Vacker Lake Michigan Hem på 200 fötter av Pristine Lake Michigan Beach

Detta är ett vackert hem, inbäddat i skogen, på 200 meter avskild Lake Michigan-kustlinjen. Det finns ett stort däck och en hängande trä gångväg till stranden. Bra läge för höstfärg, sommarstranden, jakt och fiske och vintersport. Vi välkomnar familjer till vårt hem, detta är en härlig lugn familj strandområde.

Det finns fyra sovrum med queen size-sängar och en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Det finns två fulla bad och ett härligt öppet kök, matsal, bra rum med stora fönster med utsikt över sjön. Huset är välfyllt med alla krukor och pannor, tallrikar, ugn, mikrovågsugn, gasgrill, örter och kryddor samt kaffe- och tekannor. Alla sängar kommer att göras med färskt sängkläder, alla handdukar för strand och badrum finns också.

Det finns en DVD-spelare och TV, och massor av kort och spel och ett stereo- och musikval. Båten är utmärkt för paddling eller paddling på sommaren och det finns stigar för skidåkning och snöskoter under vintern. Höstfärgsäsongen är underbar.

Det finns många sevärdheter i köravstånd, däribland Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, många statsparker, glasbottens båtturer, vattenfall, djurliv och fiske, båtliv, paddling, längdskidåkning och snöskoter.

Summer week at a UP lakeshore

Great beach and sheltered bay location on Lake Michigan. Everyone had a good time at the beach and kayaking on the lake. Still hade some black flies the 1st week in July. Home supplied with toys, beach chairs and kitchen was well equipped - better than most rentals. Wonderful views from the deck.

Beautiful and peaceful.

This is a beautiful house and location. The house was clean and had absolutely everything you needed. The beach was perfect and close. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Nice place. Well-stocked. Great beach access. Could use one comfortable king-size bed. Overall fantastic beach access. Swam in Lake MI on October 1 and it was amazingly warm.

Perfect Location

I cannot say enough great things about this property! Everything was perfect. Even with all the horrible erosion of the Great Lakes we still had plenty of beach to enjoy. The house is exactly as shown and so comfortable. We will definitely be coming again!!

incredible lake house!

The views through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room are gorgeous onto Lake Michigan. The house is situated on a nice sandy beach, great for sun bathing and swimming. Everything that we needed was there, and we were very comfortable. We loved it!

Comfortable Relaxing Family Getaway

My family of 8 and two small children had a wonderful stay. There is plenty of space and all the comforts of home. The house was very clean, well stocked with everything you need, even extra air mattress and cots for kids, and the owners and caretakers are very friendly and responsive. Beach right out the front door with amazing views. We went for long walks on the beach everyday even though we stayed during some untimely weather :) Loved it and will be back!!!

Perfect getaway

I was a little throw off upon arrival because of the heavily wooded area and mosquitoes. That all went away when I walked to the front of the house and seen the view. Absolutely amazing and super relaxing. The house was stocked with everything we needed! The lake blew in the perfect breeze at night.

Paradise restored!

We found a gem on the beach of Lake Michigan! The beautiful home had everything we needed to be very comfortable! The home is immaculately clean and views are gorgeous from the house! We cannot thank you enough Hilary for allowing us the opportunity to have a vacation we will treasure! Hope to return next year!

Great spot on the lake!

We had a great time here. There was plenty of amenities like floaties, beach chairs, condiments and more to make coming to visit easy breezy. We had a great time on the beach which was one of the biggest along the bay. The kids enjoyed the endless games available in the cabin especially the legos. The dogs had a great time swimming and playing fetch against the waves. We loved the large windows that gave us an amazing lakeside view and the bedroom off the deck was nice to hear the waves at night.

Gulliver/Manistique Home on the lake.

Home was perfect for our family vacation. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is here. Hillary was a great communicator and checked in with us and even apologized for something MotherNature did. I wish the VRBO app. was as responsive as Hillary was for us. We are making plans to return next year. This is the place to RELAX and ENJOY.

Beautiful and tranquil home away from home

Thanks to the Robinson family for sharing their wonderful family home with us. The house was clean with a fully stocked kitchen, and the view from the main family room was spectacular. The pandemic canceled all of our out of state vacation plans, and after being cooped up in our house for months, this beach house was an oasis. The only minor downside was the wifi was too slow for work/school related video conferencing, and there is no cell reception in the house. We took long walks along the beach every day despite the fact that we stayed in early January. The stars are brilliant at night up there and should not be missed. We will definitely be back!

2nd time at Hilary’s house

This rental is a home with an incredible view of Lake Michigan. Every kitchen tool is stocked in this home so that the only thing you’ll need on your vacation, is your clothing and one stop at the grocery store, which is only about 10 minutes away. I recommend taking the hour drive to Munising. Pictured Rocks is beautiful and the beach there is so pretty and looks similar to the Caribbean. You won’t want to leave. The house is a great location for taking a day trip elsewhere but the beach at this property is so peaceful and soothes your soul. Their were renters on both sides of us and with the exception of setting off firecrackers for the 4th of July, we didn’t see them the entire week. We saw a couple beach walkers but basically had the beach to ourselves for the whole week. The lake changes day to day. We had lots of seaweed for two days but after that the water was clear and strangely enough the beach was clear too. We had good boogie boarding waves for a couple days, choppy waves for a few days, and stillness. We arrived to a clean house and we left the house clean on our departure. The house is simple but comfortable and has everything you need. Please take care of it so it stays just as it is. It has great energy and has obviously been loved by the Robinson Family. The only thing I would change is the town of Manistique. Don’t believe the reviews about Toby‘s food truck. Lol. Trust me on that one and just don’t go. There are few restaurants in the area so you will be cooking. The local pizza place is just ok. The cafe is good but we are not sandwich loving people so it wasn’t for us. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to spend with family on your private beach where you can take your dog this is the place.

