❀CENTRAL Location to Everything in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Situated off Highway 385 just south of Deadwood, in the heart of the northern Black Hills, this home is perfect for groups and families, small and large! The home has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a large open plan kitchen and dining area.
BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: There are four bedrooms and two and a half baths in this home. The master bedroom, with a King size bed, and ensuite bathroom that has a walk in double headed shower. The other three bedrooms are located on the other side of the home and of course all with King Size beds.
KITCHEN/DINING: The main floor consists of an open plan with the kitchen, dining and living room areas. You have access onto the decks from the main living area, garage and master bedroom.
LIVING ROOM: Reclining lazy boy chairs and couches with recliners, big screen TV.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Covered and uncovered decks, propane gas grill, flat iron grill and enough seating to just hang out the rest of the day with family and friends after a day of playing in the Black Hills.
CLOSEST AIRPORT: It is just a 65-mile drive to Rapid City Regional.
NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon, Nemo, Sturgis, Rochford, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Hill City, Keystone, Roubaix Lake, Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake, you get the idea, all is a close, this is a great location to do day trips to the best of the best of the Black Hills.
This home was built with handicap grab bars inside and outside every door and bathroom. 36" doors that are accessible from the garage, master bedroom and bath, kitchen, dining and living room.
We built 2- One Level cabins this past year. Jojo's cabin and the Lodge at Roubaix are pretty much identical and a mile apart on our other ranch.

Great location. Close to everything

The house was everthing we hoped for and more. Great location, lots of room for parking. House was clean and great layout. Garage was amazing. Very close to uyv trails and Deadwood/ Lead. We loved it and will be returning.

Jeri Jo and Kurt are the ultimate hosts. They are like the relatives that you only see every few years and catch up instantly! Now
the “Cabin” is the ultimate retreat. Every amenity is there and accessible. The rooms are big, comfortable and luxurious. The decor is impeccable, rustic and elegant at the same time! The location is perfect for seeing the neighboring towns and historic sites. Everything is within a short drive. For bike week, there is no better location!!!

Absolutely amazing

Could not have even dreamed of a better place to stay. Jeri and Kurt were beyond gracious and accommodating- more like family than hosts. I have never stayed in a place where so much attention was paid to making you feel at home. My only disappointment was that we weren’t able to stay longer. That being said- we will most definitely be back!

Everything about the house was amazing! And talk about well stocked! There was everything you could ever need in that house. It was spacious and welcoming. We loved that we were able to cook outside on the flat top and the smoker. We also really appreciated that there was plenty of room to park our trailers and side by sides. I can't say enough good things about this house and the hosts!

We have stayed in several VRBOs and this one would be top on our list. The host was the best, so accommodating and the house was beautiful and stocked with everything you would need. It was close to so many attractions, Mt Rushmore, crazy horse, devils tower, Needles highway, Custer State Park. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the elk bugling. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful place! Not too far from Deadwood but far enough to be out in the woods. The cabin was clean and decorated really nice. Big garage with games, tv and music. Owners were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anybody.

Beautiful house

Easy access to Deadwood and Lead. The construction on 385 made it harder to access the southern hills. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Beds comfortable. It is right off 385 so there is road noise. Host Jeri was so accommodating. We would stay here again!

The sign out front reads "this must be the place", it is indeed THE place! Four king beds on one level was the reason we booked this property and the rooms did not disappoint, spacious and beautifully decorated. The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked. Full set of pots and pans of various sizes, cutting boards, baking sheets, serving tray, enough silverware and plates to feed a village. The shop had everything you could possibly need to keep busy on a rainy afternoon. Host is very responsive to questions or concerns. We had a great stay and will choose JoJos Cabin again for our next trip.

Everything You Need For a Black Hills Getaway

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this is easily one of our favorites. The owners have thought of everything - it is so unbelievably well stocked. The game room in the garage is a wonderful place to hang out. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. It's only a few short minutes south of Deadwood and within short drives to Rapid City, Hill City and Keystone/Mount Rushmore. Communication with the owners was great. They are very thoughtful.

Great property

We stayed in this great home so we could visit the nearby attractions. The house is well-designed and well-stocked. As some of us are older adults we especially appreciated NO STAIRS! There were lots of games and a well-stocked kitchen. Communication was excellent both before and during our stay. Love having the washer and dryer as well. There is some highway noise, but not bad at all. Jeri suggested some restaurants and they were great! Thanks for working with us and being flexible with our relatively late change of dates.

Wasn’t what we thought it was going to be.

The house was brand new and very nice inside. Unfortunately my family had plans of open areas for the kids to run and play in the grass and just be adventurous. This property being brand new had new sod and hydro-seed with signs on it that said keep off the grass. Also there were signs in the house instructing us essentially to “clean up after ourselves” which should go without saying. There was a play area but it was closer to the owners home which was not pictured in the listing but sat a couple hundred yards away.from the rental house. The highway is also pretty close to the house. After arriving around 6pm we made the decision to find another place and stayed the one night of 4 and spent the other nights in another.

Perfect Getaway

Our family recently stayed at this beautiful home and couldn't have been more pleased! The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. The views of hwy 385 from the front porch were perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and watching traffic or grilling out after a long day of riding. Jeri Jo and Kurt were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They provided helpful local recommendations and were always available for any questions. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Father/Son 40th Annual Motorcycle Trip

My husband and 83 yr old father-in-law needed an easy accessible place with room for the trailer and bikes and this was perfect! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had anything you would need, and everything was just so nice! Jeri Jo was very easy to work with and a fantastic host! Highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful property and wonderful host

From the first moment I reached out to Jeri Jo, she was so informative and absolutely nice!! The home is stunning and fully stocked with the basics. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the kitchen wonderful!! The outdoor space was beautiful and the only con would be that I would have liked to have been off of the busy highway more. The host is beyond nice and it was a pleasure to meet her in person! I loved her app for the house as well.

Amazing home in the hills!

We loved our stay with Jeri. Even got to meet her! House was completely stocked, and that was a first for us. It is closer to the deadwood/lead area. So plan on traveling a ways for tourist areas such as keystone/hill city. We didn’t mind though. It was a beautiful area in the black hills national forest. Hopefully will be able to stay there again. Recommend buying the insurance as we needed it for a broken toilet seat.

Both of our families have been in the same are for over 100 years. We pride ourselves on a fully STOCKED home. You will not be missing a thing when you rent from us. We enjoy the Black Hills, fishing, hiking, sightseeing and relaxing under the stars. If you have any special needs just ask. We probably have it...

We welcome self-check ins, just let us know or we can meet for a quick walk through and answer any questions you might have on trails, access in and around the hills, special routes to take while sightseeing, best of the best restaurants or not to be missed if you have any special interests.

Central to everything in the northern Black Hills. We are just south of Deadwood and sit RIGHT of Hwy 385. Great location for ATVing, motorcycling in the hills, or a great landing point while hitting all the special places the Black Hills has to offer. The home sits close to the trails with easy access to Pactola Lake, Roubaix Lake, Nemo, Deadwood, Lead, Rochford, Sturgis, Mount Rushmore, Hill City, Custer State Park along with Spearfish Canyon. We have 2 golf courses within a short drive, Lead County Club and Tomahawk Golf Course.
