Paradise!

This property is gorgeous. The location is remote but the house has everything. The view is insane and it is very private. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped.The host is always available and very accommodating. A gem…Would for sure go back.

Great property in a secluded part of the island for total peace and tranquillity

The property is absolutely stunning and the views simply cannot be beat. A highlight of the stay was having the steps down into the sea where the best reefs there were right in front of the house. So many fish and marine life - was incredible. We went in pretty much every day. The house is very relaxing, great design and has pretty much everything you need for a great stay.

A Beautiful View.

Villa H is amazing! The view is everything as promised and the property itself beyond belief. Christiane the host was very helpful even before we got to the island and was right there when we needed questions answered. I would highly recommend Villa H.

Just click book, you won't regret it. Christiane was a fabulous and accommodating host and we needed nothing. This is by far the coolest place to stay if you want quiet, away from people... The kitchen is fabulous to cook with your love and the snorkeling right in front is incredible.

Paradise on earth

Pictures does not do this property justice! Being able to wake up and have the beautiful view of the ocean every morning was such a mesmerizing experience. Christiane was a great communicator and assisted us with any of our questions / needs.

Thank Goodness for Villa H

We arrived at the beginning of a new COVID lockdown. This villa was a wonderful sanctuary. Restaurants closed- no problem with a wonderful kitchen and dining areas. Beaches restricted- No problem with private water access to Dian Bay. Overall , a great relaxing time on a wonderful property.

A view to die for

I’m convinced this is the most beautiful property on the island. The view is amazing the house is stunning. Private. Quiet. Everything you could want in a rental. 2 minute drive to one of the best beaches in Antigua. Shops and restaurants on that beach. Florence and Glenny were phenomenal if you get a chance to meet them.

Quiet and Gorgeous

Christiane is an attentive host. The villa is absolutely beautiful, with big windows and beautiful views, comfortable lounge areas indoors and out, and easy access to the sea for swimming and snorkelling. Located in a quiet area, with a short walk to Long Bay Beach, this villa requires a rental car, but the drive is worth it. Shop for groceries in St John’s first because the nearest convenience store has a modest selection. Suggest packing bug spray for the mosquitos if sitting out in the evening. 10/10 would stay again and recommend to friends.

Really lovely property with beautiful waterfront

We had a wonderful 6 night stay. We love snorkeling and most days we had good visibility swimming from the steps. It can be a little tricky getting in so I wouldn’t recommend for the elderly, but we had so much fun. There are plenty of Pelicans to see and lobsters under rocks. Also pencil fishes and others. The house itself is gorgeous too. I’d recommend taking some basic provisions like stock cubes and herbs, but there was cooking oil and a few starter items. We shopped at the epicurean supermarket. Not a place for people who want nightlife as a bit secluded, although Long Bay is very near and Mama Pasta is ok for lunch. Christiane is a gem. Hoping to stay again soon. Such good memories!

AMAZING!!!!

Our family of 3 spent 2 weeks at Villa H. Not our first trip to Antigua or to the villa. We had another amazing holiday. The villa, with its modern lines and thought to every detail, exudes class and comfort. And with the mind blowing view on the national park and absolutely private waterfront, it's just the perfect place to spend a vacation. Easy swimming and snorkeling in front of the house, BBQs on the terrace, and one of the best places for kitesurfing on the nearby Green Island (the school can come to pick you up at nearby dock). Christiane, the house manager, is always available to help for anything you can imagine - from finding fresh fish, a nanny or giving you quick updates on the newest and latest in Antigua. It all just feels so easy and comfortable.

Roaches, No A/C, No Power, No running water or flushing toilets, and No response from owner!!!!!!

We have returned home after our stay at Villa H. We booked Villa H with cash payment, upfront since they do not accept credit card or Paypal. The owner was out of the country, so we were met by a friend who had been staying there. The listing states that there is air conditioning, but one bedroom unit was broken. The site also states that the first bedroom has a built in tub, but this is clearly false advertising as there are no water fixtures or drain in what might have been a tub at one time. Since there are no screens in the windows, leaving the windows open at night infests the home with insects and large mosquitos making it unbearable. We also found three large cockroaches in the guest bathroom since that window is open all the time. When we contacted the owner the next morning to have the AC repaired, we were told they could not come that day. After we stressed that this was not acceptable, the repair man finally arrived at 3:00pm. We spent the entire day there waiting for them and were unable to leave the villa. He spent about three hours, explaining that the wiring had been chewed by rodents and that the AC unit was not repairable. Trying to be accommodating, we simply asked for a fan to circulate the air since there are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. I was shocked when the owner refused to purchase a fan, stating that there were no fans available for 220v on the entire island. By this time of night, we were stuck for another sleepless night, trying to share one bedroom and sleeping on the floor. This was not our expectation at the price paid for this villa. On the third day, we spent the entire morning without electricity, or water to bathe or even flush the toilet. I was equally surprised that the owner refused to offer any refund for the horrible two days we had, and only agreed to refund the third night after we left the villa. Since there were no bath amenities provided (shampoo/conditioner), we had to make a special trip to the nearest grocery store, 40 minutes away. We also spent hundreds of dollars renting a car and buying food that was wasted since we had no electricity to cook with and were forced to leave early. It was very unprofessional to put a friend in such a difficult position since the owner stopped responding to our numerous emails and left her to deal the business problems. I would avoid this property at all cost.

