Our host Greg, responded immediately to every question so helpfully! Pretty , comfortable home in a nice area. Very clean, kitchen appliances perfect, We wish we could have stayed longer, and would go back. Family of 7 adults.

This was a lovely property and was exactly as it was listed. The house had all the amenities that my group of 9 - 6 adults, 3 kids - needed. The house was very clean and well kept. Greg was very responsive to my emails. I wanted to check in 30 minutes early and he really worked with me to make it happen. He also came by and took out the trash for us and asked us if we needed anything. The check-in and check-out process was very straightforward. His directions about what to do on our departure day was very clear and easy.

Beautiful old home! Great neighborhood! The close proximity to Boston allowed us to pack a lot of adventure into 3 days. Close to the train station and the T was easy to navigate. This house was so nice and comfortable to come home to every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed. The deck was a lovely place to hang out, we celebrated our last evening of vacation on the deck with cannolis from Mike’s Pastry.

This comfortable, lovely house was just right for our family visit to Melrose. Nice spaces for gathering. Convenient to walking downtown, restaurants, and to the neighborhood waterfall.

Wonderful House in Melrose

Greg's house was the perfect place for our two families. We had enough space to spread out and also hang out together. The house was clean, cozy, located in a great neighborhood, had everything we needed, and was even nicely decorated for the holidays! It was very easy to communicate with Greg, and he even came to make sure the snow was shoveled in front of the house. Thank you for providing a place for us to spend time with our friends.

Home for the holidays

We all enjoyed our stay at this quaint home, it is centrally located to all of our extended family. We were happy with the location, layout, and the attention to detail. The host was available and attentive. We had a great time.

Beautiful House Excellent Location

The house is located on a quite street near a quaint Downtown Area The house has area for two cars The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The owner Gregg was very welcoming and worked hard to make sure everything was Ok I want to thank him again for letting my family stay in such a beautiful home If you need a place do not hesitate to take this house

Wedding celebration

Our group of 8 were visiting for a wedding. The home was spacious and we did not feel we were not on top of each other when we were at the house. We were close to the train to get to Boston. The deck was a great place to sit and catch up. Communication with the owner was awesome. He was very responsive and helpful. The owner is willing to work with guest with checking in and out! The drive way is tight, however we were able to fit 3 vehicles. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Highly recommended Turners Seafood, get the stuff shrimp!! The home was clean. The house is well stocked for cooking( even though we did not cook). The beds were comfy for our stay. The 3rd floor bedroom is a climb but we made the youngs one take that one!! The upstairs shower water does not get that hot, it is luke warm. The downstairs shower is super hot! Both had great water pressure. The living room couch is big enough for all of to sit comfortably to watch some football!

The property was in an excellent location. 4 double beds and 1 king bed all in seperate bedroom's Nice outside rear terrace and front por h area. The only thing to be aware of, is that, there is only one shop tjat sells beet

Clean, Has everything you need, Great location!

We stayed three nights while visiting Boston for a portion of our family vacation. Greg is super communicative and easy to reach if needed. The property was very clean and had everything we need. We are a fairly picky group as some of us own rental properties and we have a chef in our group. While we didn’t do any cooking, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed the walkability of the neighborhood and walked to dinner and the waterfall nearby. Super comfy beds and elevated soaps/shampoos are a nice touch!

Melrose was perfect

The house is very large and comfortable. It was hot out so the house was nice and kool. We will definitely book this house again when we go up to see our daughter and her family whom live in Melrose.

Lovely house in Melrose

Great house and location in Melrose, appropriate for family group. Property is as described and appliances that we used worked fine (with exception of garbage disposal); a new dishwasher was delivered to the property on our last morning there so it seems like next group will have a new one! Host is very involved and clearly cares about property; he texted with both information and instructions about the house and came to mow lawn, weed/water garden while we were there.

Excellent and pet friendly!

My family had a wonderful time staying with our family dog for my son’s college graduation in Boston. Greg was a courteous and most gracious host and we thoroughly enjoyed being all together, lounging on the back porch, cooking and eating family meals, and just hanging out! There was nothing lacking and we would definitely stay again!

Excellent Weekend Stay!

We traveled to the area for the Boston Marathon. This home and location were the perfect place for us to be able to relax, cook our own food, and prep for the weekend without the hustle/bustle of the city. The close proximity to public transportation was great and it was an affordable Uber ride into Boston as well. The walkability of the town - to restaurants, churches, groceries, etc. - was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Greg was a wonderful and responsive host. Would definitely stay there again!

Family Visit to Boston area

We recently spent 3 nights at this beautiful home in Melrose. We had six adults and one child in our party as well as our two dogs. The home was spacious , warm and very clean. We had plenty of room to spread out. The location is perfect. It’s easy to get into Boston via the train. The station is just a few minutes from the house. It’s also a very short drive to get on I-93 and I-95. There are several great restaurants within walking distance. Greg, the host, was outstanding. He was very communicative and accommodating . We will definitely be booking this house again. I highly recommend it!!

Christmas 2023

The house is a 4 BR, one of which is a lovely 3rd floor loft with one full bathroom on the 2nd floor with the bedrooms and one full bath off the kitchen on main floor. Spacious, well appointed kitchen. Had a small problem with the oven tripping the breaker which Greg promptly arrived and resolved. Great location just 2 miles from my daughter's house and right beside main street. The only reason I gave a 4 star was a dirty pan left in the oven and no towels or body wash in the bathrooms. Plenty of towels in laundry room tho. Will definitely stay here again!

Awesome House & a Great Host!

This home is absolutely beautiful (just as pictured) and comfortable. It was not much of a drive to Salem or Boston, so well located! There was plenty of things near by for needs and the commuter trains were close too! We loved our stay and would book it again anytime! Thanks for the great time and letting us use your home Greg!
