Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the ultimate lake life getaway at The Lake House on Bass! Nestled in a serene and quiet neighborhood, between two quaint towns of Park Rapids and Detroit Lakes. The house has 3 bedrooms; one king bed and two queen beds. You'll have plenty of space to relax and unwind. The house is located just 15 minutes from Osage, which has a full grocery store, gas, bait, and restaurant!
Whether you're exploring the lake or just taking it easy in the cozy beach, The Lake House provides the perfect rustic, nature retreat in north woods of Minnesota. We are rural and you should expect to have mother nature just outside. Deer roam through the yard, resident eagle and loons, birds chirping, insects, butterflies and moths, frogs hopping, and all that you would imagine from mother nature.
You can enjoy two different circular seating area with firepits, one on the upper hill and one nestled below the hill next to the swim beach. The front yard is nice and flat for your favorite yard games and ample parking for your trailer. Fishing is excellent right off the dock. Plus, with three kayaks, three paddleboards, a paddleboat, swim raft, and various water toys available for you to use, you'll never run out of things to do.
The boat launch and second swimming beach are just 1.5 miles down the road, directly across from the property. And if you're looking for some land adventures, there's walking and hiking trails nearby in the Smokey Hills State Forest! When it comes to dining, some of the best places are within a 15-minute drive and are also accessible via snowmobile and four wheeler/UTV trail systems. Smokey Hills State Forest OHV and Two Inlets State Forest connects to many miles of state and local trail systems, the trail head is just a half mile away with easy access.