Restful few days, gorgeous view

We would stay at Hilary’s place again and that says a lot because we like to experience new places. However, you can not beat this view and beach. We kept commenting how beautiful it was and loved the big windows looking out onto Lake MI. This is a family home and to be respected as such, no parties or loud gatherings and it’s a place to enjoy the quiet and enjoy family for a week. There isn’t much to do in Manistique in Oct, which is when we stayed and it’s not a lively town during the summer either. If you like to cook in and enjoy walking the beach and playing in the water, then Hilary’s place is perfect. It was perfect for us during COVID. It was one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed in, the best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in, had some fun games for our tween daughter and friend to play, plenty of towels, essentials like dish soap, laundry detergent, sponges and dish towels, and shampoo. Beds were firm and we slept OK. The house is a little dated but that does not take away from the beauty of it. What would make this house incredible would be luxury vinyl flooring, neutral paint colors, and maybe granite in the kitchen but that is all. The house is very nice as it is and has been taken care of and loved. The 2 bathrooms are very clean and newer and the kitchen is great. We made smoothies, baked a Bundt cake, and cooked in for several days. The kitchen does not lack a thing. The beach is picturesque and walkable. We had fun even in Oct and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The 2 dogs loved it too. The one thing we have noticed about Manistique that is a negative, is that occasionally the water that comes out of the tap has an odor to it. I have a good nose and that bothers me but it didn’t bother my husband, even though he did notice it. My daughter didn’t notice it. We have stayed in Manistique before, at another house, and the odor was much stronger. It wasn’t as noticeable in Hilary‘s house.

Great beach, lots of room!

We had a fantastic time on the beach at Michibay. Highlights include seeing a bald eagle, watching the hummingbirds (they have a feeder and those birds wanted the Yums!), observing over 1,000 Monarchs migrate, dragonflies, and even seeing a group of piping plovers. We had some unprecedented wind, so the water went from wild and choppy to calm and back. Our kids 4 and 7 loved playing on the beach, even with the high lake levels there was plenty of room for sand castles, dump trucks and kites. We enjoyed visiting Kitchi-iti-kipi and had planned to get to Pictured Rocks, but the wind foiled our plans! The home has beautiful windows to view the lake and a large deck with easy walkway access to the beach. They had a fire pit on the beach also and watching the moon rise with a warm fire over the beach was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked, although somewhat disorganized which made it hard to find things, but eventually we did. Plenty of spices and baking items for use also. The four bedrooms have double beds, which was ok for us but might be an issue for others if you need a larger bed. We had such a great trip, that I hate to put a negative on anything, however, these were the things that we didn’t love: The house was generally dated. There were broken doors and windows that had “do not open” signs marked, but with all of that wind, they became ajar. We let the home owner know, so I’m sure they’ll fix it soon. Again, while the kitchen was fully stocked, it was hard to find things or know where to put them back, which took extra time when cooking and took away from feeling relaxed. We were hoping for a cute quaint town in Manistique, but found it to be run down without the type of artisan shops/bakeries you hope for in a small town. The lighthouse has a treacherous walk and is not well suited for visitors. We did enjoy riding bikes down the paved path alongside the lake! Overall, we had a great time on Michibay. It’s so hard to find a view and a beach like this one, with lake levels on the rise!

AMAZING -Everything you need is here!

This house has it all- spacious, 2 spacious living areas, 4 nice size bedrooms, FULLY stocked kitchen, 2 large bathrooms, laundry, games, DVD and of course the best beach ever!!! Sandy, quiet as not many houses around, plenty of beach chairs, toys and floats. There were plenty of nice touches such as soaps, conditioners, first aide, laundry soap, garbage bags and many condiments, spices etc. there is plenty to do or just sit on the deck or beach to enjoy “Pure Michigan”. We never needed to contact anyone for help; but numbers were available. Hilary was fabulous to book and work with. We have been renting for the past 40 summers throughout Mich. this is the best home yet. One thing to keep in mind is that you are in the UP so mosquitoes are plenty. Use bug spray, or keep to the beach/deck where the wind helps to keep them away. You can also sit inside and enjoy the tranquility of Lake Mi as the large windows allow you to relax and enjoy!!

Relaxing and comfortable stay on the lake

We had a lovely stay at this clean, comfortable, and well equipped home. The beach in front of the house is fantastic and we had it completely to ourselves. Our kids had a wonderful time between exploring the beautiful beach and playing with the many toys and games provided at the house. We did lovely day trips to Tahquamenon falls, pictured rocks and Fayette. The only issue was the million mosquitoes that roamed everywhere, but I believe this is typical in the UP at this time of year, so just something to be aware of if planning a trip in late May.
