has a generous amount of space. One of our significant and important complaints involves the promise of two bicycles which would have been very useful. The two bicycles are absolutely non-functional and not suitable to be ridden including their flat tires. They should not be promised in their current condition. Also, we were provided with only one bath towel each for a four night stay, no soap or shampoo which are typically provided and no box of tissues which are common in most accommodations. While being charged a “cleaning fee” per day for each of our four day stay, no cleaning took place during any day that we were there. So, in summary the apartment reflects very “Spartan” conditions within a good amount of space in a good location.

Great location and space

The location can’t be beaten, everything literally on the doorstep in heart of Lucca old town. 10-15 mins easy walk to the train station for day trips. Dozens of restaurants to choose from, lots of sights to see and shopping. 5 mins from the lovely walk round the walls. Spacious apartment with everything needed to self cater. Lots of character, air con useful. We loved Lucca so much we stayed an extra night! Owner very responsive and accommodating.

Amazing hospitality at a wonderful location!

Our hostess Eva was so warm and welcoming when we arrived. She showed us around and then sat down and gave us recommendations for where to go and what to see. The property was comfortable and clean, and the location was right in the heart of town just steps away from everything. There were also lots of great dining and shopping options nearby. We had an issue getting the lock to work one night, but Eva was easy to contact and came right over to help us figure it out even though it was late. She really went above and beyond to help make our stay wonderful. We would definitely recommend this property!

A comfortable place to stay.

The hosts were very accommodating. The place is centrally located in the historical area. The hosts walked with us around the apartment. They also had a map of the historical area showing us places to see and recommend places to eat. It was very enjoyable and it was a comfortable place to stay.

Central, charming stay in Lucca

We loved every minute in Lucca! The property is just as described. So charming and perfect for our family of four. Very central in the Walled city and so fun to get to! Lucca Love!

Had a great time enjoying Lucca. The property is lovely in a central location. Pip, the property owner, is excellent with timely communication. The property manager, Eva, was on time for an early check-in. Lucca is an amazing city with a wall completely around the perimeter that is walkable. Great views of the city from the wall with nice areas to rest and enjoy the city. Fine economical dining outside the property door or around any corner. Really enjoyed our stay.!

Lovely apartment in the perfect spot

This was our second visit to this apartment - testament to how good it is. It's position in the centre of Lucca is wonderful - just outside the door for all that Lucca has to offer. As before, we were looked after very well by Eva who met us on our arrival and very quickly fixed a small problem we had the next day.. Lucca is a delight and this property is the perfect base from which to explore.

Lucca Comics and Games 2018

Personalmente ci siamo trovati benissimo nella casa. Venendo da anni di Lucca comics and Games sappiamo come sono le case del centro storico di Lucca e secondo noi è stata all'altezza delle aspettative. Per arrivarci ci sono 4 piani di scale (normalissimo per Lucca Centro), però se avete tante valige non è comodissimo, però è nella normalità del centro! Noi ci siamo trovati benissimo anche perché era al centro di tutto e si ha tutto quello che serve a pochi metri di distanza!

The perfect location for a stay in Lucca

This apartment is right in the centre of Lucca - perfect for a stay in this beautiful city. It was quiet and peaceful, yet the hustle and bustle of Italian life was right outside the door. We found it to be very comfortable, equipped with everything we could possibly need. Beds were comfy, good quality bedding and towels and settees were perfect for relaxing with a book and glass of wine.The owners and apartment manager were extremely helpful, always answering questions quickly. So much to see and do in Lucca, excellent restaurants to choose from and we had to try a different gelato every day. No wonder we felt we had to run the parkrun route around the city walls! The apartment has no outdoor space, but this really didn't matter. We found plenty of opportunity to sit outside with a book and people-watch. We did take a train to Pisa one day - very easy and cheap - and enjoyed walking there and seeing the tower. The guide books left in the apartment came in very handy with an excellent walking guide to Pisa. For a holiday without a car this location is perfect - plenty of places easily accessible by bus or train. We were fortunate that our stay coincided with an annual candle-lit parade - it was fascinating watching the preparations as well as the parade itself. Such a bonus! Would we recommend? Most certainly and indeed have already recommended this apartment to friends who love Lucca. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Lucca, and thank you to the apartment owners for facilitating such a wonderful holiday.

