Overall great location, place was clean, it’s in the heart of the Fishtown activity, all walkable places. Noise, the elevated train was an issue. Ear plugs did help. Thank you

Location to shopping, restaurants, and the Filmore was great. Parking lot was steps away and easy to navigate. As all reviews say and listing explains, train is noisy but did not run for 5 hrs overnight. Enough to get enough rest before heading out. Place is perfect for a quick stay!

The studio is really comfortable and situated in a dynamic and friendly neighborhood. I had absolutely no problem sleeping without earplugs and felt at home. If you’re not sensitive to the sound of the elevated train (it’s pretty loud, as described), I strongly recommend the studio!

Location had nearby subway access, and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within a short walk. Check-in process was a breeze, and the room was cozy without being cramped. Weekend nightlife and elevated train did get noisy, but didn't run super late. Earplugs helped.

There was am overwhelming smell of mold from water damage. It was hard to be in the room. There were obvious stains on the carpet from water damage and black mold by the front doorway. There was an air diffuser to temporize the smell rather than fix the real problem. There were baby cockroaches in the bathroom by the shower and toilet. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were poor and there's standing water with a clogged drain. It would be helpful if the espresso pods weren't all decaff too..but bed sheets were seemingly clean. Addressed issues with the owner who stated he was aware of the stain. A property owner should take care of any hazard conditions like water damage, mold, ventilation, water not draining and bugs. We left a night early due to a family issue but wouldn't have stayed another night. Not sure why previous reviews stated this place was pleasant. Location was decent. Room was obviously affordable. Fix the health issues and its fine. Owner was dismissive about "a stain on the carpet" and gave a partial refund because a cleaning charge. Did the cleaning company also advise of this issue?

Guest tried to weasel out of the reservation as soon as she arrived. Some story about a problem with her son. Toxic person. Don’t believe the lies.

Description and photos set appropriate expectations. Yes, there is an elevated train outside the door. Did it bother us? No, we were expecting it and being close to a stop was an added plus for touring the city. The studio was clean, the host communicated quickly and clearly when the VRBO website didn't so that we had no delay in checking in, the toiletry amenities were unexpected and thoughtful, and the prepared notebook of options for restaurants and places to visit was appreciated. Only thing we would have wished for was an electric teakettle, the coffeemaker wasn't really a good option if you just want hot water but we managed. Certainly not worth knocking down an otherwise 5 star review.

Location cannot be beat

Great little place which is set up well. As mentioned in the description, the train is loud but easily got used to it and it was easy to sleep or relax during the day even when trains were going by.

Parking can be a bit tricky with the area, but vrbo itself is exactly what you need for a quick overnight stay in the city!

Great location

Continent location, clean and comfy. Would be staying here again! Parking was easy and there are so many gems in this neighborhood. Train was a little loud but wasn’t the worst.

This place was exactly what I needed for a quick overnight stay after traveling in to Philly. Super easy to get to without needing a car, it’s very close to an L station. Lively neighborhood, I had a great time. Yes the train is loud when it rolls by, but I could manage since it did stop late at night. Great value here.
