Overall the home was very nice and everything we needed to feel "at home" was there. The only drawback was the beds were VERY firm and this led to a not so comfortable sleep for all four of us. My only suggestion would be, when it is time to replace the mattresses, perhaps a softer mattress would be more desirable.

Detroit Visit

We stopped in Detroit for a few nights before moving on to our final stop in Windsor. Andrews home was perfect for our family of 4. The neighborhood was very safe and peaceful. It is located in a great spot to visit all the must sees in Detroit. The home was as described and what the pictures show....no surprises. It was clean and well kept. We would stay here again when in Detroit. Andrew is a great host and was prompt in answering questions we had prior to arriving. Cant go wrong staying here!

Quiet, cozy, and clean!

What a pleasure to stay in this very comfortable, well equipped home! The neighborhood was very quiet and felt very safe. Close proximity and easy access to downtown Wyandotte and Riverfront parks. I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a down river Detroit location with easy access to major thorough affairs and expressways, but quiet in a safe and clean neighborhood.

Little getaway

We were coming to the area for a concert in Detroit. The house was located in a beautiful neighborhood and the property was just so cute. It was close enough to downtown, and there were a lot of places to go within walking distance. It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with friends.

Great spot for the family

The neighborhood was quiet, with plenty of options for local spots or chain restaurants nearby. The house was nice, clean and as described. Plenty of room for our family of four and our dog. The fenced in yard made having our dog with us nice and easy. Overall, a great place to stay, we enjoyed our time there!

Nice neighborhood, many parks, cute town

We enjoyed our stay. Especially the safely fenced in yard for our dog. Very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with equipment for cooking. Marie came promptly to our rescue when we locked the deadbolt without the key. Walkable neighborhood. Many lovely parks in the area that we enjoyed as well as many restaurants to try. Perfect spot

Booked this for a weekend trip back home. Great location, bigger than expected and super cute and accommodating. Will definitely be back. The care taker of the house was also very on top of things, we had snow and he was out there first thing in the morning salting and shoveling. Very well maintained inside and outside property.

Great place!

This is an awesome rental! My husband and I came from upstate NY with our dog to go to a lions game and visit our kids in Michigan. We were able to cook dinner and had enough space for all of us to eat and hang out. The yard is fenced in which is great for the dog! The neighborhood is nice and you can walk to many restaurants. I hope to come back some day!

A Comfy Stay at the Carriage House

The beds were comfortable and the linen clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and all appliances worked (fridge could be a bit colder). The television had plenty of streaming options and Alexa was there to answer our questions about weather, etc. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Very clean, nice facility, Excellent area, close to downtown Wyandotte, great places to eat, visit. Good access for where we wanted to visit. Older couples, didn't realize bathrooms were on both floor, but we manage well. Washer/Dryer was great. Ever here again, will definitely stay again. Thanks, Andrew and Marie's assistance.

Cute carriage house!

House was clean and decorated very cute. Kitchen a little small but is loaded with everything you need to cook. Our family enjoyed walking around town of Wyandotte. We also drove over to Detriot and spent a day walking around the city. We also enjoyed sitting on patio drinking coffee every morning.

CLEAN and Quiet !

Felt "at home" upon arrival. The kitchen was well appointed with quality cookware, utensils and a new dishwasher. Comfortable beds and a relaxing living room. Bathrooms were supplied with nice quality bathtowels and washcloths. We will be repeat guests if staying in the area.

This home was beautifully furnished, everything was available for our comfort. Freshly ground coffee too! Beds were very firm but they’re never like your own bed. Other than that, we were very satisfied. Quiet neighborhood as well.

Great place!

Had a great time here! It was hard to find a dog friendly place so this was awesome. Parking available for two cars in driveway, great yard/patio to relax on and have some drinks. Our dog loved laying outside on the grass and the cool pavement! Easy check in process and thank you for the list of restaurant/bar recommendations. Very clean and neighborhood is nice. We spent most of our time in downtown Detroit which is about 20-25 mins away, would def stay here again!
