Dated but fine

This property is a bit dated but was fine for our family for a summer getaway. The location was great near the SHARC and on the trials.

Very Rustic Cabin

Older cabin with lots of room for family. Water park and pool close to the cabin for the kids, cabin supplies access cards for up to 8 people. The nearby Village has almost everything you need but a bit pricier than town stores. The nearby brewery is very nice. No A/C in the cabin, but each room has a portable fan. Kids liked the bikes that were available.

This home is comfortable, clean and in a great location. Unfortunately we were not able to stay there due to an electrical issue we discovered upon our arrival. Sunriver had experienced a storm, and half of the house was without power! The property management company was prompt to respond to our call, and within a couple of hours, they moved us to another home. They even advocated for us with the owner to allow our two dogs since the house they found for us does not usually take pets. We were very appreciative!

Great location

Great location. Easy walk to the SHARC and park. Clean with all supplies you could need. 3 adult size mountain bikes (10 year old made it work), 1 kid bike, bbq.

Will not stay here again .

The home was so cold due to the doors are not tight and you can see outside the bottom of the door. There is nothing that welcomes you to this home the furniture was old . Mattresses exposed and torn . We went to bed earlier just to get warm . The fireplace is nice but can’t keep up with Al the cold air going out under the doors . No thought I’d put into this home by the owners to make you comfortable .

Our stay

Close to the SHARC. House - provided all that was needed. On smaller side but comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 3 kids. Upstairs was ideal for kids. Downstairs good for adults. House a little on the outdated side. Issues - ran into a couple: fan in downstairs bath makes loud noise. Chose not to use. Dryer did not work. Reported both along with need of additional toilet paper/paper towels. Mgmt. looked at dryer immediately and ended up being a part they needed to order. Told to hold the dryer door closed tight to ensure dryer worked until could be fixed which could not occur during our stay. Fan not acknowledged. Nothing that ruined our stay, very minor inconveniences. Mgmt. provided additional toilet paper and paper towels immediately. Material regarding home not fully updated. Conflicting messages regarding SHARC. Advertised as inclusive but rental material and renting guide indicated the opposite. This was important to us as we had kids so felt the need to confirm this house included SHARC passes. It did and passes were readily available. Cleanliness was ok. Very dusty…could see some areas not touched/dusted for long periods of time. Overall, our stay was positive. Would rent again.

Great location

The place was in a good location to all sunriver has to offer. We were a bit sad about the cleanliness of the place. We know we could of contacted them to clean it but we felt like them coming in would have disrupted our vacation so we cleaned it ourselves. Their were bottles from precious guests under couch, curtains, and in closets. And the top of the fridge had yellow crumbles every where. The fridge, and the rest if the kitchen was very clean. During covid 19 i think i just expected a bit of a higher standard from cthe cleaning crew. Im not sure if its an outside hire or cascara directly. But i would reccomend to find a new cleaning crew or be triple checking their work. Sunriver is great so thisq issue was quickly resolved. And enjoyed our stay.

4 day stay in the Landrise 7 rerntal

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 7th year in a row to stay in Sun River for a family New Year's trip. We arrived by check in time, but the house wasn't ready to occupy until after 5:00.The furnishings are older and somewhat worn, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. The dish washer heating element does not automatically shut off, so we returned to the house to the heated plastic smell. Discovering that, we only ran it when we could be there to manually shut it off. It was listed as unlimited access to the SHARK. When we went to work out, we were told we do not have access to the exercise equipment. T'his needs to be spelled out clearly in the description of the rental amenities. The wheels on the sliding door by the dining room table need to be repaired. It's very difficult to open and shut. I told the staff person when we checked out about these conditions, and she didn't seemed concerned. We love the walking , village, and will return to Sun River again, but probably not through Cascara.

Great Location and Value

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here with our 4grandkids and 2 daughters and 1 dog. For a small home it was surprisingly roomy. It's obviously a very well used rental. While things are very used and in need of updating it is clean and functional. The dining area was great, bedrooms worked for us and living area was tight but okay. The kitchen was my main complaint. It's very small and difficult for more than one person to move around in. I understand that when you rent a place out it's difficult to stock a kitchen without things disappearing all the time. However, this kitchen was just lacking in so many basic utensils and equipment it made cooking and eating difficult. There was not enough flatware to eat more than one meal without washing dishes and while there was a plethora of knives not one of them could slice butter! We had a great time. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the SHARC. I think we would stay here again but bring our own kitchen items.