My husband and I booked Christiane's villa to start our honeymoon in Antigua. From airport pickup to check out, our stay was wonderful! If you stay here, request Charlton for airport pick up and transportation throughout the island. He was so friendly, made us feel safe, and gave us a mini guided tour as he drove us around. He even gave us a tour of Devil's bridge and got us to our next destination after checking out of the villa. We also had the pleasure of two amazing dinners set up at the villa with Chef Antoine Poitevin. He is phenomenal! Highly recommend if you are able to arrange this during your stay. The rest of our stay was relaxing, private, and too short in my opinion! We wanted to stay longer and hope to return in the future.

Out of a James Bond film

This house exceeded all expectations. Full functioning gourmet kitchen, gorgeous open living space and some of the best snorkeling on the island 20 feet from your dock. The owner was in constant contact and answered any small question we had. This is a remote house which was exactly what we wanted. No reason to leave this place, it has everything you want for Antigua. We are extensive VRBO travelers renting high-end homes. This will be one of the top three we have ever done.

Spectacular beauty

My husband, daughter and I loved our spring break trip to Villa H. The house is so gorgeous and peaceful. Being a swimmer, having that beautiful bay area to swim all around and see some beautiful fish was heaven on earth! You can absolutely swim in that bay - it is calm and you can see so much. Wish they had a kayak or that we could have rented a kayak or paddle board, just for fun. But I swim a lot so it was not a big deal. It was a JOY to have that whole gorgeous bay pretty much to ourselves (only occasionally would we see a paddle boarder from the resort across the way). I would recommend bringing googles to see all the spectacular coral and marine life.We had the chef come two nights. She not only cooked great food but was so absolutely lovely. Wilikies is about a 40 minute drive to restaurants (in English Harbor or St. John’s area), so it was nice to have the option of a chef a few nights.And I highly recommend using Charles to drive you to/from airport and any place you want to go. He is super reliable and friendly. We have rented cars in several Caribbean islands but with the conditions of the roads (lot of potholes) and how traffic can build up around St. John’s - it was much easier and relaxing to have Charles bring us anywhere we wanted to go. Further, the host was excellent at communicating with us. Above and beyond. She recommended we have dinner at the Reef (which is very close by) and the Hut - which were both excellent. THANK YOU!!!

It’s almost impossible to put into words how incredible our stay was at Christiane’s stunning villa. No matter what I write, it won’t do justice to the house, the views, or to Christiane herself.If you’re debating whether to book this place—don’t. Just do it. You won’t regret it.Waking up with the reef and bay right at your feet, and spending golden hours in the sun-drenched living room with loved ones, are memories I’ll hold onto for years. It’s the kind of place that stays with you.From the moment we arrived, Christiane made us feel completely at home. She arranged for cleaning every other day, gave us top-notch restaurant recommendations, and shared insider tips that led us to hidden beaches and unforgettable local spots. Without her guidance, we wouldn’t have discovered so many of the things that made our trip truly special.Honestly, I could write a whole separate review just about Christiane—she was that incredible. Thoughtful, responsive, and full of great advice, she gave us everything we needed to fully relax and enjoy ourselves.All I can say is: book this villa. Take care of it. It’s one of a kind, and easily a 12 out of 10 across the board.

Wonderful

I cannot say enough about Christiane and her beautiful house. We were able to snorkel every day, right from the house. We walked to the beach every morning for a swim. Christiane looked after us so well. She gave suggestions for restaurants and day trips. We have stayed in many villas over the years and this one beats them all.

Everything about staying at Christiane’s house was wonderful. It is a beautiful house and location, very comfortable, perfectly equipped for cooking, relaxing, swimming. There are so many comfortable places to hang out. Christiane is a wonderful host. She is gracious, knowledgeable, helpful above and beyond and truly a pleasure to deal with.

Relaxation in modern comfort

Stunning sea views below blue skies from Villa H were much enjoyed by us for a whole three weeks. The modern concrete surfaces, well equipped large kitchen and many comfortable seating areas made for a relaxing stay. With its carefully chosen art, ornaments and books, Villa H feels more like a home from home than a holiday villa.Access to the sea from the villa’s jetty can be treacherous for the young and the old with high waves and strong currents but there is a calm, quiet beach at a walking distance plus a public beach at Long Bay. The Trade Winds can be strong on this side of the island, although pleasantly warm.

Amazing place to relax and unwind!

Our stay here was incredible! The property was tucked away in a very quiet and beautiful part of the island with a perfect little beach just a short walk down the road. The house itself is a work of art and very much exceeded expectations. We spent hours swimming and snorkeling right off the back of the house, paddle boarding around the bay, and taking in the most amazing views and sounds of the ocean. Christiane was the most gracious host that was there for anything we needed. She is so knowledgable about the island and helped us navigate so we could get the most out of our vacation. I can't wait to go back as it was truly a very special place to stay.

Great Villa, Views and Snorkeling

The Villa was great, views of the bay and ocean amazing. Always a strong o ran breeze to keep the temperature down while outside on the numerous decks. Snorkeling in the bay outside the Villa was terrific and we spent hours everyday in the water. The only thing missing in the house is a microwave (popcorn lovers that we are). The recommended chef to cook meals in the Villa was disappointing. Expensive and not that creative. Better meals at the local restaurants such as Mama Pasta for pizza and fish burgers (both excellent with great views of Long Bay Beach) and Reggae Village for fried fish and jerk chicken.
