Getaway

This place is very outdated,but was clean. Barebones with amenities, only had one bath towel each, no washclothes,handtowels, etc. Could use a ceiling fan in the loft or at least a fan, A/C struggled. Overall, for the price it was not horrible, but doubt I'd return.

Perfect simple spot

We loved our stay at Coral Reef! The hospitality offered by Bruno and his wife and Roberto and all of the staff was fantastic. We'd never been to KB before, and loved the island; the 2 public parks on either end of the island are gorgeous, there is fantastic food all over the island. The apartment we rented was simple, but peaceful and spacious and we got great rest while on our 4 night trip. If you want fancy, go to the Ritz next door...but, we are truly serious about planning another trip back to stay in this same spot! All of the details were just as advertised such as 5 minute walk to beach (there's a key to a special gate!) Chairs and bikes available to rent. Thanks again to our wonderful Peruvian hosts.

Simply Terrible

Remember your first apartment? The one with 15 crappy layers of paint, no handles on the refrigerator (yes, really) and a weird layout? It was great because you were 18 and out of the house. This. Is that. But at 300/night.The furniture is incredibly cheap if it’s not broken. The A/C only really functions on one floor. I can’t imagine staying here in the summer.Please check out the google reviews for the Coral Reef Suites.The management company is also difficult to deal with. Their hp line is answered in the Philippines. Very nice people, but they can’t help.I have never left a one-star review on any property, but for the price this is terrible.