Cozy but needs some love

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a good location,about one mile from the village. When we arrived the gas fireplace did not work and it did not get fixed until the next day. The dishes were not very clean and two of the dining room chairs were so broken you couldn't even sit in them. Although the house sleeps ten and has plenty of beds the kitchen and living room are very small. Also there was large plywood boards covering the two large windows in the living and dining room. I Understand that they were protecting the house from snow but it would have been nice to see out. All and all we made the best of it but I would not rent this house again. I will say the guy who came to fix the fireplace was very nice.

Not up to Sunriver standards

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. We knew there was no air conditioning. They had plenty of fans. The kitchen and all the accessories ,or lack of,were a disappointment. They listed for bikes. Two were children's. One needed mechanical work. The grill was missing some screws. This made it very unsteady. The deck had only for outside chairs. And was very creaky. It seemed like all of the nice things about the rental had been stolen already. The place would probably be very good for a stay in the winter time. The beds were not very comfortable. All in all we made the most of our vacation.

Family of 5 Summer vacay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on Landrise Ln before -- the location can not be beat! It's a safe distance for our 10 & 8 yr old to venture into the village/SHARC on their own, yet quiet enough where the 4 yr old could play safely outside without worry. This place checks all the boxes - awesome location, 3 bedroom, pet friendly, SHARC passes & reasonable price. The new queen beds are super comfy but the rest of the furniture leaves something to be desired. Dresser drawers are difficult to open, knobs are missing, night stand tables don't match, etc. The TVs and stereo are easily 15 Yrs old. It has the feel of somone's 2nd home where furniture is retired, whether there's an actual purpose for it or not, such as the keyboard in the dining area or the random coffee table jammed in a corner, multiple toasters, electric can openers, etc. Given the modest sq footage & storage space, a little de-cluttering would have a big impact. I would consider for another summer visit but wouldn't book it for a winter getaway where we'd spend more time inside.

Great Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you want to do a lot of time at SHARC, this is a great location - very quick and easy to get to. House had lots of beds and sleeping options, furniture was clean and comfortable. It's a good value for the price - close to SHARC, unlimited passes, easy to use. An investment of $500-$1000 dollars to replace/upgrade a few things such as: VCR/DVD combo so old it won't play new DVD's, ancient sound system that has cassette player and doesn't work at all, ancient gross broom, etc. Just a little freshening up on the owner's part would go a long way. Overall, though, very pleasant stay, and would go back to this house!

Great Location, but that's it

The bathrooms were very dirty, the TV is terrible, and I picked up Trash all the way around the house. Definitely there is a lot of deferred maintenance. The 1970's called.....they would like their house back!

Our family stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay - property was a walk to sharc and a short bike ride to the village - great location. The few complaints we would have is the queen beds were super uncomfortable - my husband and I after the the middle of the second night had to sleep in separate queens so we wouldn't keep waking each other up. Second the windows where all the bunk bed room is, are very unsafe for children. One was missing a screen, both were lower than the mattresses on the bed and for little children aren't the safest locations, one is aligned right next to the bed. We worked with it and had our older daughter sleep next to that one. We also had to turn the fridge up a notch on the temperature that it was at because it froze a bunch of our food. But besides those things it was a great home for the price and we made things work for us, and loved the sharc passes. Thanks so much!

Mixed Bag

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an older house, so we weren't expecting "all mod cons." However, when we arrived, there were crumbs all over the furniture, garbage in the decorative baskets, old water bottles and trash under the upstairs beds, and popcorn under the couch. Also, there was a note on the fridge that the temperature was NOT to be adjusted. However, it was set so cold that it froze (and ruined!) half our food that we brought with us, including our eggs (frozen solid), expensive almond milk (also frozen, which ruins it), and other things. The location was great, the deck was wonderfully peaceful, and we still had a good time. But I would not choose this rental again in future.

Another wonderful vacation in Sunriver.

Reviewer Comments: The rental agency was very accommodating considering we had to switch houses. The original house we rented did not include SHARC passes. That said, it would be nice if the house sleeps a certain amount, the SHARC passes should match.
