A house of magic and imagination for young and old. Book yourself into this unique house of witchcraft and wizardry to experience a spellbinding breakaway in the historical City of York. Experience a staycation like no other in this unique, one-of-a-kind house next to The York Racecourse, a stone's throw to the City Centre. Spend a night in the iconic Emerald Bedchamber, snuggle up on the sofa in the Victorian Reading Room and indulge in a bubble bath in our stunning Bathroom.

People booking must note that the staircase to the 1st floor is the original staircase, and it is a little on the steep side. For those who have mobility issues, please bear this in mind.

Hi, Iâm Hannah â part interior designer, part witch at heart. I created this house out of a lifelong love for all things magical, from Harry Potter books and witchy movies. This space is my tribute to the worlds I got lost in growing up. Whether youâre here to cast spells, sip tea by candlelight, or just escape the Muggle world for a bit, youâre in for a treat. I hope you feel the magic as much as I did creating it!

I chose this neighbourhood because the property had just the right mix of charm and character. Tucked away yet close enough to explore the historical city of York, it feels like a secret spot waiting to be discovered. Thereâs a real sense of community here, with lovely walks, cosy cafĂ©s, and hidden gems that feel straight out of a storybook. It was the ideal place to bring my magical vision to life!
