A large home with room for everyone! Lake access is available for free at anytime right down the hill at Harry DeHaven Park. Park includes a swimming area, boat ramps, fishing pier, volleyball court and more! Back at the house enjoy relaxing on the front porch, hanging around fire pit, and cooking dinner on the charcoal grill or fully equipped kitchen.

35 minutes to Virginia Tech.
25 minutes to Radford University.
1 minute to the lake :)

Va Tech visit

Great place; a bit hard to find after driving 6hrs from VA Beach (we were tired) & a bit far from VaTech (reason for our stay).

Not quite what we expected, but a great stay at a great price

House was a little bit smaller than I expected from the pictures, but there was plenty of room for 10 people and a dog. Host was easy to work with from before check in until after checkout. The price for the stay was great compared to similar offerings. I did not expect to be up some winding roads in the mountains, but it was fine. Kids loved the decorations in the house and playing in the lake and cooking smores in the firepit. We would stay here again.

Perfect Lake House

Everything from the beginning to end was super simple and easy. House owners communicate very well. The property has everything you would need. For us when we showed up there was a charcoal grill with charcoal and a lighter. They had almost every seasoning in book for cooking. They had a fire pit, with skewers for hotdogs or marshmallows. They had plenty of towels on site for 10 people to go to the lake. The house had a washer and dryer so that way we can do laundry. they had a full dish ware set so that we didnt have to bring any. The kids had plenty of fun things to with games and the lake. The wifi works great!! The property has Deer on it that walk right up to the porch.The only blemishes we can really point out are projector in the kids room doesnt work. And the blessings and a curse is everything is a 30min drive away. We loved being so far out and being one with nature but if you need something from the grocery store its 30+ mins away. Still a perfect lake house and we have plans to come back next year. Thank you.

Lake getaway

The house location was great for our lake getaway! The house had everything we needed, including lake towels, and the kitchen was well stocked! The host had super communication.
