Straddling the UNESCO World Heritage Lavaux wine region and the bucolic Vaud countryside of rolling green hills, this apartment has a strategic location. You can walk the trails from the apartment, visit the vineyards, or take the boat on Lac LĂ©man.
Train: Lausanne (10 min), GenĂšve (1hr), Zurich (3 hrs). Car: Montreux (20 min), Verbier (1 hr), GruyĂšres (40 min).
The space
Built in a renovated country home, dating back to the 18th century, this apartment retains all its old-world charm. Wooden hardwood floors, exposed beams, and decor create a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the two large bedrooms as well as a modern bathroom. Find yourself in a comfortable living room with two sofas including a sofa bed. Prepare a nice meal in the fully renovated kitchen with top line appliances. The courtyard and table are shared with the upper level apartment.
This apartment occupies the two bottom floors of a private residence (entry is from the courtyard), so it is not appropriate for parties. It is a wonderful space that provides calm and access to nature, all within close reach of the top tourist destinations of the region.
The tourist tax, collected by the Swiss municipalities, is applicable to all stays in the Swiss territory. It helps fund the cultural, tourist, and sporting infrastructure that enrich your stay.
