Great place to stay for 2-4 people. Good A/C. Gorgeous views. Comfortable overall and right on the river on a quiet, safe, and private road.

Quick Get-Away

It was nice and peaceful and we loved being right on the river. We took a ride over to Kinzua dam and reservoir and the scenery was just so beautiful.

Relaxing getaway

The place was better than advertised.I had a great time. Steven was very receptive and handled any questions I had very quickly. I hope to have the opportunity to stay there again.

Great Stay

I really enjoyed my time here. AC and TV worked just fine, kitchen was great, there's a coffee pot, and tea kettle. There is a private entrance to the upstairs, but one does need to open the garage door to get in and out of the room, and the house itself is close to other properties on a private drive. Altogether, it was a lovely stay on the Allegheny - definitely recommend bringing a watercraft if you have one as it's a perfect place to launch from and possibly explore or fish from nearby islands.

Nice place. Needs tweaking.

We have nothing negative to say about the actual space. The interior was very nicely finished and the view from the little deck was lovely. However, we have stayed in many VRBO rentals, and every other one had a book of instructions on how things worked and what the host would like you to know. This one had nothing. The TV would not go on and we tried everything we knew, but to no avail. The biggest deterrent was that it happened to be very hot and there was only one small air conditioner in the bedroom that did almost nothing. We left a night early because we couldn't stand the heat. My advice would be to get together a book of instructions and procedures to help guests know where things are and how to work them. Also, I think the host should invest in central air or at the very least, several more units.

It was beautiful and a good deal. Host was responsive, property was homey and livable. Exactly like the pictures, and we were quite comfortable. The ac kept us cool, the appliances worked, and the bed was comfortable.
