Sitting on one of the largest lakes in Maine and, surrounded by 300 acres of conservation land, our home is the perfect place to escape to with family & friends.

This newly built 4 bedroom 3 bath home offers a great space to relax in a secluded natural setting, while being only minutes from all the modern conveniences in town.

Graham Lake, downtown Ellsworth, nearby Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor have so much to offer. Swim or fish in the lake - take the family for a hike under the pines - shop and dine at local boutiques and restaurants - see the sunrise above Cadillac Mountain and so much more.

Wonderful location

We really enjoyed the location of the house and its setting. It was remote enough to feel like you were in a wilderness paradise, yet close enough to Acadia national Park, where we ventured almost every day. A great place to come home too after a day of hiking and sightseeing.

Beautiful!

What a lovely place to stay, it had everything that we needed, plenty of space and beds! The host was very communicative and friendly. Having a huge private beach was amazing! The water is warm and shallow. However the bottom is very squishy, I think because there's a lot of clay, so bring water shoes. Other than that the only other thing I can think of was there did seem to be multiple cameras on the outside of the property. I totally understand why and have no problem with that. However I feel that it should have been mentioned somewhere, but it wasn't. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Josh’s house was beautiful being very new and clean. We really liked the layout and roominess. We felt uncomfortable about all the security cameras/game cameras around the property. It seemed as though many were pointed towards the windows and some windows did not have coverings. We did not use the master shower for this reason. The cameras felt very invasive. We also found the beach and lake hard to use. It was mostly just mud and not swimmable.The yard is not ready to be used and is still a new construction site.

The perfect family vacation spot

This house was the perfect set up for two families. We loved watching the sunsets on the lake. There is a nice solo stove on the deck for bonfires. They have a blackstone which was perfect for a couple of our dinners. The host reaponded very quickly to our questions. We visited Acadia a couple times and Bar Harbor (maybe save Bar Harbor for a weekday) which was about a 45 minute drive. Went to Stonington and kayaked around the islands. We did get passes for the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain but the weather was terrible and we couldn’t see the sunrise since the fog was so bad. We were bummed about that! Great restaurant options in Ellsworth. We had dinner at Union River Lobster Pot and breakfast at Riverside Cafe. Lots of great seafood options on the way to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The only negative thing I would say about our stay was the house does not have AC and some of the days/nights got a little warm.They do have box fans in all the rooms so we took advantage of those. Would definitely visit Maine again and stay at this spot.

Beautiful and quiet lakefront home

We really loved the setting of the home - enjoyed several dinners out on the deck; took pictures of sunsets; played games together; drove to Acadia for lots of hiking. Thankful for a nice home layout that accommodated our family of 5 very well.

Peaceful Lake House!

We had the lucky opportunity to stay in this lovely ,private lake house in July 2024. The location was ideal, the lake was awesome. The fishermen enjoyed the lake, as well as the kids. A great shallow beach for swimming. The house is new, so everything was pristine. About a 40 minute drive to Acadia/Bar Harbor. The owner was very helpful and quick to answer any questions. We did happen to be there during "the heat wave", so having no air conditioning was our only complication. We would definitely stay there again if ever in Maine.

Our family reunion at “Joshua Property” in the ancient woods of Maine was nothing short of magical. Nestled among towering pines, this secluded haven offered a view that stretched over graham lake—a canvas of tranquility. From the moment we arrived, our host’s thoughtful gesture awaited us: a bottle of wine on the table. Its warmth mirrored the embrace of the forest around us. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we gathered around the solar stove, flames dancing, stories intertwining. Our three families—my wife and I, along with her two sisters’ families—laughed, reminisced, and reveled in each other’s company. The scent of pine mingled with shared memories, and the lake whispered its secrets. From sunrise to sunset, we found solace in the ancient woods. The fire crackled, casting shadows on our faces—the flicker of flames echoing the bonds we rekindled. And as the stars emerged, we traced constellations, connecting our lives to the vastness of the universe. “Joshua Property” became more than a house; it became our sanctuary—a place where laughter echoed through the trees, where stories were etched into the very fabric of the forest. We left with hearts full, knowing that this tranquil retreat would forever hold a special place in our family’s story.

Awesome stay close to Acadia

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Joshua’s property! The house was clean, well-maintained, and provided all the comforts we needed for a relaxing getaway. The detailed instructions Joshua provided made our arrival and stay seamless. The location was perfect for exploring the area; we particularly enjoyed hiking Cadillac Summit and Jordan Lake, which offered breathtaking sights. The private beach access was a wonderful bonus, and we had a great time. Joshua’s thoughtful touch of leaving a bottle of red wine for us was much appreciated and added to our enjoyment. Communication was smooth and prompt, and Joshua was always available to answer any questions we had. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend staying at Joshua’s property. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Joshua!
