Hunters Hideaway är den sista egenskapen i slutet av en grindväg i slutet, avskilt från de livliga sakerna i staden. Det kommer ingen att köra förbi och inga grannar att se. Denna fastighet är verkligen en backwoods rustik tillflyktsort. Stugan ligger på 5. 5 tunnland mestadels skogsmark med en liten trädgård och stor uppfart. Hunters Hideaway är en enkel stuga med 2 sovrum; var och en med en fullstor säng, garderob och byrå på bottenvåningen. Även på bottenvåningen finns det kompletta köket, vardagsrum med gasspis, gott om sittplatser och TV / DVD (ledsen, ingen kabel eller disk). På bottenvåningen finns också ett badrum med badkar / dusch och separat tvättmaskin och torktumlare i lerrummet. Utanför vardagsrummet finns ett uteplatsfönster som leder till en uteplats med inbyggd eldstad och en gasgrill. I vardagsrummet är trappan som leder till ett öppet loft som innehåller två fulla sängar och ett badrum med dusch. Utanför finns en täckt veranda, skjul med 3 separata hundkamrar med vardera fat och sängkläder. Kennlarna är täckta och på en platta och rengörs ordentligt mellan varje hyresgäst. (Begär att ha husdjur i stugan)
Hunters Hideaway är inriktad på jaktpartier, den ligger i 'Grouse Capital of the World' med sitt oändliga utbud av offentligt jaktområde bara några kilometer bilfärd från stugan, men är också en fantastisk tillflyktsort för familjer och vänner som gillar alla de aktiviteter landet bor har att erbjuda. Tillträde till snöskoterleder är bara några mil med släde, flodåtkomst och kanotlandning är några mil längs vägen, skogen är rätt ut baksidan uteplats och detta är landet för en 1000 sjöar som sträcker sig från små simhål till stora sjöar med stora rena parker, båtlandningar / bryggor och tillräckligt med utrymme för vattenskidor, jet ski och musky fisk.

Family birthday

We needed a place for the weekend to celebrate a family birthday nearby. Cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. Property owner was easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this property!

Northwoods relaxation

Great place to get away from a big city for a long 4-day weekend!! This Hunter’s Hideaway had beautiful woodwork and Northwoods decor throughout. Clean, well-equipped for travelers, and spacious for sleeping 8. Nice patio and fire pit with grill too. Our dog loved exploring the area too!

Immaculate and fully stocked lovely spacious cabin

Cabin cleaner than I could ever get my own home! Fully stocked, was so nice to have washer/dryer there, plenty of sleeping accommodations. It says hunting cabin but ladies this was made for the wives, decorated so nice - go along with your hubby or if you hunt you'll love this! It is set deep in the woods which we like, you could hear the ruffed grouse nearby and it was so quiet at night. Best cabin we've ever stayed at for sure.

Quiet and Remote

Enjoyed our stay in this remote cabin location. Very peaceful and relaxing. Only drawback would be the distance to getting a meal, but we knew that when we selected the cabin. Owner was prompt with replies and very nice. Plenty of beds (4) although we only used the 2 downstairs. We did get to see several deer at the cabin and many along the drive to get here. We have added this location to our list of places to stay next year.

Quiet Get Away

The cabin is just as pictured online and was a great place to get away for a week of hiking and recharging up north. The air conditioning and WiFi both functioned well during our stay and we even had a cell phone signal from Verizon. While we enjoyed our stay, we had a few concerns: one of the bedrooms was missing its door, there are no smoke alarms (even though it appears that there are hard-wired sockets in the walls), and there was no fire extinguisher. We would stay here again if the beds were a little bit easier on tired bodies after a long day of hiking.

Things were not as advertise . No grill for fire pit. Gàs fireplace not operational tues when the temp dropped. No answer when called.. After contacting owners weds, was left waiting for 2 hours only to call to see where they were. Man answered and said he knew nothing about it! He was a real jerk about it too which made it worse. When he got there to fix it he continued being an ass and said you can leave by 11 tomorrow and be refunded. So we agreed. The fireplace stopped working that night and it was freezing..... couldn't wait to leave. We get one week a year, and can't believe how disappointing this was. Ended up having to drive home 5 hours Thursday. Kristen was nice enough, but I can only imagine the hell she's living with that prick. Got an email today and they are refusing full refund as we were told. This was simply a nightmare vacation... and we will fight to get our money back. There is more,, but im to angry to write more. Dont rent this place!

This was the perfect secluded location for my family’s weekend trip up North to go hunting. The yard was perfect for dogs, and we loved having an area to kennel the dogs outside. The stair gate and couch covers were also great for easing our worry when bringing the dogs inside at night. Amazing price for such a beautiful cabin, and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Secluded Cabin

My friends and I had a great time. The cabin was exactly as described and had everything needed for cooking, cleaning, and relaxing. There is a grill and fire pit that we were able to use to grill out as well. The cabin is on a private road with other cabins but it is nestled far away in the woods so there was very little ambient noise while we were relaxing outside. Kristin was quick to respond when my friend had reached out and was reassuring that bringing an excitable dog would be no issue. Overall, the cabin was exactly what we were looking for and we'd definitely stay again.

Hunter's Get Away

Been coming to this cabin for 10+ years, I enjoy it everytime. The cabin and property are great. If I had one recommendation it would be to replace the beds and sheets, I don't think they have been updated since they built the cabin.

I and my husband Corey and daughters Logan and KayCee manage Hunters Hideaway for a good friend of ours, Eddie, that is currently living in Virginia. We live just before the cabin on Aspen Lane, we can almost see the cabin roof from our home.
Corey and I are avid hunters. We both whitetail hunt with gun and bow, bear hunt and of corse bird hunt with Mazzi, our best bird dog ever. Logan, who is 12, has been trying to sit with mom during gun season the last couple of years, but just doesn't have the patients yet, but did get her first deer with the crossbow at 10.
Our favorite pass time is camping! We enjoy sleeping under the stars, tenting it, or using our pop up. We go all over Wisconsin looking for new parks and fun things to do.
I was born and raised and hardly left the Phillips area and my husband was born and raised in Appleton, WI with a small cabin in Phillips, but couldn't wait to move to Phillips after he met me :)

Varför värden valde detta boende

We built Hunters Hideway from 2009 to 2010 doing most of the work ourselves. Before Corey became a maintenance man at a local factory he owned his own construction/flooring business, primarily doing custome tile jobs. The cabin is conveneintly located near our residence for ease of maintenance and assitance. Hunters Hideaway is located at the end of a mile long private gravel road that is located at the dead end of a 5 miles town road. It doesn't get any more rural and secluded than that. We joke that it is at the edge of the earth. With the nearest town being a 15 mile country drive.
