Nice place to stay with family

We enjoyed our stay. Super cute and clean. Youngest grandson enjoyed watching and feeding the fish. Had everything we needed. Anita was very helpful telling us some of the local fun stuff to do. If we are ever back in the area will definitely stay again.

Great stay in Kearney

Very comfortable place to stay while checking out the cranes in Kearney. It's fun to come home and hang out with the fish and Anita is a great host.

In town for graduation

Taylor made for our large group!

We found the property to be super clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated a top a picturesque hill. All amenities were available and shopping and restaurants or close by.

Outdoor Women Reunion

The view from the patio was amazing! So relaxing and peaceful. Friends enjoyed sitting on patio and visiting. Saw deer running in field. Host was great! Told us about Yaney Botanical Gardens which were amazing . Would highly recommend .

Rental went very smoothly; I previously requested the wrong dates (by one week) and Anita graciously was able to change our reservation. We would rent this property again.

Home Base Evening Shutdown

We were in town to explor the History of the area. Starting with the Pioneer Musium. The house was a convieniet location to umwind after a day of walking. The house is decorated like a beach house, which doesn't fit well for the area, but we didn't really care. The Aquarium Coffee Table in the livingroom was i teresting. All our needs were there for us to prepare a meal and a plesent patio for morning coffee and evening conversation. The only strugle we had was the inability to connect to some sort of movie app in the living room so we could enjoy more than the local news. The Fireplace does not work and there was no heat other than each individual room heater. We will come back if our travels bring us this way.

Crane vacation!

We visited Kearney to witness the sandhill cranes stopping for a few weeks along the Platte River during their migration from Texas and points south to Canada and Alaska. Seas the Day was a perfect abode for me, my mother, and my brother (all 45+ years old) to stage our visit. Anita was a lovely hostess, and we really appreciated the farm fresh eggs for breakfast!

Happy family

We absolutely loved this home. It was so comfortable and accommodating. It had everything you could possibly want and the hostess had such a wonderful personality. She did everything she could to accommodate us with our special needs. There were six of us in our group and there was so much space and room for everyone. We were all very happy and enjoy the location and privacy of the area as well. We definitely hope to come back again.

Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Seas the Day! We were in town for a family wedding and this was our home base. Anita was wonderful!! Our family of five (kids 16, 14 and 4) had plenty of space to spread out and relax after busy days. Our 4 year old loved having space to play outside and the fish were a big hit! We had everything we could have wanted or needed - Anita thought of everything - and we wished we could have stayed longer! Even the teenagers were happy!! Thanks, Anita! We hope to be back!

Great Place

The place was good overall. The rental is the basement of a house rather than the entirety of the house, which wasn't mentioned in the listing. The lock to the sliding door was broken, but still useable. The owner wanted to come in and make sure the murphy bed was locked into place once we arrived. We managed to do it ourselves (it was easy), but felt uneasy about the owner wanting to come in during our stay. The place was great overall. Large backyard and nice views. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean. We would stay here again.

Wonderful setting for college reunion

The house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a college reunion weekend. The seven of us especially enjoyed the patio’s peaceful views and wildlife, including dickcissel, western meadowlark, and several toads. The kitchen was a little small but we didn’t mind because it reminded us of our college days of tight quarters :) Anita communicated well and was so easy to work with. She made us feel welcome. We would stay again!

Twelve years ago, I chose this location to build a home for my children. We had moved to town, and I missed the farms where I had grown up and lived until then. I moved a house from town and added a master suite and walk out basement, carefully choosing the positioning of the house and windows to maximize the open view.

Guests have especially appreciated the cozy and relaxing environment -- indoors and out. The unique beach theme and tastefully done decor give the home a welcoming feel not found elsewhere in the area. The area is secluded with picturesque views of rolling hills, yet access to the business and entertainment venues in town is convenient.
