During this stay, the guest also reached out midway through the reservation regarding the pet fee. This is a VERY cute house which is decorated and updated nicely. The kitchen has everything you need if you're going to make meals. The location is fantastic - close to restaurants and an easy drive to several attractions. Quiet neighborhood and nice yard to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and the covered porch is fantastic if you want to stay away from the bugs!Parking in the driveway or on the street is easy and very accessible. Plenty of towels, beds were very comfortable and the host was extremely responsive. We had a great stay and will come again if we're in the area!

Such a cute little house, perfect place to stay for a family of 6! There was issues with A/c unit for our first two nights, but host was very responsive with updates and getting it fixed. Perfect location from Hershey park!

This was the perfect property for us to stay while we were in town visiting for a graduation weekend. Plenty of space for everyone, plenty of necessities in the kitchen. Cute little house on a quiet street and a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this house because the location was perfect for us. The house was well equipped and very clean. The host was very nice and accommodating. Will book again in the future.

Overall, this was a good stay for a short weekend away. We did the Riverfront concert in Harrisburg, and an Uber ride was cheap and easy from here.The good:Location is excellent, it's a quick trip into town food, and not very far to go into Harrisburg itself. Quiet street, didn't notice any noise at all.Street parking is easy, just be prepared with the tight driveway.House was clean, well supplied with basics.The not bad/just minor notes:Yard need some cleanup; a good power wash on the bricks and table, and some landscaping and it would be a nice spot to sit outside when it isn't super hot.There's realistically only one TV in the living room, so bring a laptop/iPad if you prefer to lounge in bed. Beds vary wildly in support, so choose your room wisely.Fans in each room are appreciated; it can be very warm upstairs if the AC isn't running.

Cute Hideaway, Convenient to Everything

For my few days back in an area that was my home many years ago I had plans with a bunch of people across a bunch of locations and this was the best possible base for all of it. Will definitely seek this one out again should life bring me back this way.

Well-Stocked Home in a Convenient Location

Home is in a convenient location to get to the highway to access Harrisburg/Hershey/shopping. We had a rainy week, but fortunately had plenty of room for our family of four to spread out, to use the kitchen to prep and cook a few meals, and the room layout and appliances/utensils made it very easy to make it feel like home away from home when the weather didn't cooperate.Owner was very easy to communicate with, clear home instructions and items provided made it a smooth week.

Family Get-Together

Overall, the house was well cared for, clean, tidy and had what we needed for our 3-night stay! We were visiting our daughter at Messiah University, and it was a quick 15 minute drive to campus. It's a great house with all the necessities you would need. If I had to say any complaints, it would just be that the mattresses/pillows weren't overly comfortable but other than that- great place!!

Happy with our stay

We were happy with our stay here in August, 2024. We were visiting Hershey and Gettysburg, and chose to stay between them. Staying here cost us less than the hotels we were looking at, and gave our family of four (including two teens) room to spread out. At night when we got back to the house, my daughter and I would watch some tv in the living room, my son would hang in his room and play his guitar. My husband’s favorite feature of the house was the office off the kitchen. He was finishing the last week of his summer grad class and appreciated having the quiet work space to use in the mornings. He loved the desk/monitor set up. The mattresses are on the firmer side, if that’s something you’re considering. Communication before, during and after our stay was smooth - the owner is very responsive. We would stay here again.

Nice weekend away

We had a delightful weekend getaway at this rental with our family, including our furry companion. The location was perfect for our planned trip to Hershey park, and the property itself had a cozy charm that made us feel at home. The highlight was the spacious layout and comfortable amenities that accommodated our needs well. Our dog loved the outdoor space. However, there were a couple of minor issues that detracted from an otherwise wonderful stay. The front door lock was a bit finicky, which sometimes made it a challenge to enter the property smoothly. Additionally, while overall cleanliness was good, we noticed that the bathroom shower could have been a bit more thoroughly cleaned. Despite these small issues, we appreciated the effort put into making the rental welcoming and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our time at this VRBO rental and would consider returning in the future, especially for its great location and pet-friendly environment.
