Flat was charming and in an amazing location. It is more of a 2 bedroom with a twin bed in an alcove between a bedroom and bathroom. The second bath is a non-traditional bath: a wet bath with no separation of the shower, toilet, and sink. Owner is very quick in responses to questions and concerns. Easy check in and check out.

We had a wonderful stay. Apartment was centrally located communication was very easy. Was the lady.Gloria was wonderful giving us tips of what to do and where to go. This is a perfect place to stay, especially with the family. Two bathrooms, wonderful kitchen and perfect location.

This apartment is in an amazing location. Many restaurants, shops, cafes just steps away from our door. We arrived by train and were able to walk to our place in under10 minutes.The apartment: a lovely woman named Gloria, met us upon our arrival. She gave us our keys and made some recommendations for local restaurants. The apartment is listed as 3 bedrooms. It is two good size bedrooms and one small space with a twin bed between the upstairs room and bathroom. A family member ended up sleeping on the couch which was quite comfortable. There are 2 good size couches and would easily accommodate an adult. The shower worked great. WiFi was fine. There is AC but we didn’t need it. The owner also has 2 bikes for guest use.When traveling, my goal is to have a good place to rest at the end of a day. This was perfect and I highly recommend!

We loved staying in this cool old apartment. It is spacious and well appointed. The owner and greeter were kind and attentive. We enjoyed the historic nature of the building and location. We would definitely stay here again.

A comfortable place to stay.

The hosts were very accommodating. The place is centrally located in the historical area. The hosts walked with us around the apartment. They also had a map of the historical area showing us places to see and recommend places to eat. It was very enjoyable and it was a comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful Lucca!

Loved Lucca. Such a charming place. The apartment was historic and great, and convenient to our Giro d'Italia event. However, we purposely sought out a 2 bath unit and upon arrival were told not to shower in the main floor bath due to potential water on the floor. So we all had to share a shower which was not what we wanted in the first place. But our manager was kind and came to our aide when we couldn't open the front door. I think that we paid for a 2 bath unit and should be able to use both showers. A partial refund would be appreciated.

Great location and space

The location can’t be beaten, everything literally on the doorstep in heart of Lucca old town. 10-15 mins easy walk to the train station for day trips. Dozens of restaurants to choose from, lots of sights to see and shopping. 5 mins from the lovely walk round the walls. Spacious apartment with everything needed to self cater. Lots of character, air con useful. We loved Lucca so much we stayed an extra night! Owner very responsive and accommodating.

This was our second visit to this apartment - testament to how good it is. It's position in the centre of Lucca is wonderful - just outside the door for all that Lucca has to offer. As before, we were looked after very well by Eva who met us on our arrival and very quickly fixed a small problem we had the next day.. Central, charming stay in Lucca

We loved every minute in Lucca! The property is just as described. So charming and perfect for our family of four. Very central in the Walled city and so fun to get to! Amazing hospitality at a wonderful location!

Our hostess Eva was so warm and welcoming when we arrived. She showed us around and then sat down and gave us recommendations for where to go and what to see. The property was comfortable and clean, and the location was right in the heart of town just steps away from everything. There were also lots of great dining and shopping options nearby. We had an issue getting the lock to work one night, but Eva was easy to contact and came right over to help us figure it out even though it was late. She really went above and beyond to help make our stay wonderful. We would definitely recommend this property!

Great place to stay

Gloria met us outside the apartment and showed us around. The apartment was on the top floor and had everything we needed. There were two sets of keys which was very useful. The only problem we encountered was the main door into the street. It was very difficult to shut it completely from outside. Our apartment had a secure door but there were several cycles in the hall and we were worried someone might be able to get in. We contacted Gloria who asked the restaurant to help but the problem continued. We would not hesitate to return as we love Lucca.

Mixed Reaction

The apartment is in a good location within historic Lucca. It has a generous amount of space. One of our significant and important complaints involves the promise of two bicycles which would have been very useful. The two bicycles are absolutely non-functional and not suitable to be ridden including their flat tires. They should not be promised in their current condition. Also, we were provided with only one bath towel each for a four night stay, no soap or shampoo which are typically provided and no box of tissues which are common in most accommodations. While being charged a “cleaning fee” per day for each of our four day stay, no cleaning took place during any day that we were there. So, in summary the apartment reflects very “Spartan” conditions within a good amount of space in a good location.

Lucca Love!

Had a great time enjoying Lucca. The property is lovely in a central location. Pip, the property owner, is excellent with timely communication. The property manager, Eva, was on time for an early check-in. Lucca is an amazing city with a wall completely around the perimeter that is walkable. Great views of the city from the wall with nice areas to rest and enjoy the city. Fine economical dining outside the property door or around any corner. Really enjoyed our stay.!

Personalmente ci siamo trovati benissimo nella casa. Venendo da anni di Lucca comics and Games sappiamo come sono le case del centro storico di Lucca e secondo noi Ăš stata all'altezza delle aspettative. Per arrivarci ci sono 4 piani di scale (normalissimo per Lucca Centro), perĂČ se avete tante valige non Ăš comodissimo, perĂČ Ăš nella normalitĂ  del centro! Noi ci siamo trovati benissimo anche perchĂ© era al centro di tutto e si ha tutto quello che serve a pochi metri di distanza!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Lucca is the ideal location. We can fly into Pisa and in 30 minutes by bus we're in Lucca. Or we can take the train or drive to Florence in under an hour. Public transport gives us access to the famous Cinque Terre region, medieval Sienna & other Tuscan hill towns, sunbathing on the Mediterranean coast, or skiing and it's all within a hour or two.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

When we're in Lucca, we love to go on wine and olive oil tours & tastings, dine al fresco in one of the many fantastic Lucca restaurants, pick up fresh porcini mushrooms or truffles with hand-made pasta to cook at home or check out the stalls at the monthly art market outside our front door. There's always a concert going on in one of the piazzas or churches plus art & photo exhibitions. And beyond that, just strolling the ancient walls always brings a serenity to the day.
