Undvik rörelse och buller varje dag på Red Cottage Hideaway. Skyview stugan var klar och öppnades i oktober 2012. Den lilla röda bondgårdsstugan hyser ut från veckorna i de östra kullarna i Holmes County, direkt i hjärtat av världens största Amish-samhälle. Bara 10 minuter från Berlin, Walnutcreek och Winesburg. Vår adress säger Dundee men vi är i holmes län och Dundee är ca 15 minuter härifrån! Det är omgivet av fantastiska landskap mitt i varje säsong och är mest hisnande på hösten. Stugorna har stora öppna himmlar, i skymning är det ett stargazer paradis!
The Skyview stuga sover 2 och är utrustad med bekvämligheter avsedda att skämma bort 2 gäster för den ultimata kvällen eller helgen bort!
Beläget på en lugn township väg, är gästerna garanterade ensamhet, även om logi värdar, Weavers, bor i närheten. Medan stugan är en härlig land oas, är det bara 10-15 minuter från shopping och restauranger i Walnut Creek, Winesburg, eller Berlin.
Höra ljudet av närliggande barnvagnar klipp klappa på vägen och bli påmind om det enklare liv där det helt enkelt är ingen brådska.

Peaceful

The cottage was very nice. Enjoyed relaxing on the front porch swing. It’s on a quiet country road but still close to things to see and do. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Second stay here- will return!

This was our second visit to this property (once in summer and once in winter). We’ve stayed various places in the surrounding area over the years and while we’ve enjoyed them all, this is our absolutely favorite- location, coziness, amenities and comfort are second to none. Just far enough out that you have peace and quiet but also a quick easy drive to activities.It will always be our first choice in the future!

Nice cozy place

We really liked the cottage, especially the hot tub! Everything was wonderful! Only point of contention was the front deck step was quite high for my wife. There should be middle step.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location for this cottage. Gorgeous sunsets. Peaceful and quiet. The cottage seemed centrally located in Amish Country; close to attractions/shops/restaurants but away from the " main hub". We were able to recharge our souls. Would definitely stay here again ( or in one of the other ones)

Relaxing

Familiar with area but first time at this cabin. We will definitely return- very clean, comfortable and private stay. Close enough to Berlin, Sugarcreek etc but off the grid enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Great responsive hosts and wouldn’t change a thing with the cottage!

Quiet weekend

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and well managed. We would seriously consider booking another stay. However, i would bring kleenex and paper towels because they were not provided which was a little inconvenient.

Peaceful retreat

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was just what we were looking for, welcoming and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch swing enjoying sights and sounds of the countryside. Rich was so kind and helpful; helped me unload the car since my husband just had surgery and couldn't lift anything heavy. Would love to return for another stay!

Relaxed get away!!

My sister and I always go on our annual trip. We chose this place because it was only ten minutes from Berlin. This place by far has been the nicest. It had everything you needed, very clean and the decor made it so homey. The homemade cinnamon rolls and bread were such a sweet welcome. Loved sitting by the fireplace, which they provided the wood. Thank you Marilyn for providing us this beautiful place to stay. 😊

Anniversary Getaway

My hubs and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at this lovely cabin. The pictures don't do justice to the area. Each cabin on the property is beautifully set against a pastoral backdrop while keeping an appropriate distance from one another so that privacy is secure. We felt like royalty and enjoyed all of the promised amenities as pictured, including grilling out on the gas grill, soaking in the hot tub, and cooking a lovely brunch in the well-stocked kitchen. This site is a MUST BOOK and will bless you if you're looking for a quiet escape. The owners left some thoughtful sweet treats in honor of our stay and were very accessible before and during our stay. The area is lovely and if you're looking for some outdoor adventure, there are GREAT hiking trails with waterfalls within a 10-minute drive. We will definitely be staying again!

A Relaxing Stay

So wonderfully clean! The bed was super cozy, everything about the property was wonderful. To top it all off, the host left a Anniversary cake for us in the fridge along with some cinnamon rolls & bread. Totally recommend staying at the cottage.

Relaxing getaway

My husband and I traveled to Ohio for a quick birthday getaway weekend. The cottage is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Very easy check in, easy to operate controls for the tv and hot tub. Approximately 10-15 minutes to Berlin, the cottage sits on a very quiet side road- only a few cars per day passed by and a few buggies. There is an identical cottage further down the lane, and 2 other homes within view of the back porch and 2 homes across the road. However, there is enough distance between the homes that there is minimal impact to privacy. We were greeted with fresh flowers on the front porch and cinnamon rolls and bread in the fridge! We wished we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend!

Amazing Place!!

We had an amazing stay for our anniversary. They even surprised us with a cake which was so appreciated and unexpected. Super clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. Absolutely loved that you provided drinks and coffee. Can’t wait to stay again!!

We love what we do! We built our first cottage at Red Cottage Hideaway from the ground up in 2009. In 2012 we built cottage 2 and are planning to build a 3rd in the fall of 2014. Prior to opening Red Cottage Hideaway, throughout both of our careers, we have both had the pleasure to be involved in customer service. We feel God has prepared us well, and this is why we love what we do! We both grew up 10 minutes from the cottages, directly in the heart of downtown Amish Country. We love it here!

The views here, we promise, are to die for! Tourists travel our back country road, especially in the fall, just see the beautiful countryside!
Wide open skies. Our cottages are both across the road from our house. One is situated at the very top of the hill with a view of Amish Country farmlands and a town that is 5 miles away, and the other cottage is is tucked away by a wooded ravine . We could never leave this property because we love it so much here! This is why we take great pride in its' upkeep and maintenance.
