Welcome to Buena Vista Farms, your serene getaway nestled on 3 acres, and borders Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. An hour from Washington DC, our eco-friendly lodge is perfect for anybody looking to work remotely and/or families wanting to enjoy spending time in the mountains. Enjoy a fully open backyard, and explore local wineries, breweries, and Shenandoah Valley's outdoor attractions. Offering comfort and adventure, it's the ideal spot for those seeking to relax or explore the great outdoors. Deck overlooks mountains w/ 3 acres area with a Small Pond in back, Fire Pit, Brick Oven with Brick style grill.
THE SPACE:
Buena Vista is an open-concept home with a large cozy living room with high vaulted ceilings, an electric fireplace, and plenty of comfortable seating so families can gather together. The lodge holds the charm of a cabin but includes unique fixtures such as gorgeous oak flooring, modern light fixtures, a rustic-modern look in all spaces.
NOTE: This listing is only for the Upper level of the house. Not the Lower level. There might times when there is a person in the lower level and it could the owner or another guest.
INDOOR LIVING: 2 flat screen smart TVs with Netflix, Amazon, board games, large kitchen island as dining table, workspace. Two bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms (master bedroom/bath and guest bathroom). In the living room you can lounge in the couch and just glaze out into the mountains through the 5' x 5' picture window enjoying a glass of wine.
KITCHEN: top-of-the-line appliances and fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking tools, spices, and dishware and utensils, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig, Microwave, and blender.
OUTDOOR LIVING: Kitchen door leads to a large spacious deck that overlooks fire pit area and mountains one side and skyline drive on the other. After a long exploration in Shenandoah lounge in fire pit or simply enjoy a nice meal made in our brick oven and grilling areas. There is a gas grill on deck that can be used.
UNIQUENESS: The property has an outdoor Brick Oven with it's owns grilling area that is covered. Make your meal the outdoor way over firewood or just lounge or take a break and play Cornhole or ax-throwing outside. The property also has a small pond where you can walk to and just observe the beauty of the surroundings.
PRISTINE MOUNTAIN WATER-ON TAP:
Try out the water on our property and taste the difference from the city water. Pure mountain well water on tap so bring your bottles for refills. The water on the property comes from natural springs "Spring water".
GENERAL: Super-Fast WiFi, cell phone reception for most carriers, heater/air conditioning, ceiling fans in all the rooms keeping summers comfortable and a fresh breeze circulating throughout, toiletries, linens, towels, hair dryer, washer & dryer.
PARKING: Gravel Driveway with enough parking for the whole family
PETS: Pets are welcomed. We charge an extra $99 per pet. Please ensure you clean up after your pet.

1. Treat our house with the same care and respect as you would your own home.
2. Please ensure the food leftovers are disposed of properly in trash can and use the garbage disposal as least as possible. The house has a septic tank, and it has no way of processing food leftovers, and it decreases life span of the tank.
3. We're fortunate to have spring water available. Try out the water on our property and taste the difference from the city water. Pure mountain well water on tap so bring your bottles for refills. The water on the property comes from natural springs "Spring water".
4. If you use any outdoor cushions, kindly return them to their designated spots after use.
5. No illegal substances of any type on property.
6. No discharging of firearms while on property.
7. Before your departure, please gather all dirty linens and place them in the designated basket. Anything left out will be assumed to be cleaned.
8. Need to stock up? The nearest grocery store (Martins) is just a short 7-minute drive away.
9. While you're here, be sure to explore the beauty of Shanandoah. From scenic hikes to charming local attractions, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
10. Should you need assistance with the oven or any other amenities, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
11. Planning to celebrate? For the convenience of all guests, we kindly ask that any parties or dancing take place outside.
12. There is a First AID kit and bug spray in the closet by front entrance door.
13. Above all, relax and enjoy your time here. We hope you create wonderful memories during your stay at our Shanandoah.
Other things to note:
The house is easily accessible and located of the paved road of Brownstown Rd, with a gravel road that leads into driveway of the house. The area is a little sloped so a 4x4 or AWD would work very well but if not a 2wd would be just fine.
Please let us know if you have any special check-in needs. We will always try to accommodate guests whenever possible to ensure you have a memorable stay at Buena Vista Farms!
