Möblerad 3 sovrum WV VACATION HOME

Vackert fullt möblerade, 3 sovrum (sovrum 1 har en queen size-säng, sovrum 2 har en full size-säng och sovrum 3 har en full size-säng), plus en full sovsoffa i vardagsrummet (extra sängkläder och kuddar kan hittas i garderoben på hela badrummet), 1 1/2 bad "country getaway" hem i Talcott. Familj och husdjursvänlig! Förhandsgodkännande och djuravgift (en gång $ 25 per husdjur) krävs. Nyligen renoverat med alla bekvämligheter du förväntar dig. Lätt nått upp på backen från huvudvägen (Rt. 3 & 12) genom staden.

Barn och vuxna är stolta att sitta på däck och titta på tågen går. Det finns en järnvägskorsning längst ner på kullen och du kommer att höra tågflikar hela dagen och natten, vilket kan vara högt och störande. Tvärs över vägen och järnvägsspåret är den vackra Greenbrier River, perfekt för fiske, slangar och simning. Det finns allmän tillgång för att starta din båt, kanot, flottbåt eller kajak inom gångavstånd från huset. Njut av John Henry Days i juli och titta på paraden från wraparound-däcken, eftersom det gör sin tur.

Det är en kort 15-30 minuters bilresa till Pipestem State Park och Bluestone Lake och State Park och Greenbrier State Park i öster. Håll dig här och delta i The Greenbrier Classic, en av PGAs finaste golfturneringar som hålls årligen på det historiska Greenbrier Hotel i White Sulphur Springs, en kort bilresa bort. Spela golf där proffsen spelar på flera andra golfbanor. Delta i West Virginia State Fair i augusti.

Detta område är bra för alla årstider. Titta på West Virginia Hills byter från frodigt grönt till härliga nyanser av rött och guld i höst. Kort 35 minuters bilresa till Winterplace och 1 1/2 timmars bilresa till Snowshoe Mountain för skidåkare och snowboardåkare. Fira semester med vänner och familj.

Great family weekend

Cozy House

The property was as described, so we knew what to expect. The train can be a bit loud, but you get used to it. Our kids had a blast putting Pennie’s in the tracks.

Perfect Getaway

My family and I have stayed more than once and its always the same home feeling. The house has everything you need, the porch is amazing for hanging out and the view while eating from the kitchen table is beautiful. Close to lots of nature. Cant say enough great things

Very Nice Spot

Very nice spot in Talcott WV. House was clean and adequate space for family of 4 and dog. Check in was well detailed. The deck is very nice to enjoy the mountains.

Fabulous Place to Stay

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property. All the beds were comfortable and nice and clean. Plenty of large very clean towels. Very clean inside. Loved the large porches and using the grill. Thanks so much!

Great stay On The Hill

We stayed On The Hill over Labor Day weekend and we really enjoyed it. The house was well furnished with necessities and luxuries. It served our needs above and beyond. Hope to stay there again next year!! Thank you Sue Ray!!!

On the hill

Nice place! Comfortable and somewhat close to town. Sue Ray was excellent to work with when I needed some thing! Very tidy and neat! Even has a grill outside!

Beautiful West Virginia

We love this location, the owner provides all the necessities so that one can enjoy their stay in the house. The large wrap around porch provides a great view. The interior of the house is very well cared for, and very spacious. The three bedrooms are large enough for two people each. If you want a country get away this is the location for you.

Almost Heaven Up on the Hill!!!

Very good stay. The place must of had a previous party that smoked inside the house. Ashley warned us she couldn’t get the smell out. Near is a Big Lots and Big Lots Carrie’s Lysol, so we loaded up to make the smoke smell tolerable.

Super clean and spacious

Everything was perfect. The house was super clean and very spacious. I grew up not far from there so the train noise wasn’t an issue. Typically, few trains run at night. I would love to stay here again.

Quiet Stay in Talcott WV

Nice, quiet property, plenty of room. The periodic trains passing through nearby were not a bother. We saw deer on the property several times. We had one very minor issue during our 2-week stay, and the local property manager responded very quickly and fixed the problem right away. Great directions from the property owner. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Outstanding property

This property was beautiful and in a great location for us. My family owns property on the Greenbriar but for occasions like John Henry Days in Talcott, the cabin can get a little crowded so having this house available was wonderful. The view of the mountains in the morning is breathtaking and the very short walk to the river is wonderful. We loved it and plan to book again. I have two suggestions, one there needs to be a first aid kit somewhere as well as directions for rebooting the router. Again, great location for us and we will be back.

Peace and Rest in the Hills

We loved our one month stay in Talcott at this wonderful home. There was plenty of space to spread out and everything we needed to spend a month away from home. Our favorites were coffee on the huge deck in the morning, thunderstorms watched from the giant living room window, lightening bugs, trains, running around the yard and evening walks down the hill by the river. There is so much to do nearby, our favorites were Sandstone Falls, free movie Mondays at the Ritz theater in Hinton and the giant inflatable lake waterpark at Pipestem Resort State Park. Bed linens were high quality and comfy and we all slept great! Host was incredibly responsive, we won’t forget this trip.

Terrific!

If Sue ever wants to sell, let me know! Her place was homey, comfy, and, well, perfect for our needs. I grew up every summer in this area and was delighted to reconnect. Sue's house was fully equipped .... all you needed was your food. Immaculately clean, well appointed. Any questions were promptly answered. There is nothing negative we can stay and hopefully will return soon.
