Cabin was ideal for my dog and us. It's not super fantasy but it was all we needed. Quiet neighborhood and off the beaten path.

We only stayed one night because the toilet was not working. We left the next morning before the owner came to fix the toilet.The owner was very understanding and gave us a refund for the other 2 nights we had booked. He was very nice!

Check in was very easy, place was easy to find, and the owner was very responsive. The house was stocked with everything i needed and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils, i didnt even have to unpack my own. Theres no wifi and a pretty sizable vhs and dvd collection, which was exactly what i needed, i think at one point i went 3 whole days without even looking at my phone other than to check the time.

Vacation getaway

The property itself is in need of updating as others mentioned, but overall we had an enjoyable stay. We got some good rest, and it was quit and peaceful. Had everything we needed.

Nice cabin

Nice place. Owner was responsive to our needs. We were delayed several days, and he worked with us to extend our stay. Highly reccommend this cabin.

Everything as expected

Very comfy & clean mountain cottage. Went through 7 bundles of wood because the fireplace was so enjoyable. Look forward to a return trip!

Peaceful

The cabin was great for us to relax would definitely go again. Just remember to bring a cushion for the bed it’s a little hard.

Sunset View

The cabin was a nice hideaway for the weekend. We were there to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary, and we had a great time. We even took it old school and watched a movie on VHS! Lol The fact that dogs are allowed is a nice touch. The beds could definitely use some new mattresses and are fulls (not queens), but other than that the place was clean and as described. We would stay again.

Clean, rustic, quiet, but bad beds

The place was clean, and had everything I needed but a good nights sleep. The beds were as hard as a rock. This could be easily remedied with a good 3 or 4 inch matress topper. I ended up leaving a day early because I was sleeping on the couch due to the terrible bed. Otherwise the fire ring was nice outside and it is very peaceful at the property. It rained and I sat out on the porch and watched and listened to the storm which was relaxing. There is a sweet view of the sunset/mountains across the road. The A/C worked well and there is a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace that I am sure makes the place cozy in the winter. FIX THE BEDS!

Clean, but thats about it..

Clean, but unkept yard...the fridge kept sounding like some one was breaking into the place. The house needs some minor repairs....and the yard needed mowing at the very least. The porch needs grip tape or anti skid because when it rains its as slick as ice......but price being what it is...you get what you pay for.

Far from the maddening crowd

We were blown away with the setting, far enough from the beaten path that all you could hear was the wind in the trees. The sunsets and sunrises were to die for. There were many places within driving distance that you could visit if the quietude of sunsets and sunrises are not enough.

Was not as good as seemed in picture! Cut down tree was in the yard! Porch did not seem too safe! The inside was not too good! Bathroom bad shape! We did not even stay 2 nd night we had booked ! We were just too tired to go anywhere else first night so we had to stay! I just don’t think people should charge that price for that place!

It was a great location and we had a great time. The one thing i didnt like was the drive is a very curvy and narrow ride.

Value of Rental

So discouraging to see such a beautiful property fall into disrepair and neglect. Our stay was enjoyable but poor cleanliness and needed repairs were distracting.

Major Disappointment

Cabin looked like it was still being renovated. Very inconvenient location; total darkness on the mountain road. Not even a porch light left on & we were expected. Fridge is very loud when recycling, missing glass covers over ceiling fixtures. Dryer not connected to outside exhaust...lint on walls & behind dryer. Fire hazard! Dirty bedside fixtures(bulbs encrusted!) & bathrm ceiling vent. Appeared to be (black?) mold under shower faucet handles. Way overpriced, but not worth it at any price!!
