Highlights: Gorgeous residence with private indoor/ outdoor pool, chefs kitchen, main level bedroom with fireplace, nursery, media room and A/C. Very private, yet minutes to Stone Ridge and Kingston. The home has very limited availability, dates available for Summer only: 26th June - 20th August.
Alpine Haven is the perfect home to recharge and have fun with the family. Amenities galore provide swimming, reading nooks, a media room, and plenty of space for a group.
Without a doubt, the main highlight of the house is the pool. Custom built by the owners, the pool is accessed directly from the house and can be heated, and so is comfortable to use in all weather. The glass walls open up to allow in fresh air and an outside experience, and in the summer, the roof is partially open to reveal the sky. It’s really amazing and a great addition to the property for days when the sun isn’t shining on us!
Inside, the modern home is geared to family living, with gorgeous bright spaces and contemporary furnishings. A large living and dining area, as well as a full media room will provide plenty of space to be with friends and family. For rest, the house offers sleeping on all three levels. The main level has easy access to a lovely guest bedroom with sitting area and fireplace, perfect for perhaps seniors who do not wish to use the stairs. Upstairs are two further bedrooms; one the principal with its own balcony, the other a nursery with crib and trundle bed, ideal for families with children. The lower level has a fourth bedroom with queen bed. All three floors have full hallway bathrooms, with showers on the main and lower level, and a shower and soaking tub on the upper.
For dinner, 10 minutes will put you in a great restaurant in Stone Ridge, 15 minutes to Kingston or just a little further west, Woodstock. Or take advantage of the homes’ well stocked kitchen, where the professional grade appliances and island seating will no doubt contribute to the makings of a great meal.
Outside, there is a dining deck with charcoal BBQ, a firepit with seating, a tree swing, and a creek just a short hike / walk away.
Like all Upstate Place properties, this home has a crib, highchair, baby bath etc. available to make even the smallest guest’s stay welcoming and easy.
Alpine Haven would ideally suit a multi generational family or groups of friends vacationing together.

Utility Outages: As Upstate New York can see its’ fair share of inclement weather and is primarily a tree rich area with overhead power lines, please know we do not assume responsibility for utility outages during your stay. If electric, water or Wi-Fi service is impacted, we do not refund. Of course, if an outage were to persist for longer than 8 hours we would allow a cancellation without penalty.
Weather: During the winter months, there may be ice, snow, and hazardous conditions. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please ask about the plowing schedule for the house. Most driveways are plowed at or before 3” of accumulation.
Animals and Pests: The house is in a rural environment and surrounded by countryside, farms and wildlife. Although it’s wonderful to observe the eagles, deer, bears, and adorable chipmunks, it can also mean you will hear coyotes and foxes at night, and encounter the less cute mice, flies, snakes, ants, bees and ticks. There is very little to be done about it, but by keeping doors closed or screened and food in its appropriate storage, unwelcome guests will stay outside where they belong. All our properties benefit from scheduled pest control, but we are in a natural environment and we can not fortify the houses completely.
Cleaning Guarantee: We are very proud of our housekeeping team who go above and beyond. Because of their hard work and high professional standards, we are able to guarantee our cleaning to our guests. We take time stamped video and photos of the cleaned property and do not refund for any small issues found during a stay. Instead, should a guest feel that something is amiss or needs additional attention, we will gladly have a housekeeper attend the home to take care of it within 12 hours of an issue being reported.
This home may have weekly pool, lawn, and trash services as well as monthly pest control service. Service providers may access the exterior front yard, back yard, and pool deck during your stay to ensure the home is properly maintained.
Rental Agreement: Please know that we require all guests to sign a rental lease agreement.
This house has two levels and may not be suitable for guests who don’t wish to use stairs.
Additional Fees: Depending on their requirements, guests will be subject to the following additional fees