Amazing place in the heart of Lucca!

We spent a far to short couple of nights in Lucca this past June. Loved the city,it is such a hidden jem. Casa Cenami was in the perfect location, with in walking distance to everything you would want to see and do in Lucca. It is steps away from restaurants, gelato and the fabulous 16th century wall! Besides the amazing location, the apartment was outfitted with everything you could need for a stay (most of which we didn't use in our short three days) and also had a great array of guide books available for our use. The apartment was charming, historic, clean and ever so inviting! We had nothing but positive and quick replies to any of our inquiries before our stay, with Pip, the owner, and Eva, the onsite property manager was so incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about Lucca and went out of her way to accommodate us at check in. I highly recommend Lucca and Casa Cenami and would love to return again and use this fabulous place as a home base since it is only one stop to Pisa and an hour to Florence and an hour and a half to the Cinque Terre. It would make an excellent home base for a week or longer! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your amazing place!

Great place and Perfect location

We had a wonderful time. After a few days in Lucca, I can’t imagine a better location. Eva the house manager was most helpful. The place is fully appointed and has a great kitchen.. I highly recommend.

Lucca stay ...bella bella bella

Loved the location right in the Centre of Lucca. The apartment was completely as pictured with everything you could need. Pip the owner was quick to answer any queries by email prior to the stay and her on site property manager Eva did an excellent job. We stayed for 2 weeks (Sept 29-Oct 12 2017) to really explore the wonderful medieval walled city of Lucca...with everything from designer to daily shopping, to an endless supply of cafes and restaurants, and of course the historical sights of Lucca itself. The apartment was only a short walk to the train station ... easy for us for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Viareggio (beautiful beach), Monticini and the Cinque Terre as well as a booked tour to a winery.

Visit to Lucca, Cinque Terra Trail and Pisa

This charming apartment, is located in the heart of Lucca, only steps away from fantastic shops and food. Be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs, but once your luggage is up, you are ready to enjoy the many, many sites and sounds of Lucca. Eva met us at the apartment and was very nice and extremely helpful getting our bearings. The only downside was the internet was out during our stay. Just a note to anyone planning to stay in Lucca, plan on spending more time than you thought just strolling through the streets of Lucca. Lots to see.

Little gem in the center of Lucca

My mother-in-law and I were in Lucca for 3 nights during our trip to Tuscany and had a wonderful stay in Casa Cenami. The apartment is so lovely and met all of our expectations and needs. It was very clean, quiet, cozy and centrally located within Lucca. They provided a lot of information about the local area including maps, in-depth travel books and recommendations for local restaurants. The apartment is also furnished with all the comforts and necessities of home. Eva, the apartment manager was incredibly warm and welcoming, and she provided all the information we needed to check in/out while making the process very easy. We were also able to arrange a cooking class with her and her husband to learn how to create local Tuscan dishes. Shopping at the local markets was fun, the food they made was delicious and it was overall a fantastic and very local experience! I worked through the VRBO site to communicate with the owner, Pip, and he was very responsive, provided a lot of information about the apartment and made the payment process very straightforward and smooth. Lucca is an absolute gem and we loved exploring the city and its treasures, as well as walking on the city wall. Casa Cenami is a perfect place to stay while exploring such a special place and I would recommend it to anyone. We cannot wait to return to Lucca and would definitely stay again at Casa Cenami. Lovely apartment

The apartment is centrally located, lots of space, comfortable and homely, clean, nicely decorated, stays cool and has a great kitchen. Perfect for a stay in central Lucca - living like a local. The host was delightful and responsive.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Lucca is the ideal location. We can fly into Pisa and in 30 minutes by bus we're in Lucca. Or we can take the train or drive to Florence in under an hour. Public transport gives us access to the famous Cinque Terre region, medieval Sienna & other Tuscan hill towns, sunbathing on the Mediterranean coast, or skiing and it's all within a hour or two.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

When we're in Lucca, we love to go on wine and olive oil tours & tastings, dine al fresco in one of the many fantastic Lucca restaurants, pick up fresh porcini mushrooms or truffles with hand-made pasta to cook at home or check out the stalls at the monthly art market outside our front door. There's always a concert going on in one of the piazzas or churches plus art & photo exhibitions. And beyond that, just strolling the ancient walls always brings a serenity to the day.
