Mangrove Casita på Lac Bay ligger i en lugn miljö vid kanten av Bonaires naturliga marina bevarat (BNMP), begränsat i väster av vilda kunuku och tvärs över gatan i öster av Lac Bay. Vi är drygt en mil till det kända vindsurfing mekka (Jibe City och Bonaire Windsurf Place) vid Sorobon på Lac Bay.

Ett luftkonditionerat sovrum med king size-säng. Sovrummet öppnar sig genom dubbeldörrar till en öppen skärmad uteplats, vilket ger ventilation från landvindar.

Mangrove Casita är ett enkelt, komplett hem, perfekt för ett par, men rymmer upp till 2 extra gäster på de extra breda vardagsrumssofforna.

Fullt utrustat kök med gasugn och spis och kylskåp i full storlek. WiFi-router i lägenheten. Njut av frukost, te, läs eller gå online på baksidan eller på verandan med inbyggt sittplatser.

Scenisk strand tvärs över gatan ger fantastisk utsikt över Lac Bay men på grund av skyddad havsgröna livsmiljö är inte lämplig för simning.

Observera: daglig städning ingår inte, men vi tillhandahåller färskt sängkläder en gång i veckan.

Great value

We had a great week at Mangrove Casita. Marco met us at the airport and made sure we made it to our rental car and to the casita. He also gave us some great tips on dive sites, restaurants, and getting around the island. The house was clean and well kept with a comfortable bed and a small but surprisingly functional kitchen. Mid-week cleaning service was great and we had more fresh towels than we could use. The location is a bit of a drive from town but it's ideal for east coast diving or windsurfing. We found it to be very quiet and relaxing and had no trouble getting to restaurants and dive sites on the west side of the island. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Mangrove Casita again.

Highly recommended for the independent traveler

This property is exactly as described - cozy, surrounded by nature, and fully-prepared for guests. The location is ideal for the independent traveler, as you will have to arrange your own transportation, day trips and activities. This was a huge plus for us, as this is exactly the kind of vacation we were looking for. Being so close to Sorobon beach was perfect, and being just a 15-minute drive outside the hustle and bustle of town was great for a getaway. We always felt safe even though there are just a few other casitas/a hotel within walking distance. Wifi was strong and kitchen was fully stock with equipment for cooking. The AC in the bedroom is great to cool down when needed, but the doors/windows of the apartment allow for plenty of air circulation. The apartment was clean and ready for guests upon arrival. We plan to be back, and highly recommend this location to other visitors!

Outstanding Getaway Spot for Relaxing & Windsurfing

We stayed for 7 nights at Mangrove Casita and enjoyed the location, condo/casita, amenities and views immensely. The convenient location to Sorobon Beach Resort & Jibe City were ideal. My wife loved relaxing/swimming at Jibe City’s “Hangout Bar & Beach”, while I learned to windsurf. A superb place to windsurf for beginners and experienced windsurfers. We found the casita front porch ideal for our morning coffee & a view of Lac Bay. The couches were great for relaxing and sleeping (there were 3 of us) & the bedroom with AC very comfortable. The kitchen is well-fitted and the bathroom modern with an outstanding shower. Wifi/Internet is excellent. Easy driving distance to well-stocked supermarket & excellent restaurants in Kralendijk. Night visitors (wild donkeys) were definitely an added attraction! The condo & area are enjoyably quiet & peaceful. BTW, the water in Lac Bay is awesome…warm, clear & soooo blue! Our stay could not have been better! We look forward to returning to Mangrove Casita!

Nice stay

Quiet area. Easy to find. Close to flamingo viewing and windsurfing. Short drive to town. Nice hot shower. Kitchen well stocked. Good for our needs.

Mangrove Lac Bay Casitas.

I would never stay there again as you are right across from the mangrove trees and the no see ums ate me alive. Also, there is no hot water in the kitchen sink so have to heat water to do dishes. The hot water in the bathroom has to be turned on and off. If you are short you have to stand on a chair to turn it on. There is no barbecue, tv or washing machine which we thought it had. Plus side it is close to Lac Bay for the wind surfing and the Foodies restaurant which is delicious.

Nice studio apartment and perfect location

We very much enjoyed our week at Mangrove Casita! The studio apartment was cozy, fresh and comfortable, and the location felt private but not isolated. We loved the screened porch for our morning coffee while watching the various birds and hummingbirds. This is our second time staying in this area of the island and we returned here because of the peaceful feeling of being close to nature. We are windsurfers and it’s a short trip over to Jibe City, and the restaurant Foodies is also close by. The property manager Petra was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. We hope to return someday and highly recommend Mangrove Casita.

Great vacation here

This was my first time using VRBO and I am happy I chose this apartment. The owners wer friendly and answered my questions with a quick phone call. They had someone meet us at the airport and drive us to the apartment. It is exactly as pictured on the website. It is very close to Jibe City where my husband windsurfed. We rented mountain bikes and then traded in for a scooter, as you need a way to get around the island. We would recommend this place to other people looking for a laid back and quiet place to stay. Cleaners came twice during 14 days. It was perfect.
