The Space:
Walk into this cabin and you immediately feel the coziness with a gas fireplace. In the living room we have a comfy Full size Futon that would be perfect for 1 adult or 2 small kids! We also have an a/c window unit for those days in summer when it gets alittle warm. Next to the living room open the door to a soft Queen size bed to sleep in after a day of adventuring. The bathroom is fully remodeled complete with shower, fresh towels, and eco friendly soaps.
If you need to make a meal or just get a snack, walk from the main area to the kitchen where you will find a refrigerator, gas stove/oven, toaster, microwave, coffee and all the cookware and dishes you need! Enjoy a kitchen dining table set for four in our cozy nook with lots of sunlight. If you prefer to grill you can open up the back door to your own private fenced in patio for grilling or just sit and enjoy the fresh mountain air and enjoy the night sky!

This cabin as been fully remodeled and ready for you to come and enjoy! This cabin shares a front porch with the cabin next door, duplex style. If you are looking for more places for friends and family to stay please ask about additional accommodations as we do have 9 other cabins throughout the property!

DOGS- This cabin is Dog friendly with a max of 2 dogs. We do have a one time $50 fee per dog. We do have a strict leash policy. Your dog MUST be kept on leash at all times for the safety of your pet, other guests and wildlife. Please pick up after your pet, we do have a dog trash/bag station near your cabin.

Guest Access:
If you are coming from Lyons you will turn left right after county road 80 onto our private drive. Make sure you are on the left side of the river. You will head down the road past the parking lot. Keep going straight and following the one way dirt road to the back of the property where it curves to the right. You will pass a garage and stand alone cabin. Next you will come to a group of 6 cabins on your right. Your cabin will be the one with in the back on the right with the PURPLE chairs on the deck and Purple door. The cabin name is Spruce. Pull into the unloading area to get all your things into your cabin and then continue to follow the one way road back to the parking lot to park. It will be a short walk from the parking lot to your cabin. We wanted to keep the property quiet, peaceful and natural for all of our guests so you can enjoy all the property has to offer! You are able to access this cabin with any type of vehicle although please think about the time of year you are coming and what areas you would like to adventure to. Getting to some of the trailheads may require AWD or 4WD.

The Neighborhood:
The Spruce Cabin is located on our private property right along the St. Vrain River! There are 11 cabins on our property and we pride ourselves in keeping it private and natural so everyone can enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We are less then 8min to Lyons and about 15min to Estes Park, 20min to RMNP and any and all hikes in between! If you are looking to attend one of Lyons many festivals we are a 5min drive to Planet Blue Grass.

Getting Around:
You should easily be able to access our property with any vehicle but please remember if you are doing any mountain driving or planning any hikes some trailheads are only accessible by AWD or 4WD

Parking- please use the One Way road to get to your cabin to unload your things. Always go the same direction to get back to the parking lot. The road is not wide enough for two vehicles to pass each other in certain spots.

Other Things to Note:
Dogs- we do have a one time pet fee of $50 per pet with a maximum of 2 dogs. We are so glad they can come with you as we know they are part of the family! We have a strict LEASH policy, when outside on the property all dogs MUST be on a leash for their safety as well as other dogs/guests on the property. Please pick up after them ( we have dog poop stations with poop bags) and if you absolutely need to leave them in the cabin while you are not their they must be crated. Thank you!

Wildlife: We are in the mountains and do have wildlife walking through the property regularly such as Black Bears, Elk, Bobcats, Fox and Deer. That being said these are wild animals and we are in their space so please enjoy them but keep a safe distance. Never approach them and please do not leave any food in your vehicle or outside. Lock your car at all times and please throw food garbage in our bear proof container on the property up by the Lodge.

Outdoor Firepit: We have 5 outdoor gas firepits on the property for you to enjoy. Please remember to turn the firepit and propane off when you are finished.

River and Fire Bans- The River is cold mountain run off and is also at times very deep and fast. Please be aware of this and stay a safe distance when enjoying! We will let you know about any fire bans that might come up in the area. Tubing is just 5min down the road at Ray's River Rentals in Lyons!

WIFI: we do have wifi and it is great! however we are in the canyon and sometimes depending on weather etc. it can be spotty.
